Forza Horizon 5 is the epitome of the series. It remains firmly rooted on the foundations of Horizon, guarding annoying aspects for some (especially the overplayed tone of all the tracks off), but only raises everything that has already made the salt of the four opuses that have it. preceded. Beautiful to knock down the bumpers, refined to blow a hose, he is a very beautiful baby. It is (very) well on its way to being a system seller in the Xbox ecosystem and I wouldn't be surprised if bundles are coming in very quickly by the end of the year. Anyone who owns a machine capable of running it should have a taste of it.- Gameblog.fr

Gorgeous, generous, incredibly well written and fun to play, The Witcher's story conclusion is far from a disappointment. It's an amazing open-world RPG, looking like Skyrim and Grand Theft Auto's child, offering so many wonderful and lively places to explore, so many tasks to accomplish, so many fantastic stories and characters, so many great battles to fight, that it will take hours to explore the entire thing. A solid masterpiece that you can't seriously miss if you like RPGs - and have plenty of time to play.- Gameblog.fr

Demon's Souls PS5 is an amazing remake. Technically, it's almost perfect, visually jaw-dropping. On the gameplay side, it's almost the same game as twelve years ago. We can regret that some improvements seen in Dark Souls or Bloodborne are not part of the journey, but if you need one game for you PS5 or are tempted by discovering the Souls series, you can't miss it.- Gameblog.fr

Under its 8-bit skin that may not please every player in the world, UnderTale has a heart beating with some inspiring and truly modern gameplay and narrative elements, a great story, full of humor and emotion, and several memorable characters.- Gameblog.fr

Rather than dying out while burning only through its ardent fans' hearts, Fire Emblem's flame spread by letting the players decide the temperature of the challenge, without cooling down its blazing gameplay. On the contrary, it even flared up with the intensified support system, the inflamming bonds created between the warriors and the warm wireless options, although just missing online battles to shine forever.- Gameblog.fr

With Smash Bros. for Wii U, Nintendo offers a meticulous and generous game, technically stunning and with an indestructible replay value, whether playing alone or with friends, in local or online multiplayer. If entertainment is a science, Smash Bros. for Wii U deserves the Nobel.- Gameblog.fr

Years after its initial release, Bayonetta 2 keeps on delivering. It is still the best beat them all you can play at this time, the most beautiful, the craziest, the most generous. And the fact it's now playable wherever and whenever you want doesn't make it less essential, on the contrary.- Gameblog.fr

Xenoblade Chronicles is like a collage of all the best elements taken from the JRPGs that came out in the 2000's. It has everything to become a cult RPG, including a release platform that doesn't really suit the genre. So, even though its not HD, its numerous qualities make it a must-have for all JRPG fans who didn't yet commit suicide because of all the disappointments of this generation.- Gameblog.fr

The Switch version of Mario Kart is quite possibly the best in the series. Mario Kart 8 was already fantastic on the Wii U and the way the game uses the Switch's features genuinely transcends that game.- Gameblog.fr

Masterpieces are immortal. This new HD and 3D edition erases some of yesterday's shortcomings (most notably the low frame-rate of Shadow of the Colossus), all the while underlining some other technical issues that we overlooked yesterday, but those two journeys, those two gameplays, those two stories remain as potent as ever. Those are two titles that stand elsewhere in the crowd of computer games, two stars that shine as brightly as ever in an ever-evolving galaxy, and don't seem ready to fade away any time soon.- Gameblog.fr

A brilliant conclusion to the adventures of Geralt of Rivia, with a fantastic new area to discover, captivating main story, some lovely characters and a lot of interesting and well-written side-quests. Fans of the Witcher will ddfinitely love Blod and Wine, even if it's not a truly challenging expansion.- Gameblog.fr

Just like Rayman Origins did one year ago, Rayman Legends just blew me away. Michel Ancel and his team did incredible work to make this game competitive against others platformers. They deliver a beautiful game, with some clever gameplay mechanics. The Wii U version uses the asymmetric gameplay very well and multiplayer is even better on this platform.- Gameblog.fr

What a formidable tribute this Pac-Man Championship Edition DX is for the 30th birthday of Pac-Man. Addictive, thrilling, psychedelic, this frenzy-inducing downloadable title reinvents the classic gameplay with subtleness, without spoiling the substance of the original. Being able to refresh such an oldie without crushing it... kudos !- Gameblog.fr

If the Sandbox idea exists in many games, LittleBigPlanet 2 goes far beyond, almost inventing a new genre we could call "toybox". The user can become a true game designer, and draw inspiration from the really nice Story mode and the multiplayer mini-games, all the way up to designing the proverbial cherry on the cake.- Gameblog.fr

In 2016, Playdead has delivered a masterpiece of a game to the world. Most accomplished and thrilling than Limbo, Inside can now be enjoyed everywhere on the Nintendo Switch. Basically, it's the same game, which is certainly not a fault. We're now anticipating what will come next from the brilliant minds of the Danish studio.- Gameblog.fr

If you are an experienced pilot and already have X-Plane with premium paid content, you won't upgrade to Microsoft Flight Simulator. Well, not right away. Because if we can find problems with Asobo's baby, none of them is insolvable and will undoubtedly see improvements to strive even more towards perfection. As it stands, Flight Simulator is already a benchmark platform that will undoubtedly establish itself as the civil flight simulation of the decade. Checkmate.- Gameblog.fr

With Bayonetta 2, Wii U has its trump card: a queen of spades that takes advantages on almost every game of the genre and hits us right in the heart. It's an outstanding production, beautifully executed, with state of the art mechanics and ridiculously generous. And it can be enjoyed by everyone as its difficulty and handling can be adjusted. Definitely a beat them all no one has the right to ignore.- Gameblog.fr

If your bank account can withstand the investment for those pro instruments, or even if you want to keep playing the old way, Rock Band 3 is now the new benchmark of music games for groups. The Keyboard is a true bonus, especially in pro mode, and the Pro Guitar a real challenge for die hard gamers. Still blessed with its spot-on gameplay, as a videogame, it is beyond reproach and will entertain you for hours. But in terms of music teaching tool, we're not quite there yet. Only time will tell if the public will follow, and if the pro mode will indeed lead to new vocations, like the drums addition in the original Rock Band did. But Harmonix made progress and invested in innovation, while its competitors laze, and one may only applaud for that.- Gameblog.fr

The arrival of Dragon Quest XI on Switch is quite Ultimate indeed: combining a 2D and a 3D approach, this port also adds a good amount of new features, such Japanese voices, symphonic orchestrations, and new quests. Sadly, if you already bought the PS4 version, you will have to spend some more money for this truly Ultimate Edition.- Gameblog.fr

Even if this PS4 version is all about new (and clearly stunning) graphics and doesn't fix some issues with camera and controls, it is a fantastic way to discover or taste once again one of the most extraordinary, emotional and impressive games of all times. Shadow of the Colossus deserves this second life, as it really well executed thanks to Blue Point's work.- Gameblog.fr

Few are the areas where Halo : Reach doesn't benefit from Bungie's obvious intention to deliver a definitive farewell episode. Aside from french voices and music that are simply good (but not as fantastic as one would hope every single aspect to be), and new covenant weapons slightly off when used in the solo campaign, Reach delivers a brilliant solo experience. The story may not be surprising, but it's a well told one. Reach remains awe-inspiring for its implementation, scope, diversity and richness. Those who will have to carry on the flame have a high bar set there for them to surpass.- Gameblog.fr

Forza 4 is back in good shape with more content than ever before and many new features, including Kinect integration for the fun, the Autovista mode for car lovers, the Rival mode for competition, and much more... but we will first remember its technical performance (the game looks great and runs continuously at 60 fps) and its superb gameplay, which provides renewed physics for exceptional driving sensations. We can forgive its few flaws and raise our thumbs up: it is impossible to miss it if you're a fan of racing games.- Gameblog.fr

The stakes were high after It Takes Two. How to get past GOTY 2021? Hazelight found the answer with Split Fiction. A true gameplay success, it's never a pleasure to hold the controller in your hand. Josef Fares' teams have not lost any of their inventiveness, either, and manage to offer us a gameplay experience we never tire of. Most of the storyline could have done with a bit more surprise, but it's a solid one that works from start to finish. What more could you ask for? It's another nugget from a studio that puts the pleasure of playing above all else.- Gameblog.fr

Fez may not be as polished as its pairs, the Limbos and the Braids, but it's the indie gem we were expecting it to be. It's an ode to 8bit clichés for sure, but also a puzzler that will appeal to all the thinkers and explorers alike, filled with cuteness, an awesome soundtrack and atmosphere, and quite a load of secrets to uncover.- Gameblog.fr
