There are a lot of side missions and secrets to find too, as just playing through the missions for each level will only see the level with about 30% completion.

A bad thing about the enemies though is that while they do change from world to world, they are still limited with the total number of 14 enemies being seen and there also being a few types of enemies that are seen in every world.

It takes about 5 – 8 hours to beat Revenge mode, but Exhibition mode and King Of The Ring will keep you occupied for many more hours, not to mention the multiplayer possibilities.

An enjoyable thinking experience is what most will take from Bombastic, a game where rolling dice has never been so explosive or enjoyable.

As for those of you who are only keen on the Mario themed courses, keep in mind that Toadstool Tour will start off slow and you'll be playing on normal realistic-type courses to start off with.

But if you don’t mind your BMX mixed with a whole heap of fun (why wouldn’t you?) then you’ll love the game’s unique concept, giant courses and impressive graphics.

It really is storytelling at its best, without coming across too contrived at any point and opens up the bridge between watching a story, and participating in it.

It’s a great idea, but I believe all avenues of zombie-rampages have already been thoroughly exposed in many other games, not to mention the movies. Evil Dead: Fistful of Boomstick will keep you entertained for all of about 10 hours.

Ikaruga is the finest shooter I have ever played. From Space Invaders to Xevious all the way to the games spiritual predecessor Radiant Silvergun, Ikaruga is the epitome of the vertical shooter.

Chances are you’ll play this game for a maximum of 10 hours, unless you have a mate with the game as well, which could increase the gameplay value if you can put up with a slowed-down battle.

While it may seem kiddie, you do have to remember that looks can be deceiving and Yoshi's Island proves that theory well.

Mario Sunshine is utterly playable, and oozes quality. The addition of the FLUDD backpack was a wise decision, and really opens the 'fludd-gates' (sorry.) for some clever level design.

If you’ve played or owned the Dreamcast version though, there isn’t much new to do.

It is a masterpiece that will last for one to two weeks.

If you've played "Crazy Taxi" before leave Road Rage on the shelf, everyone else who isn't a Simpsons fan, should invest their money in something else because there is really only lasting appeal for the fans and even then it's cutting it close.

The GBA wasn’t designed to handle this type of game, and trying to force the matter gets you a sub par game.

Be warned however that this game will not take too long to complete and is a tad easy.

Be warned there are a few glitches in the missions when you select a different ship from the default ship, during a cutscene you'll sometimes come across the default ship instead of the ship you've chosen to play as. But, it's a small price to pay that doesn't really effect the gameplay aspects.

The short sessions ensure you grab as many pedestrians as you can, but, like an arcade game, you get bored of it quickly, and wouldn't play more than 15 minutes at a time after the novelty has worn off.

But the bug is there, so minus fifty points, because no game should be shipped in this condition. Get SFA3 instead.

Although an old game, Sunny Garcia’s Surfing can bring back some good old launch-title quality gaming goodness, and if you’re a fan of surfing games but haven’t checked this one out yet, it’s worth at least a hire.

Has a great character and car building system and the graphics are nice in places. Unfortunately the frame-rate is below average, the sound effects and music are often horrible and the racing, the biggest part of the game, has not been executed well.

A tutorial is ABSOLUTELY necessary for a game of this type, and I really am flabbergasted that there isn't one.
