Despite its production quality, some good acting and great accessibility, Erica doesn't feel like a great interactive movie. Most of the actions are just pointless and the story and characters as a whole, whatever our decisions are, feel rushed and fail to really create a connection between the player and the characters.- Gameblog.fr

Despite prestigious influences like Final Fantasy in its aesthetic and Devil May Cry in its gameplay, Lost Soul Aside clearly doesn't hold a candle to these illustrious licenses. While its combat and progression system are globally solid, if not original, its story is as conventional as can be, its all-encompassing artistic direction lacking coherence, and its very choppy performances, notably suffering from major framerate issues, are clearly its downfall. A somewhat sad state for a new Chinese game that exudes the desire to do well, which required a considerable development time of nine years, but at a price that is too high for what it offers as it stands.- Gameblog.fr

Why did Square Enix bother to work on an online version of Final Fantasy XV ? Comrades just cuts short the open fights of the main game, taking off its charming exploration part. Naked as a baby, the adventure only serves four-players redundant fights, only if you survived the long lobby waiting. Only the hardcore dying fans of the Eos universe should spend some good time playing it.- Gameblog.fr

Square Enix did the right thing by investing in an entirely new franchise. But in the end, Forspoken is a huge disappointment with too many flaws to be a good game. A bland open world with forgets to shape its own identity, a poor writing and too many weakness from a technical point of view, coexist with some good gameplay mechanics like the spells and the parkour.- Gameblog.fr

Meridian: New World is a classic strategy game. It lacks in variety, but remains fun and effective. Too bad that the visuals have not been worked more.- Gameblog.fr

Unique visuals, intriguing story and setting : even if it feels technically outdated, Mundaun succeeds in making you want to solve its mysteries. But it has many issues, starting with your character's sluggishness and how action and stealth can feel erratic and painful.- Gameblog.fr

Despite a prologue that promises an oppressing and mystical atmosphere, Shattered Space leaves on the long run the taste of a « lazy » DLC that does not push its concept to its full extent. Its hand-crafted open world is gorgeous to look at, but sadly uninteresting to explore. House Va'ruun, the core of the story, deserved a better treatment, but falls short because of shallow characters and a scenario that poorly motivates the player to feel invested in. The whole experience can although be pleasant for the fans of the (too ?) classical Bethesda formula, despite an almost total lack of new gameplay mechanics and enemies to fight. Nevertheless, players who did not like Starfield in the first place will certainly not enjoy its first DLC. Let us hope that Bethesda will do better on a second one, presumably already in the works somewhere among the stars.- Gameblog.fr

Sadly, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is too faithful to the original game, which didn't aged as well as a Wonder Boy Dragon's Trap, to mention another SEGA game remade. Sure, Jankenteam made a beautiful job and it's a pleasure to watch and listen. But it's also a quite irritating 2D platformer as it doesn't play very well and lacks precise controls and hitboxes.- Gameblog.fr

Star Wars Episode 1 : Racer could have been a nice port on Switch, but the game still suffers from too many flaws to really satisfy. Fast and exhilarating, this Switch version seems unfinished, and features bugs, popping and clipping effects, without mentioning a horribly compressed soundtrack that does not justice to its brilliant composer.- Gameblog.fr

Road 96 Mile 0 is a rather nice dive into the dystopian universe. The prequel suffers from its classical aspect and loses everything that made its predecessor so special and instead brings musical sections that are rather boring and imperfect on consoles. A game that nevertheless manages to shine at times thanks to its soundtrack, its pop atmosphere and its staging that is sometimes really impressive.- Gameblog.fr

Criticism without nuance of the consumer society and the deadly routine of the employee, Mosaic develops a style, a subject but remains an extremely harsh experience. Difficult to recommend it as a video game, its final form seems more suited to that of a short film, the interaction is already extremely limited.- Gameblog.fr

With Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires, we will again beat up Chinese soldiers, 1 Vs. 100, over the hours. In addition to the impressive selection of characters and stories, the new way of creating heroes is quite nice. They have also added a small amount of strategy (alliances, diplomacy...), but it is quite limited, unlike the battle arenas, which are larger than ever. Graphically, it is the equivalent to a game at the end of the Xbox life... yes, the first one. Finally, no major changes to the series: the fans will be pleased, the others, those who moved on to something else a long time ago, will remain unmoved.- Gameblog.fr

We would have loved to like Project Zero 4: The Mask of the Lunar Eclipse which, let's face it, is still above the fifth installment. But now, by choosing the path of the remaster, Koei Tecmo prevents the game from erasing its defects of yesteryear. Between the race which is akin to walking, the worries in moving, the slowness to pick up even an object, the title drags more than a ball. As it stands, like Project Zero 5, it would have needed a remake. Besides that, the catchy scenario, the atmosphere and even the basic concept are more flattering arguments. A game that is primarily aimed at fans who would not have had the opportunity to make this episode, and who can now enjoy it in VOSTFR with a very good Japanese soundtrack.- Gameblog.fr

New Tales from the Borderlands won't be the spiritual sequel that so many fans were hoping for. More technically accomplished, the game adapts a formula that has been out of date for years without managing to bring any real flavor to it. It has the merit of making us laugh for about ten hours, without ever managing to be as memorable, enjoyable and delirious as its predecessor.- Gameblog.fr

If EA had any ambition with Fuse to get a new yearly incremental shooter, it needs to think again: Fuse has everything it needs... to make it an average and unmemorable TPS. There's nothing setting it aside of the mass of generic games from this genre.- Gameblog.fr

Starship Troopers Extermination is aimed mainly at the most hardcore fans of the franchise. Those who want arachnid blood in their eyes, and to spit tons of lead on hundreds of creatures simultaneously. On that, no worries, you will have what you are looking for. For the others, however, it is another story. If we will willingly move beyond the visual aspect of the game, obviously below standards, it is difficult to find an excuse when it comes to talking about the ultimately redundant gameplay loop that never surprises us. Not to mention the ambient chaos, messy and unreadable where the competition has managed to make it fun and epic. The idea of having up to 16 players cooperate is fun, but only on paper since in reality, it is hell. On consoles (here the PS5 version) unfortunately it does not even manage to keep up with the framerate when things get worse, which happens... all the time. The end result clearly doesn't live up to expectations, even considering the caliber of the game. This Starship Troopers Extermination even forgot to set the mood outside of the battlefield, which is a shame.- Gameblog.fr

While Deponia still remains a satisfying experience, this Switch edition is quite disappointing. Far too much expensive, as the Steam version of the game is nearly free today, it also contains some graphic or major glitches. Also, where are the sequels?- Gameblog.fr

Venture Kid tries so much to pay tribute to the old 8 bit games, starting with Mega Man, that it got lost along the way. Without any original content to show, this mobile game delivers nothing new on PC or Switch, and lacks the length or level design of the great games it constantly quotes.- Gameblog.fr

The game mechanics of the original table top game make for an odd videogame experience. But if you know the original, you will understand this take on this classic; but unfortunately, Full Control didn't really polish the game, which is full of bugs, has poor production values, and lacks content.- Gameblog.fr

It’s difficult to go after Trials Evolution. Same game system, same goals, but a good step below his rival, Urban Trial Freestyle fails to convince either graphically on a PC. Nevertheless, the concept is fun and it is possible to have a good time if we manage to forget Red Lynx’s game.- Gameblog.fr

This new PES 2014 has made efforts in its gameplay, offering freer and more realistic actions, but it disappoints on the technical side. Slowdowns in front of goal are annoying, most of the players (except the stars) are unrecognizable, the public is poorly done... In short, we are still far, far away from catching the ogre FIFA.- Gameblog.fr

Despite the beautiful promises of Jo-Mei, the solitary adventure of Kay is not strong enough to reach us in the heart: wobbly on the technical and extremely classic in its mechanics, the game still benefits from a very nice artistic direction and a very good soundtrack to float a little.- Gameblog.fr

The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners 2 is not a bad game, but a bad sequel. It's certainly entertaining and successful in many ways, but it's no different from the first game. Yes, it's a sequel directly related to the first episode, but still. The new features can be counted on the fingers of one hand and are not sufficiently marked to really add value. Except maybe the night sorties, which are fun, a bit creepy and devilishly stressful. A very honest and fun PSVR 2 game, but not essential.- Gameblog.fr

Friday The 13th has a good gameplay concept, but it still disappoints. Counselors' gameplay is quickly redundant, and embodying Jason is cool but too occasional, but above all the game seems really far from being finished, and that's quickly frustrating.- Gameblog.fr
