If you liked any part of the original Crysis the expansions Warhead and Wars will be well worth the cost as the game is about the best looking one around.

Armored Core: For Answer could have been a great game with a bit more terrain variations or something that added to the gameplay, but this is not the best mech game out there and your should probably rent instead of buying.

In the end, if you are reading this review, you’re probably curious about the game because you’re a fan of the website. If you like Homestar Runner and Strong Bad and the Cheat and so on and so forth, there is no reason why you should not get this game. You’ll love it, trust me.

Perfectly constructed.

The addition of a few original dance tracks by artists other than those commissioned by Konami is a welcome touch, and the option to play as a Mii doesn't hurt anything, even if it isn't all that exciting in practice.

The bundle MSRP of $50 is surprisingly cheap in my opinion, but still not chump change. I mean, spending $50 on something you don’t particularly care for is a bummer, but spending $50 on something you don’t care for and having a bulky dance mat left over taking up precious space is even worse.

It’s not a bad expansion but it could have been better. I found the park to be too small and compact. It was way too easy to explore the entire park in just a few hours leaving me with nothing to do but exploit the marvelous physics engine and try to find the unexpected.

At its core, RocketBowl is a unique and potentially delightful mini-game. Unfortunately, much like the balls and lanes at a cheap alley, the end result could use more polish.

Competition has pushed EA this far and quite honestly they have just about buried 2K in the snow.

I expect there are a lot of former 2K Hockey fans running to their local used game store to turn NHL 2K9 in for EA's NHL 09... well, in Canada anyway. 2K had such a great product. How could they have possibly made such a huge mess of such a great series?

Will Wright has raised the bar and any game that comes out now that wants to be remembered will need to consider the lessons taught by Spore.

What we get is a boring cartoon button masher which quite honestly should have come out on Xbox Live instead of a $50 disc.

The game tries to be both a roleplaying and strategy game but really doesn't pull either off.

GTR Evolution is a great racing simulator that is very realistic and a great game with all the right features and realism you could ask for. GTR Evolution has tracks made from real world sites and plenty of real cars for an overall well made game.

While the games action and explosive atmosphere are fun to behold the repetitive nature of the missions and mainly the glitches keep happening so repeatedly that enjoyment is fleeting.

Mercenaries 2: World in Flames certainly lives up to its name. It's as if Pandemic made a game just to show of “hey look at the cool explosions we can do!” It's too bad the AI and graphical glitches bring such a promising game to a frustrating halt.

Don’t even bother to get this, the average rating for this game is above 50 percent from all the reviews and mine won’t make it any better. The game is not really up to a standard that would make it playable unless you just don’t care much about graphics.

The Last Guy is a fun and quirky title that took me by total surprise. It has the look of a next-gen title with all of the gameplay and audio elements of something you might have played on your Atari 2600.

All in all, I rather enjoyed Outcry. I am a fan of these types of titles and Outcry is one of the best adventure titles that I’ve ever played in recent history.

All in all, Fading Shadows is a welcome albeit modified blast from the past.

Tales of Vesperia may not be a perfect title or receive a perfect score, but it’s fun, engaging and everything I really want in an RPG.

There are numerous new additions and enhancements, and while features like the Game Face continue to disappoint, others like the GamerNet Challenges, Performance Coach, and Club Tuner really elevate the experience and add a whole new level of realism and immersion into the Tiger Woods franchise.

At the end of a very long demonic road, I was fairly impressed with Disgaea 3.

With how difficult the game is to judge corners and the lack of realistic racing like the consoles, Ferrari Challenge is not a really great game; merely a decent one.

If you played and liked most or all of the previous seven expansions for The Sims 2, you’ll probably like Apartment Life just fine.

Gamers, especially young gamers, who like Sims, enjoy playing with digital pets, and don’t mind repetition might still enjoy this one, though.

I highly enjoyed the story of Murder in the Abbey. It was well written and the dialogue is pretty good and the graphic blending of cel-shading, 2D and 3D graphics really make this title stand out from the rest of the crowd.

Tank Universal is a great throwback to VR, TRON, Battlezone, and just plain old-school gaming full of action and strategy.

When the game was over I have to admit I wanted more, but not because I felt cheated; only because I had had such a great time I didn’t want it to end so soon.

The gameplay is mediocre at best and the camera is far from acceptable. The graphics are choppy and the animation lags. Although the Escape 2 Africa lacks quality it can provided a minor distraction while on a lunch break or between classes.

Once again this year is far better than last year with better online play, your Madden IQ, and if you want to practice before you play the big boys online; you can play a game and use the rewind to help develop your gamer eye.

If you are looking for a portable version of the PS3 or 360 versions of Madden 09, you are going to be sorely disappointed. Madden NFL 09 on the PSP is a good game with its share of oversights and flaws. But it is the only NFL game on the PSP.

If you like Homestar Runner and Strong Bad and the Cheat and so on and so forth, there is no reason why you should not get this game. You’ll love it, trust me.

But I do think that there are a lot of gamers out there, especially kids, who will have a blast with Little League World Series 2008.

The combination of great AI, a clean user interface, and an intuitive control scheme really makes Little League World Series 2008 enjoyable – much more so in fact than the recent Wii release of the same game.

Great visual style, great audio soundtrack, great gameplay, and great technical add-ins make PixelJunk Eden is the best ten dollars that gamers can spend on their PS3 this year.

I am sure you will fall in love.

Soul Calibur IV is the ultimate evolution of the franchise to date, with gorgeous visuals, solid controls, immersive sound, and a deep character builder that will keep you involved with this game for months to come.

As I have stated before I am a huge Mortal Kombat fan and was not excited at all about reviewing this game. After playing for about an hour I quickly forgot about my feelings and become a huge fan.

For hardcore baseball simulation fans, I have no problem recommending MLB Power Pros 2008 – but for families looking for an extension of Nintendo’s incredible Wii Sports, I would recommend looking towards titles like Little League World Series 2008 or Mario Super Sluggers that fully embrace the Wii’s model and functionality.

Quite possibly the scariest and most unnerving game I’ve ever played.

The new Revenge of the Plague Lord expansion pretty much safely secures Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords in my top 5 Xbox 360 LIVE Arcade Titles List.

And while Order Up! is undoubtedly going to have a tough time going up against the upcoming Cooking Mama 2: World Kitchen, the fact that it comes at a bargain price should attract more than a few gamers to its tasty gameplay.

After spending several weeks playing NCAA Football 09, I continue to be amazed by the graphical improvements.

While I ultimately had fun with Golf: Tee It Up! it just seemed that it required too much effort to enjoy.

And even though I still have no desire to play Civilization on the PC, Civilization Revolution has become one of my favorite 360 games of the year.

As the glut of new consumers begins to wise up to the ways of the gaming world and the profit potential for a critically panned game starts dropping, such games will likely fade out a little bit. For now, keep checking reviews and making informed decisions about the games you purchase--or you may well end up throwing away $30.00 of hard-earned money on a game like Wonder World Amusement Park, and that would be a shame.

Unreal Tournament III is about pure adrenalin and blazing reflexes and nothing can touch UT3 for experiencing both in classic shooter fashion online or going solo.

At the end of my adventure, I found The Immortals of Terra to be a highly enjoyably title. While I may not have had a real connection to the main character, I came off with a better understanding of why the Perryverse has lasted this long.

As an average Guitar Hero player I did enjoy the more relaxed note streams, easier gameplay, and the substantial ego boost of actually finishing a half-dozen songs on Expert level.

And as a huge Aerosmith fan, I certainly enjoyed having most of my favorite songs compiled into a single game, but ultimately this game is nothing more than a tribute to Aerosmith and you had better be a big fan if you want to play, otherwise, save your cash and spend it on song downloads you really like.

In the end, this is just another Guitar Hero game with a little more specific focus. That’s all there is to it.

I am by no means the ideal Guitar Hero player so I enjoyed the less rigorous songs that this version offers thanks to Joe Perry’s repetitive riffs.

This is old-school gaming at its very best and I couldn’t be happier for the trip down memory lane.

I flat out love this game. The XBLA version of Ticket to Ride is faithful to the original. It’s actually better.

I was a little disappointed with the length of the game. It was about an hour too short.

WALL-E on the PlayStation 3 is about the best out of the three versions I reviewed and may be worth buying. If you want a decent game that has the sections of multiplayer that younger ones can easily have fun with and a few hours of WALL-E trash gathering or EVE flying this is worth it.

WALL-E is a very repetitive platform game that does not make for a good one on the Wii system with its inherent lack of camera control and just repetitive puzzles.

WALL-E on the Nintendo DS would be a fine game to rent but you may want to think it over before purchasing, you would really have to love either WALL-E or repetitive puzzle solving to own it.

Too bad a game this boring and frustrating ever saw the light of day.

A great diversion for everyday games – but the lengthy storyline and unlockables are ultimately only going to appeal to die-hard fans of the series.

Overlord: Raising Hell is not the worst game of this ilk, but it surely does not match the work of Molyneux’s famed Fable for the Xbox, nor does it approach the work of the PS3 exclusive Heavenly Sword.

The game mechanics haven’t changed from the previous game, but the added Bake mode and all the added upgrades make this title even better than the original game.

After a tour of duty in B-Company you might be ruined for all your previous war games, and if future games don’t allow you to blast apart the levels, brick by brick how can they hope to compare.

The PS3 version of Battlefield: Bad Company may not be the best looking game on the console but it is very good with a fantastic audio.

Again, I’m just a casual tennis player and not a sim-enthusiast, but as a game, a tennis game, Top Spin 3 is one of the worst I’ve played. Sorry 2K…better luck next year.

What impressed me the most was the quality of the music. While not as pristine as you'll hear on a Dolby Digital console, the DS boasts some impressive quality, and if you pipe it through a home stereo (or a Thunderbox Amp) you can really punch up the bass and immerse yourself in the concert experience.

For those of you who have heard of the show, but never seen it then this title maybe worth the 30 bucks. For those that have placed the previous title or those not fans of RPGs you should hold off until this title drops $10 dollars or at least rent it first before you buy it.

Crazy Machines 2 is a great game and a fun way to spend some time relaxing and puzzling through a few obstacles on the wall. Crazy Machines 2 also has a great fan based puzzle download section so there is plenty to do after you complete the levels of the career mode in building your own or puzzling through other peoples crazy machines.

But for those looking to hone their high-speed racing and combat skills in the great outdoors, Fatal Inertia EX is a great place to race.

A pleasant surprise.

Wacky Races: Crash & Dash is not very well put together and suffers from lackluster gameplay.

I am sure the game will sell well based on game recognition alone, but as it stands Deadliest Catch nowhere near captures the excitement or intensity of the Discovery Channel series.

Clank might not be as wacky as Dax, but he certainly looks better in a tux and his mastery of the English language as well as an insane arsenal of weapons and gadgets definitely puts him up their with the best of the secret agents.

Every aspect of the game – from the comprehensible storyline to the updated controls, from the white-knuckle character battles to the lengthy cutscenes – it all exudes a certain air of quality.

To pass it up in favor of something less original would be a crying shame.

In my opinion, the only reason to buy this game is if you have played all the way through Fight Night and you’re just itching for a new boxing title.

Though its charmingly innocent and brightly colored visuals (and its status as a Toys“R”Us exclusive title) may suggest that it’s just another boring kiddy game, don’t be fooled into passing this up.

The gameplay is bland and mercilessly repetitive, the cars and their AI drivers are all the same except for the paint, country music saturates every free moment, and Jeff Gordon has flames on his sleeves.

Yes there are a lot of features that really make this game fun and interesting but there are a lot of other racing games that will hold your interest longer and are more entertaining.

This isn’t much of a Looney Tunes game as you are only conducting music. You may want to wait for this to drop even lower than its $19.99 price value if you must get it. I’d vouch for another music game, though.

While there definitely are better shooters on the market (especially in the XBLA exclusive camp) Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 is a very solid shooter that is every bit worth the $10 price tag.

If you are a fan of shooters and are tired of getting your butt stomped in Ikaruga, then give Aces of the Galaxy a try.

Sadly, the shooting elements of the game are implemented rather poorly with the exception of shooting takedowns, and the driving game stuck in the middle is out of place and not that much fun, but you know they just had to try - it was such a huge part of the movie.

As stated numerous times before, The Bourne Conspiracy is extremely repetitive. You have a great length and well worth the price in that category but I really don’t see the average player finishing this game due to doing the same thing over and over again.

The single-player campaign in GRID is definitely worth a test drive. Multiplayer has its moments, but you could skip over it without missing much.

The story was fresh, funny, and original, the characters where delightfully designed and animated, and professional voiced, and the entire game was a pure delight to play from start to finish. I'm already well on my way through my second pass as I aspire to become a Master Ninja.

Other than the horrible fiasco with the graphics it is hard not to tell everyone to get this game right now.

If it were not for the poor controls, worse camera, and myriad technical guffaws it might have been an OK game. Some of the ideas are cool, but the execution is definitely not.

Kung Fu Panda may not be a long lasting game but it adds some unique platforming with button mashing fighting and plenty of well done graphics and great audio. Kung Fu Panda for the PS2 is well worth the effort and even for a platformer and button masher well worth the cost.

Kung Fu Panda for the PC is my choice for the button mashing fun as Po the Panda but I am a PC gamer at heart and am quite used to the mouse and keyboard control scheme.

A technically flawless game with lightning fast load times that allow you to play a round of golf in minutes rather than hours, making this the perfect title for the gamer on the go who needs to play in short spurts.

If you don’t mind the interface design flaws, USA Today Crossword Challenge really isn’t so bad for its purpose. And, if you love crossword puzzles and can overlook those navigation and design quirks that I found so irritating, then please don’t mind the low rating; that’s just my personal taste and demanding gamer mentality speaking.
