There's something almost absurd about paying for a game that inundates you with a constant stream of ads.

The multiplayer modes are adequate, though fairly superficial. Even kids will have problems making it through the single-player element simply to unlock characters and skins.

While the outdoor and indoor locales making up the game’s 15 stages are beautiful to behold, they are limiting in what you can and cannot do, which is disappointing.

Undeniably fun. It’s also incredibly derivative and still, after three tries, flawed.

Optional chapters, multiple endings, and being able to replay stages amount to a game that's certainly lengthy, but they multiply an already great repetition factor. If you're willing to sacrifice depth of gameplay for depth of story, you may find that Drakengard is a worthwhile purchase.

The fast-paced weaving through the streets of two different cities holds a wealth of interesting gameplay. While there's nothing new or innovative here, MM3 offers easy playability with plenty to do.

For those of you who haven't played the original Dungeon Siege, it's included with this expansion pack for free. This is a tremendous value. For pure monster-hacking goodness, it's really hard to beat Dungeon Siege.

The game’s casual, do-what-you-want approach makes it a safe bet for anyone who’s looking for a few hours of rude racing fun.

While Vietcong 2 isn’t a bad shooter by any means, it’s just not a particularly good one.

The environments are large, and while this is good for gameplay, it puts a strain on the graphics engine. Frequent fits of slowdown occur in the multiplayer mode if the screen is covered with too much activity.

Conquest hits the same beats that we’ve hit over and over again in previous titles. It’s not that they don’t hit them well, but they hit the exact beats we’ve come to expect from a Lord of the Rings title.

There’s no doubt that fans of 2D action will love this difficult quest, but if you weren’t into side scrollers before, it seems unlikely that anything here will change your mind.

The Secret World has too many problems to function...After playing the game for over a month I haven't seen any serious signs of improvement. Quests remain buggy, graphics suffer and the core of the game is still as obnoxious as ever.

Fable: The Journey is a great idea, but when it doesn't work most of the time, it'll quickly frustrate you and remind you of the worst Kinect experiences.

An engaging story and creepy locales simply aren't enough to overcome terribly clunky combat and technical flaws in the latest entry in Konami's venerable survival horror series. Silent Hill: Downpour's developers may have taken the series in a new direction, but that doesn't mean they should have.

Nothing more than a second-rate shooter. It's obvious that the developer has talent, but it should have focused its skills more on gameplay than on presentation.

Even with such an elegant combat system, however, Reckoning does not know how to indulge it. The actual combat scenarios themselves are painfully pedantic and lose any surprise after the first few hours of play.

I wouldn't say that Tokyo Jungle is a must play title by any means, but for just $15 I'd say it's almost worth it just to play one of the strangest games the PSN has to offer.

With a killer soundtrack and deep metal influences, Army Corps of Hell brings a barren action-strategy genre to the PlayStation Vita, but does so in a way that would make even the hellish of characters bored.

There are tons of great ideas here, and when your breathlessly pulling yourself up the side of a skyscraper or picking off a would-be rapist with an arrow to the skull you see those great ideas peeking through, but they never come together in any cohesive way. In the end, the game feels more like a proof of concept experience than an actual game.

Worst of all, it's difficult in a way that feels like the game is cheating you through broken mechanics somehow, and that isn't fun for anyone.

The biggest disappointment is that the most cohesive and entertaining portion of the campaign isn't experienced until the last three chapters. In a game that spans 13 chapters, the "just wait, it gets better" excuse just doesn't cut it. It's also worth mentioning that an earlier chapter is designed to take less than a minute to beat.

It feels like every single car in the game is driving around on bald tires. No matter what you do, you’ll be sliding off the road.

Lacking in virtually every area. The graphics are terrible, the controls are clunky, and the gameplay is uninspired.

Even the most hardcore DBZ fans will feel ripped off if they purchase Dragon Ball Z: Sagas, and non-rabid fans will be angry to the point of violence.

Tactics isn't unplayable--especially in multiplayer mode--and it has some decent play mechanics. But it's all overshadowed by the poor production value. It feels like a waste of the source material.

The action and violence are satisfying enough to make the game marginally recommendable, but only barely. Add in the complete lack of any multiplayer options, a terrible ending, and Clive Barker’s Jericho feels like a game where the good parts are overwhelmed by the shortcomings.

This is a simply another lame attempt to attract young fans and unknowing parents to buy something based on the license. Rise of the Silver Surfer has all the gameplay value of a bad Streets of Rage clone.
