Elden Ring Nightreign is definitely a game apart in FromSoftware's catalog. Despite a clear requirement primarily geared toward three-player co-op, we legitimately had many memorable moments on this "Rogue-Lite Survival" spin-off in a generally successful and frankly addictive way, despite obvious balancing issues and questionable choices for a title focused on multiplayer. To fully appreciate the game in all its glory, however, we can only strongly advise you to play it with a group of friends. If you are primarily a solo player, unless you are a true Souls-like god, it is clearly better to move on, or bitterly suffer the consequences.- Gameblog.fr

With its ludicrous storyline and its super-cool characters, Ghost Trick blows a fresh wind on DS adventure games. Its designers undoubtedly loved making it. Capcom didn't lie on the goods. After a brilliant success like Phoenix Wright, its designers have done it again. Congrats.- Gameblog.fr

Sonic Colours is the best 3D Sonic since the Adventure iterations on the Dreamcast. Beautiful, nicely cinematic and with spectacular gameplay and level design, Sonic Colours is a big step in the right direction for the blue hedgehog. The Sonic Team was able to draw inspiration from the latest plumber's adventures from Nintendo to give new momentum to their character, and it's both a satisfaction and a relief to play with him again in such a satisfying way.- Gameblog.fr

Overall, Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is a magnificent comeback for the legendary SEGA franchise. This new game is a wonderful love letter to the franchise, with a well-crafted Metroidvania twist. However, the lifespan is artificially inflated by limiting the player to the main story and adding unnecessarily frustrating phases. If you loved the original games or enjoy 2D action platformers with stunning artistic direction, we wholeheartedly recommend this sumptuous martial arts masterpiece.- Gameblog.fr

Behind the humorous, colorful atmosphere, Game Builder Garage proves a real creation environment, with a phenomenally intuitive interface and a clever didactic approach to such a huge amount of possibilities, using almost every function of the system. But Nintendo also made delicate compromises between simplicity and ambition through technical or sharing limitations, hence production will heavily rely on Nodon game designers' efforts.- Gameblog.fr

Despite some shortcomings, this Pendulo title manages to keep the pressure up from start to finish. Its odd characters are charming, its puzzles sometimes devious but overall its a very accessible title, blessed by quality dialogs... All in all The Next BIG thing has everything to please. We're still sorry it's too easy and rather short. But it's a very satisfying adventure, on par with the greatest titles of the point'n click genre.- Gameblog.fr

InFamous: Second Son is the most beautiful and impressive game on PS4, and it's also a very nice open world game. The revolution is more on the visuals than in the gameplay, as it is quite classical, but this is still the next-gen game PS4 owners were waiting for.- Gameblog.fr

Ys VIII proves once again that 2016 is the year of J-RPG. Not only does it offer solid RPG elements and dynamic combat sessions, it also does a very good job at making us discover the Siren Island and care for our heroes. And with its excellent graphics (especially for the Vita version) and this very good soundtrack, all that makes it one of the best game of this summer 2016. A great J-RPG to play on the go.- Gameblog.fr

The Banner Saga is an excellent Tactical/Adventure game mixing Bioware-like RPG with choices and consequences, and turn-based fights. It is not perfect in terms of gameplay, but it is visually stunning. We can't wait for the next episode.- Gameblog.fr

Unravel Two appears to be a real treat for your eyes and ears, as well as its predecessor. The possibility to control two Yarnys, alone or with a friend, is a real addition to this poetic journey. The seven levels of the main story can be completed really fast but the extra missions extend the experience for the players seeking for some challenge.- Gameblog.fr

Just like Captain Toad, if you can't jump, you'd better use your brain. This down-to-earth approach transforms the environments into puzzles that require to look harder - and dig deeper - than expected in order to find all of their design treasures. And despite a lack of additional content, such wonders get even shinier on Switch.- Gameblog.fr

Rally fans will not be disappointed by DiRT 3. Visually impressive, superb, it offers many game modes, a friendly split-screen multiplayer, the famous Gymkhana events that require dexterity and self-control, direct YouTube videos... But beyond that, it is still quite conservative, especially in his driving sensations, between arcade and simulation. The cars seem to lack weight and the career is a bit confusing... At the end, it's quite difficult to really forget the excellent Colin McRae Dirt 2.- Gameblog.fr

Brotherhood isn't trying to make easy money. One can surely grunt at the lack of mythology revelations and average story (but still unmissable for the fan) of the campaign, but its gameplay has been improved in almost every way. It's massive (at least 12 hours if you're not trying to get everything), and rich with a lot of new stuff, both small and big (starting with the assassin's guild mechanics). We'll see in the long run if its multiplayer will prove to have more strengths than weaknesses, but it's already, and unmistakably, one of the most refreshing experiences of late, with games that are an inspiration for ruse, cold-blood, and cunning.- Gameblog.fr

Widely acclaimed when it first came out in 2006, Final Fantasy XII is now coming out for Nintendo Switch through its Zodiac Age Remaster, realeased for PS4 in 2017. It's basically the same game, with minor visual flaws, but we won't complain for it's the first time we can enjoy this generous and enchanting journey on a handheld system.- Gameblog.fr

Artistically, then, Tales of Kenzera Zau stands out in every way. From its narrative to its visuals to its OST, everything is done to take us on an extremely touching and personal journey. It's so heartfelt and soulful that the rest suffers. The level design is relatively classic for the genre, as is the gameplay which, while particularly exhilarating and satisfying, leaves us with the feeling of not being exploited to its full potential. Tales of Kenzera often moves too fast, or is it so successful that it leaves you wanting more, the question remains. The fact is, as it stands, it's a breath of fresh air, a tangy treat that offers rare sensations. Absolutely touching.- Gameblog.fr

Kingdoms of Amalur is a nice RPG mechanic; well designed, well oiled. Almost spotless. It's pretty, polished, interesting. But there's nothing to surprise or puzzle you. The story is fine (and supports the gameplay), the world complex, but nothing comes out of the ordinary in this high fantasy tale, similar as it is to a thousand others. As a result, it's played with fun as a regular Action RPG, rich in content, but quickly digested as well. More soul for the sequel, please!- Gameblog.fr

Katana ZERO is magnificent action game with a fantastic atmosphere. Its story and characters are as sharp as its gameplay, that offers some true puzzling moments wondering how to kill efficiently, by using a very useful slow-motion mechanic. Unfortunately, at the time we're done with it, as it is a very compelling experience, we're still hungry. Let's hope for a sequel. Quick.- Gameblog.fr

Ghost of a Tale is a game made with love and for lovers of beautiful things. The principles are quite generic (we look for keys, which open doors that unlock new possibilities...), but they are articulated with care and intelligence. If you like to think and play with elegance while having a good time, here is a title that should be played. Ghost of a tale is well worth it. Just to encourage the creation of other games of this caliber. The animators of the cinema get along well with video games.- Gameblog.fr
