What a shocker. A licensed movie tie-in – based on a relatively unknown property no less – that actually ended up being fun and entertaining for the whole family.

This was definitely a labor of love and it shows in the quality of the presentation and the attention to detail in every subtle nuance of the characters, their powers, and the way it all comes together in the gameplay.

The Spiderwick Chronicles is a game that closely follows the story from the feature film and is about average.

There are some cool concepts here and I respect the designers for trying something new, but there just needs to be more varied and balanced gameplay.

A lot like a mediocre sci-fi novel. It has a great atmosphere, some fascinating and innovative tech stuff but flat characters and a mundane storyline that ultimately kill its potential.

I loved every second spent playing this game except for the final boss. I loved the backgrounds, character unlocks, voices, story line, and upgrade possibilities.

If you enjoy GRAW, Modern Warfare II, or any other quality FPS for that matter, then give this game a shot.

The one factor that I love about this type of game is that you can either let the time lapse as normal (although I don’t think this is best) or you can speed it up a little so the unexpected can creep up and surprise you.

Having had no other experience with big rig trucking simulators, I can't say how Rig'n'Roll compares to its competitors, but it seems to run fairly smoothly and accomplish what it sets out to do as a truck-driving and trucking business simulator.

Definitely the best (if only) fighting game thus far on the Wii, and fans of the television series are bound to enjoy duking it out onscreen with their favorite characters.

Don't waste your time with the Order of the Phoenix unless you just can't get enough Harry Potter, no matter how low the quality.

The biggest thing lacking though is structure. There are no tournaments or event series for you to compete in. Every race is a single race and it just gets so boring to the casual race fan. All of these annoying gameplay issues plus the horrible so-called HD graphics really makes it hard for me to recommend this game to any but the most faithful fans of the franchise. There are brief moments of fun, but with all the other racing games out there you might want to look at one of those before buying or even renting this one.

Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest is one of the smash hits of the holiday season, not just for Move but for family gaming in general. If you haven't added a PS Move to your PS3 then this might be the game to push you over the edge. Whether you buy the game as part of the hardware bundle or just pick-up the title by itself, you definitely want to add this game to your collection. I haven't had this much fun with my PS Move in a long time.

For fans of Dynasty Warriors, you’ll be in heaven, but if you are looking for tactics, strategy, story, or even a game that makes sense, you’ll probably want to look somewhere else.

In some ways, Future Tactics' simplicity helps it a great deal. In others, more attention to detail (especially weapons and armor systems) is sorely needed.

It'll probably get a bit boring after a few levels, but as far as a game to pop in and play to pass the time goes... well, it works.

Starts off strong with a great story, flawless controls, and some initially impressive graphics, but the more you play the more the graphics start to reveal their flaws, as does the gameplay, when AI glitches and environmental bugs start to pop up and ruin the experience.

Frogger is quick and fun, pick up and play arcade action at it’s best. Got 5 minutes to kill, this game can help you with that.

Shaun should probably stick to the snow for future games.

Anyone older or more experienced will probably scoff at the two attack buttons and lack of sophisticated combos, but there is an inherent charm about morphing into powerful beasties and fighting with claws that just can’t be denied.

Taken as a whole, Lethal Alliance lacks that variety required to keep a game engaging from start to finish.

No technical marvel, it’s incredibly easy, the graphics are only so-so, it ends far too soon, and there’s no reason to ever play it again once you’re finished. That said, if you’re a fan of the previous Scooby-Doo games, you’ll like this one too.

Superior graphics are almost enough to balance out the twitchy controls, but the entertaining multiplayer seals the deal for the PSP.

In the end, the game is a wash and quite forgettable. You’ll enjoy some moments as you play but won’t remember them the next day.

A unique game for a unique type of gamer. If offers a challenging blend of real-time tactics in a 3D action setting reminiscent of "Diablo" and set in the energized world of televised sports and live audiences.

Rather disappointing. A lot of the strategic edge has been stripped away from the gameplay and there is no new content or bonus features to entice PC gamers to reinvest in a new copy.
