The races are perfectly timed and even the design of the game seems geared for the PSP making OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast much better on the handheld than the major consoles.

The combat is certainly a bit repetitive, but you don't ever notice it much because it's also a lot of fun - and fun combat is key in a game about a bounty hunter.

I just think the game fails at some very small but critical facets, and as a result the game has lost some of the charm it could have had.

An extremely cool game that is full of some really amazing innovations, but ultimately ends up a victim of its own creativity.

Atelier Iris 2 just goes to show that RPG gamers are going to have to become a little more discerning with what they buy. Either that, or be happy with the occasional turd.

Heavy on action and ramping the difficulty to new heights, Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War is one of the best flight combat games you can play on the PS2.

OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast is like the unattractive girl at the high school mixer. While all the popular guys are dancing with Need For Speed and Burnout, OutRun is standing quietly in the corner waiting for that special guy who can appreciate an old-fashion good time.

Tried-and-true fans of the original will be ecstatic with Total Destruction, but the younger hardcore gamers will probably be wishing they were playing their Greatest Hits version of "Devil May Cry 3" or "God of War" for the umpteenth time.

2006 FIFA World Cup manages to capture all of that magic and recreate the pageantry of the World Cup better than any World Cup game before it.

Total Destruction's gameplay is not only a great homage to the original, it improves on it with more monsters and a greater variety of moves, plus a massive collection of unlockable content that will keep you playing for months to come.

The team at Funcom can tell one helluva story, but they still need to work on putting gameplay into the game.

Basically, if you’re into speed and blowing a lot of stuff up, you’ll enjoy this game. It also has enough ambiance and an interesting enough story to hold your interest for a while.

Halfway in between something that was rushed out the door to capitalize on the popularity of the series and a game that actually had some crafting. It’s worth the look for some mindless fun, but the price of admission is a bit high.

Whether you are looking for an action-focused single-player war game or a fantastic multiplayer experience that rivals those Tom Clancy titles, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat is a masterful bit of game design. They managed to put just enough single-player elements in to keep the game fun for the solo players while keeping everything intact for the online warriors.

Condemned: Criminal Origins combines a visceral atmosphere; both auditorily and visually, that really does a bang-up job of immersing you into the world of Ethan Thomas. However, this is not the easiest game to pick up and just play on a Sunday afternoon.

Just to clarify, Real World Golf is a tool, an electronic golf instructor with a game tacked on to let you explore and perfect the various nuances to your personal golf stance and swing. If you go into this game thinking it's the next big golf title you will be sorely disappointed.

Emergency 3 really has a lot going for it, and breathes new life into a stagnant market full of destructive gaming. Still, the nagging issues of a clunky interface, coupled with rather monotonous gameplay, may present some problems.

We get all the same great physics and real-world handling that we’ve come to expect from Polyphony Digital combined with the challenging nuances of racing on two wheel instead of four.

The only thing that was holding this game back was its limitations put upon it by having to follow an established movie. Even so, the designers managed to get all of the Bond trademarks into this game.

This is a tough recommendation because you have a really great start and a really great ending, but there is this mess in the middle I don’t want anybody to endure unless you are a glutton for puzzle punishment or don’t mind using the built-in hint system.

Whatever redeeming qualities Kao 2 might have, there is still no excuse for making a game that punishes the player for things beyond the player's control.

Even if you have already played Instincts on the Xbox I can’t encourage you enough to check out the 360 version of Far Cry. The graphical improvements are simply outstanding, especially on an HDTV, and easily approach the quality of the original PC game.

The Attack of Opportunity are so botched that you won’t even bother with them and the Changeling, while cool in concept, is not integrated or balanced, so that your primary character will quickly outclass the beast form.
