On the Wii, Inazuma Eleven shows a somewhat-dull gameplay, a clear lack of content, isn't deep enough, and overall, it's a disappointing adaptation of the the DS games, lacking in terms of ideas. The result is too average.- Gameblog.fr

DoA 5 comes back packing, setting itself right aside Tekken Tournament 2 with a serious effort in terms of 3D brawling, even though it doesn't match the best 2D-style fighting games. The content is a little light, unfortunately, but the fans won't be disappointed.- Gameblog.fr

Argul's Tomb (to be included in the Wii U version) packs two donjons, new enemies (even though they are but new skins on already fought 3D models). It's a little light for its price, especially considering there's no new puzzle-types, but its hour and half additional gameplay is still very much interesting to play for the fans. Too bad it's a separate campaign and not something weaved into the main one, though.- Gameblog.fr

For a Musô-inspired beat'em all, this On Piece will probably delight the fans of the manga. Visuals are top-notch in terms of cel-shaded fidelity, boss combats are epic, and the gameplay solid enough, except maybe the QTE sequences which, quite quickly, become repetitive and annoying.- Gameblog.fr

Tokyo Jungle is a weird game, but one that shows enthusiasm and passion. Its survival gameplay and scoring mechanics work well in solo play, the two player mode is less convincing. The loads of species to play introduce a very nice variety to explore.- Gameblog.fr

Mark of the Ninja is yet another gem of the Xbox Live Arcade. Deep, rich, smart and beautiful, this 2D stealth/action game never falls short compared to the major stealth titles out there. LittleBigPlanet on the Vita has the same beautiful appearance, with a reworked interface using touch controls. Those integrate decisively well both when playing the solo campaign and creating levels. Torchlight II is very similar to Torchlight (who would have guessed ?) although better in almost every way. The game balancing is incredibly good (even though it's a little too easy in the beginning), and the character progression system ought to be taught in game design schools. Overall, it remains simple and pure hack'n slash, but isn't that what the fans were expecting?- Gameblog.fr

Namco has a knack for adding stuff to its franchises without changing their core appeal, and TTT2 is no exception. For a free online TPS, Ghost Recon Future Soldier reaches a high standard. Even though Lexis went further on several fronts for this new episode of the series, it hasn't always been in the right direction... The story for instance, lacks the sense of mystery that blessed the original, and some game mechanics seem artificially harder. Once again, it's in small touches by small touches that PES makes progress, enhancing some things (a more fluid gamaeplay, more identifiable signature moves from great players), and losing others in the process (the impractical training mode, faces that are less well-modeled than before). Another episode of transition before the the complete overhaul that may induce the use of a new engine for PES 2014, PES 2013 is a good soccer game and a nice enough PES, but one that, this year again, can't measure up to the competition, namely FIFA 13.- Gameblog.fr

Almost alone on his playing field, Madden NFL 13 can take its time to make progress. Nevertheless, EA switched to the new Infinity Engine for the better, in terms of contacts, animations, and the like, even though visually, the game isn't looking any better than the previous one. The content is there, but there still is some bugs (sometimes funny ones), and it doesn't quite stand up to other sports simulations that may or may not have competition to overcome.- Gameblog.fr

This Global Offensive refreshes the Counter Strike so many gamers loved. There are some new things beyond its production values, but the gameplay is roughly the same : quite demanding by today's FPS standards. Tales Of Graces F is like previous Tales of Games, it has a theme. This time it's "to seek the strength required to protect", with the story of a kid who will try to do everything he can to absolve his past mistakes, and become strong enough to protect those he loves. Like the movie, The Expendables 2 video game is shallow, and focused on but one thing : brutal combats with millions of bullets flying. Guild Wars 2 was long-awaited; it's now out, and its gigantic amount of content and polish are undeniable. What is, though, is its "revolutionary" tag. Because it's clearly not a revolution, just one of the most comprehensive, detailed, and rich "Theme Park" MMO ever, with a welcomed focus placed upon comfort for players. What may be a revolution, though, is having this rich a game with no subscription and a decent, not forced-down-your-throat online shop.- Gameblog.fr

Visually stunning, with roughly 12 hours of gameplay, Dust remains quite spectacular, especially knowing it's the work of only two people. But after a charming start, one doesn't take long to witness a gigantic shortcoming: there's no challenge whatsoever and the heroes don't benefit from any sort of evolution over the course of the adventure. The game design thus becomes void, when all you need to do is to press four buttons continuously to finish the game.- Gameblog.fr

Throw in some lengthy load times, and what you get is a little above-average racing game, despite some nice multiplayer stuff.- Gameblog.fr

We were expecting feverishly to discover what Rocksteady had in store to draw us back in Akrham City. In the end, it feels a little too much like a reheated dish, despite the welcome presence of the Boy Wonder. It lacks surprises in terms of story or otherwise, and even the nice grim touche of the general tone isn't enough to quench the thirst we had for something a little bit newer.- Gameblog.fr

With local or online play, and StreetPass features, the multiplayer side of Mario Tennis Open rivals, at last, the one of the home console versions. Sure, the usual RPG side we had on the portable versions didn't make the cut, thus diminishing the quality of the solo mode to some extent, but the AI quality and the collection side make up for it. With accessible yet deep gameplay, Mario Tennis will appeal to all Tennis fans.- Gameblog.fr

The original question was : "is it better if we're two players?". The answer is definitely yes, but it's still quite mediocre. Prettier, much better designed than the first one, but this Episode 2 still remains a sad version of a platformer with annoying musics and dull level design.- Gameblog.fr

This is a well remastered compilation of three solid titles. They transitioned pretty well to the HD (and 3D) format, thanks to an artistic direction that didn't try to do too much at the time, with cartoony textures and models. The games themselves have the qualities and shortcomings of the originals. Nonetheless, the relevance of those games compared to the PS3 episodes may be questioned if you're not a die hard fan of the series.- Gameblog.fr

Sold at quite a reasonable price, Sorcery is a very nice little game for kids, with nice music melodies, pretty environments, and fun gameplay mechanics. The PS Move still remains somewhat imprecise sometimes (even though the game does most of the targetting for you), but the most important shortcoming of the game is probably its lack of variety.- Gameblog.fr

Ghost Recon Future Soldier offers deep gameplay, subtle tactical options, and a solid campaign, best played cooperatively with 3 other players. It's also comprehensive in terms of competitive multiplayer, and its well balanced stealth / action formula gives a near perfect pace to those who are looking for this kind of more evolved TPS.- Gameblog.fr

By looking towards the western designs, while keeping the Japanese strong points, Dragon's Dogma will make a significant contribution to the ARPG genre. Its open world, beautiful mythic creatures and chara-design, and probably the best and most spectacular combat action of the genre, it draws players into its world, even though it's far from perfect. Indeed, the story fails to drive the player forward, and the world lacks life and soul, but the ton of good little ideas, the pawn system, and the overall ambition of the title make it fun nonetheless. Enjoying it also allows us to dream of a bright future for the Japanese creators who gave birth to this unusual game for their culture.- Gameblog.fr

It's fascinating to see how The Walking Dead, as a mainly dialog-based Point & Click adventure game, manages to be more subtle than "interactive movie" productions like Heavy Rain. It's a little like if Telltale set out to produce the best possible zombie game, but with the lowest body count ever. They understood that the power of the original material of The Walking Dead was not in the undead, but in the humans.- Gameblog.fr

Blizzard had to compromise to manage the expectations of a larger audience. Diablo III still manages to remain truthful to its roots, while still increasing accessibility for newcomers. Some players might be annoyed by those revisions of the formula, but the truth is that Diablo III still is the benchmark of modern hack'n slash games we were praying to get, thanks to incredible production values, polish, sound work and content.- Gameblog.fr

Lightbox delivers a much welcome refinement of Warhawk with this greatly enhanced Starhawk. With far better production values, more content, a solo campaign, and many other improvements wrapped up in a new universe, Starhawk is great fun for online TPS lovers.- Gameblog.fr

Too bad this 360 edition doesn't include most of the refinements of the computer version. It's a port of an old beta version, but it's actually a very good one, complete with an enhanced interface, a very nice tutorial, and probably the best multiplayer of all since it's Xbox Live based and as such, very easy to use and enjoy.- Gameblog.fr

Rockstar reclaimed Max Payne in their own way, without changing its core: it's a shooter, and its main protagonist is as dark as ever. The real surprise comes from the multiplayer, one of the best third-person multiplayers we've played.- Gameblog.fr

Datura seems like your typical, interesting indie experience. But the truth is : it's as painful to play as it is unsatifying in terms of story and puzzle-solving. The two hours of puzzle solving and unbelievably slow walks in the forest are mainly spent on trying to make sense of the PS Move horrible gameplay than the game itself.- Gameblog.fr

N.O.V.A. 3 is evidently one of the prettier games on the platform. It's also a nice shell, masking the usual copy/paste habits of Gameloft, but this clear lack of real inspiration aside, it remains a fully playable, real pretty action title.- Gameblog.fr

Too light to really capture PvE fans in the long run, Tera offers, on the other hand, a new level of challenge for those who like player versus player battles, thanks to its manual "true" targeting combat. Even though there's still some major things missing (like the battlegrounds), Tera remains a solid MMO, blessed with top-notch visuals. It's only true weakness: serious competitors coming in 2012.- Gameblog.fr

Waking Mars is an original take on the puzzle game genre, where you will be required to regulate and create a balance in ecosystems. The atmosphere and Retina-friendly visuals are superb, and the concept an innovative one. Too bad the characters clearly lack charisma and the mechanics are sometime frustrating.- Gameblog.fr

This MK port is really well done. Even though characters and backgrounds have slightly less impressive visuals than on the original, the inclusion of all the DLCs, and of new mini-games taking advantage of the specs of the Vita is most welcome. If you like the universe and gameplay of MK, then there's no reason not to go for it on the Vita.- Gameblog.fr
