Disgaea 2 is a perfect Tactical RPG, and arrives on PSP with some new interesting twists.

Without some issues ColorZ could have been a much better game. The single game experience suffers from a clunky control scheme, yet the multiplayer mode is quite rewarding in terms of fun. An advisable purchase for those who have friends to play with; others should spend their precious 700 Wii Points in other ways.

Contra Rebirth doesn’t represent a revolution in the actual gaming scene. Just because it doesn’t care at all. Contra is here, with its destruction, challenging gameplay and devastating fun: perfect for those who can appreciate it, the others could as well seek for something else, but not without knowing that they’re throwing away an option to see how much fun a good game can deliver.

Just a Quake Wars clone, with a design too similar to Halo series to impress players. Creepy graphics and some issues with the control system.

A perfect porting of the console version. Unfortunately, the absence of online multiplayer option and a poor single player affect the game.

Cursed Mountain is surely a title which stands out from the crowd. It’s not properly a survival horror, as in some ways it’s more a voyage through the ancient heights of the Himalaya, with the millenarian Tibetan culture as a rich framework. In terms of gameplay the combat system is fun and the controller’s motion sensor are well used and give a contribute to the title’s variety. The only faults are the non responsive controls and some plot elements which are not explained in an exhaustive way.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is simply the best action game of 2009. Rocksteady Studios Production features an outstanding gameplay, a mature and involving storytelling and an astonishing graphic. It's a Must Buy without compromise.

One of the best Psp exclusives. Fresh, deep, suitable for quick play or intense game sessions. Beat'em up mechanics works well, and the rpg aspect add variety and strategical issues. Almost perfect, artistically and technically speaking too.

Wii-Owners can't miss the chance to buy three glorious masterpieces in a single hit.

The same old formula works well, even if the plot and the setting are not catchy as the Curious Village's ones.

A solid traditional shooter, with many references to the great 2d Arcades from the past. Funny, quick and solid.

Wolfenstein is a good game even without excel in gameplay or graphics or story telling. The single player was impressive (long, funny) but the multiplayer lacks in quality and gives real satisfactions only to old fans of the brand.

Gameplay mechanic will make you go mad, while the ugly graphics will remind you of the past generation low budget arcades.

Repetitious, boring and grey. One of the worst FPS for Nintendo DS.

The folks at Over The Top Games gave life to a good (yet not very original) idea, using mythology to create a good and solid platform. Maybe it had been better to use an open structure, and not levels, but NyxQuest is surely one of the better games available on WiiWare. And they seem to be a lot.

G.I.Joe: Rise of the Cobra is one of the worst games ever seen during this generation, with ugly graphic and sound and an insubstantial gameplay.

Some issues with the netcode and a short list of gamemodes are the main problems of this game. Nice graphic and excellent style make Fat Princess a nice guest of the PSN.

Thinking positive The King Of Fighters XII is the first, timid, step of SNK in the next generation and ony a launch platform for a better future. Despite that the game offers really poor game modes, bugged online playing and the worst graphic design of this generation.

A new instant classic. Arkanoid with a modern physic engine that add cool ingredients to the game formula. The graphics are shiny and the concept is brilliant.

A strange platform, that clearly shows how in 2009 is still possible to make a really funny game in which you have to press only one button, with the right timing.

Little King's Story is, simply, a masterpiece.
