This third chapter pales out, however, due to the absence of the 3D effect and multiplayer mode and comparatively, it offers less content than the other titles of the series. It still provides a good basis to explore some groundbreaking NES games, but it could certainly use more ambition.- FNintendo

Adventure Bar Story may not seem like a monumentally ambitious title but it strikes a good balance between an RPG and a management simulation. It’s also rather fun to prepare meals and while some tasks may become too repetitive, it’s still an addictive experience.- FNintendo

Daemon X Machina is an edgy and well designed work that puts the player at the centre of a detailed experience, where mission planning, strategy and customization make a major contribution towards building this into more than a mere action game. If the plot is not its greatest asset, the overall experience is fun and involving and anyone who enjoys action with strategic planning will find a very satisfying time around Daemon X Machina.- FNintendo

For parties with musical entertainment, Wii Karaoke U is a choice to consider. Its varied and enormous repertoire is sure to please any music fan and its control system makes a good use of the Wii U GamePad, which helps in overlooking a number of mistakes on the classification of the songs.- FNintendo

Automachef is about managing resources and handling several objectives at the same time. For players who can take on such an exercise and who enjoy this kind of challenge, Automachef will be very welcome experience whereas for players looking for a simpler experience this will be an excessively complicated effort.- FNintendo

Despite its similarities with Arkham City - Armoured Edition, this Arkham Origins ends up on a lower threshold. Its hints of innovation don't go as far as they seem to promise and the lack of a multiplayer component is simply impossible to understand. A higher degree of ambition would have worked much better for Arkham Origins.- FNintendo

Squids Odyssey is a fun, addictive and extremely challenging turn-based RPG with an action twist. Its difficulty level can prove merciless for those less willing to invest their time and energy, but the rewards are more than welcome in this well-designed and well-crafted piece of work.- FNintendo

Mercenaries Saga Chronicles brings a compilation of the first three games of the series to the Nintendo Switch and as far as tactical RPGs are concerned, they present an interesting and enjoyable gameplay with plenty of variety amidst the characters. Unfortunately the game does not leave its comfort zone and does not introduce any new elements that could make it stand out among its peers, with the aggravating factor that its plot is simply not compelling enough to command any interest among the players.- FNintendo

The rollercoaster genre hasn't stood out in the last 9 years and it's not Coaster Creator 3D that will change the way things are looking. While the roller coaster editor is very varied and ambitious, the game is not properly constructed and all its (older) PC counterparts are still more attractive options for anyone looking to build and ride roller coasters.- FNintendo

Costume Quest 2 starts on the right foot and quickly puts the player at the centre of a light-hearted narrative along with the colourful displays that adds an immediate appeal. As the adventure goes on, however, expectations start to fade as the game becomes too repetitive. Its challenges become less compelling and customization options too limited which goes against what a solid RPG should stand for.- FNintendo

While the puzzles are certainly interesting and the level editor is an added value, there's very little to add to the experience and this ends up looking like an uninteresting effort when compared to the original.- FNintendo

Q.U.B.E. Director’s Cut may have its flaws but they don’t stand in the way of a game with well-designed challenges and a simple but compelling narrative. Each puzzle solved gives the player a unique feeling of satisfaction and an incentive to stride forward.- FNintendo

With an emphasis on local multiplayer up to four people, this is an experience that will deliver a lot of fun, addictive gameplay to those who pick it up. While its content could be broader and the soundtrack could use improvements, Bubble Bobble 4 Friends is nevertheless a good choice for those looking for a compelling multiplayer experience.- FNintendo

Heroki is not the most innovative game ever made but that does not stand on its way from being a fun and entertaining 2D platform experience. While it still keeps many of the traits of a mobile game, Hiroki's accessible and simple control system, as well as its level design and collectibles that keep the player interested will help make this another enjoyable experience in the Nintendo Switch.- FNintendo

The LEGO Movie Videogame delivers what is expected: a good movie-to-game conversion, plenty of the series' trademark humour and a top notch soundtrack. That being said, several flaws remain, such as the lack of an online multiplayer, a low difficulty level and a short lifespan, liabilities which stand in the way of making this a universally-appealing title.- FNintendo

FIFA 18 on the Nintendo Switch is a mixed blessing. It works like a charm on handheld mode and in this regard, it's the best FIFA game ever released on a Nintendo platform...but its technical limitations and lack of content compared to the other versions of the same game make it seem like it could have gone much further. A particularly disappointing element is the lack of online play against friends, whose absence is impossible to understand.- FNintendo

It's undeniable that Wii Sports Club is a clear improvement over the original, with its improved graphics, precise controls and online multiplayer mode. In spite of this, Nintendo could have taken a bigger risk, by developing a true sequel to Wii Sports. As it is, one has to wonder if its price isn't a bit excessive for what it offers.- FNintendo

Mario Party: Star Rush displays the series' evolution within its standards. Adding a needed innovation in the form of free movement across the game boards, the latest installment of Mario Party brings its usual mix of multiplayer frenzy and competition for coins and stars. As before, this is not the most indicated game for those who stick with mostly solo experiences but anyone with a group of friends will not come out disappointed.- FNintendo

Dreamals is a surprisingly fun and addictive head-scratching platformer, riddled with puzzles that will keep the players captivated for the length of its eighty levels. It falls short of expectations on its visual and sound environments, nevertheless, as it could certainly use a more stable framerate and a more varied soundtrack, not to mention some interaction with the Wii U GamePad but fans of puzzling platformers will find reasons to enjoy Dreamals.- FNintendo

Black The Fall is an entertaining action game with puzzle solving that features a gloomy, somber background as the player has to escape an oppressive regime. While its puzzles and art style are to praise, the game feels too repetitive at times and its lifespan can get too short, not to mention that the lack of music harms the overall environment.- FNintendo

Yesterday Origins has the rather unusual task of bringing a point and click adventure game to the Nintendo Switch eShop...and it works, as this is a fully enjoyable game that features a short but interesting plot, with some very good dialogue lines, a well adapted control scheme and a top notch audiovisual environment. The game may not be up everyone's alley, as its slow pace may put some players off but this is a successful and interesting game of an unusual genre in consoles that is well worth of the players' attention.- FNintendo

Mana Spark deserves to be treated as more than "just" an indie game. Its combats and tactical RPG elements, as well as its very alluring pixel art style and tough difficulty level put it on a threshold that will make veteran players feel the right amount of challenge, while perhaps alienating some of those who are less experienced. A game that will be appreciated by all those who enjoy a good challenge.- FNintendo

Bow to Blood: Last Captain Standing is an interesting work that joins an action-based gameplay with roguelike components and some strategic decision-making as well for an experience that is ambitious but which does not quite fulfill itself entirely on this Nintendo Switch version.- FNintendo

While there are some improvements over the original, and including an online multiplayer is worthy of praise, too little was made to bring the game to our day and age. As such, there are many elements that clearly belong to the day of the original release, as well as to another format and which don't fit with the expectations of players, namely its controls and performance.- FNintendo

It's always good to have more puzzles and E4 delivers on that front, but leveling difficulty by the bottom will disappoint the veterans, along with the return of the Micross mode. A positive mention, though, for Picross' equivalent of a fidelity program and its rewards on the 3DS.- FNintendo

Clusterpuck 99 is a fun and amusing mix of genres that makes use of simple and intuitive controls, a multiplayer component able to handle up to eight players and a competent AI to bring an experience that can certainly make for some fun hours around a Nintendo Switch, despite its lack of online play and a rather short lifespan when played solo.- FNintendo
