If you are looking for extensive character development, careers, and complex gameplay in your sports title, then you might want to check out Top Spin 2 or some other game, but if you want to immerse yourself in the best version of pong since…well…pong, then this might just become your new favorite addiction.

Unfortunately the gameplay is linear, repetitive, and boring after the first two or three levels. The chugging graphics engine is also in need of a major overhaul before we see another DS game try to use it. Play if you must, but real console-owning X-Men fans would be better off with any other version than this.

If the GBA is the only gaming device you own, and you are craving for an X-Men game, then by all means give X-Men: The Official Game a shot. But for the rest of us, I would suggest passing on the GBA version and instead pick up one of the more impressive console versions.

With a clunky combat system, woeful A.I. and uninspiring presentation, I recommend you steer clear of this game, and just re-read the book for the 15th time. Go on-you know you want to.

Adults are not going to find much of a challenge in Garfield and His Nine Lives - but kids just might dig it as long as they have some inkling as to who this fat cat really is.

I wasn’t much a fan of episodic content before this game. I didn’t think they could include enough to warrant a $20 price tag but SiN Episodes: Emergence has gone a long way towards disproving that assumption.

NBA Ballers: Rebound is almost as good as its console cousin. I only wish the designers had actually tweaked the controls to the PSP rather than just porting the game over straight. There are so many creative moves it’s a shame you can’t access them all with any reliability.

UNO is a fantastic game perfectly suited for the Xbox 360 that will delight kids and adults, the same people who probably already play it with real cards.

Spellforce 2: Shadow Wars combines the best features of the fantasy RPG and RTS worlds, from strong character development, to massive, resource driven battles-all strewn across gorgeous landscapes. Throw in a wealth of online options-most notably cooperative play-and you have sleeper hit in the making.

As one of the few genuinely impressive movie-to-game conversions, Over the Hedge smacks of the old PlayStation and N64 Toy Story adventure games of yore – with top-notch presentation, killer graphics and solid gameplay throughout.

The game is so cliché ridden that it is not even funny like Doc’s snarl and eye patch or the theme music you have heard in about every western on TV or at the movies.

Over the Hedge is far from an impressive game, especially given its ancestry and other current versions. It is apparent that amongst the handhelds, most of the attention was given to the DS version of the game, and the GBA version was simply a cookie-cutter rehash of last year's Operation Penguin from the Madagascar camp.

With more online modes, functional interface, and voice chat, the 360 is easily the superior version. Even the PS2 and regular Xbox have voice chat. Until a major patch restores everything that is missing on the PC, GRAW is better suited as a tech demo to test next year's line-up of video cards.

Paradise looks great in the cutscenes and passable during gameplay.

When all is said and done, Top Gun – while technically impressive overall – is not really all that enjoyable or rewarding of a game. Cheap deaths and respawning enemies do not a good game make. At thirty bucks, there are so many games that might be better worth your money.

To each their own of course, but this game's developers probably could have put a bit more effort into Gallop Racer 2006 in order to make it more accessible for people who are curious, or just think the idea of a racing game with horses is cool. As someone who feels just like that, I can respect what Gallop Racer 2006 is about, but I'm a little disappointed too.

The gameplay is now as polished as a new katana and Factions adds plenty of new features to keep players engaged until a third expansion arrives sometime in the next few months.

The game's AI works very well considering all that is happening during conflicts on a scale like this. The game uses a scenario tree where the outcome of one battle affects the next in the historical mode but you can also play quicker battles in open play.
