Gamers are now faced with the prospect of realistically committing a generous chunk of change to a series over a period of time if they have any hope of experiencing the “complete story.” In our minds, the quality of SiN: Emergence in no way warrants a 20-dollar price tag.

It's a shame, because this game, while merely good, does hint at the possibility of a truly great RPG, given another development cycle or two.

While the level of exploration and interaction is nowhere near the quality of later games in "The Legend of Zelda" series, Radiata Stories offers several genuinely humorous moments, a colorful world, and a cast of characters that stick with you long after you’ve powered down the PS2.
