For those who are not familiar with football, it won't be easy to learn the basics, but there's a ton of fun to be had for everyone else.

There's almost everything you liked (or dislike) from its predecessor, and that could be a selling point for some, or a drawback for others. In the end, it's a very well crafted more of the same, where the change in the setting delivers some interesting landscapes and cultural aspects in the narrative.

A good stand alone DLC, that can add interesting aspects to the saga's gameplay. The absence of new units is a shame, but fans of Company of Heroes should really consider this add on.

It makes the gamer think about rules and limits of the virtual world, and that's an interesting thing, but in doing so it doesn't succeed in delivering a memorable experience, probably due to a rushed development.
    • 62 Metascore

There's a lot of content that won't disappoint the fanbase, but the combat system feels too slow and still old gen when you look at the animations, and the historic rivalries miss some important steps.

It's the perfect ending for the first chapter of this original product. There have been ups and downs in the narrative and in the gameplay's balancing, but it the end it stands out as an innovative take on mixing ebooks and RPG.

The gameplay formula is indeed interesting, but the repetitive minigames and the lack of general content don't fully support the good ideas.

It's a great package, offered for the right price. Fans of the game should buy and don't look back.

If you take into consideration the single player campaigns and those alone, then what you get is a wonderful remaster, one of the best ever done on a famous brand. On the other side, if you're interested in the online (as you probably will be), just know that the current issues won't let you enjoy any of it,and that's not just an enormous issue, but an unforgivable misstep as well.

Western tastes won't have an easy time connecting to this typically eastern product. In the end, it's more a visual novel than a truly interactive game, and that calls for very specific tastes.
    • tbd Metascore
    • 65 Critic Score
There's more fun to be had in the extras than in the main campaign, and that's a big issue for what this game has to offer.

Despite the great expectations, it all ends in a predictable collection of mini games, sold at a way too expensive price.
    • 79 Metascore
    • 70 Critic Score
In the end, given the lack of content, it's more a tool than a fully accomplished game. And that's a shame, because the new focus on platforming would've been really welcome if supported with more levels from the devs.

    • 75 Critic Score
The narrative wants to be mature, but that can't come easy without a proper work on the characters, which feel somehow too flat to really emerge. Truly a shame, since the game loses its most powerful aspect, namely the dark atmosphere, and sometimes become just another survival with a management aspect.

It's a game dedicated to fans, and it doesn't show any interest in bringing in newcomers. Despite that, players that loved the previous chapters will find here countless hours of epic fights.

It's one of those games that you'll enjoy only if you can appreciate the art behind the gameplay, as the latter doesn't have much to offer.

Mixing RPG and pinball is a risk, or a crazy thing, or a bit of both. If you love pinballin', this might still be worth a try.

The absence of important licenses can be a big drawback for some, but there's no doubt about the great comeback PES has achieved this year, especially in gameplay and AI terms.

A big misstep on the path to the second Dead Island chapter. Developer Fatshark clearly rushed things, to the point where there are really few reasons to play this spin off.

There's fun to be had with this arcade racing, but the controls don't always deliver, and there are some serious issues with the camera.

A nice repack, preserving good things and defects of the original, namely the interesting weapons and quests, and the sometimes lame combat system on the other hand.

An incredible remaster. Graphics gain more quality and polish, and the first person view is a good enough reason to play it all over again.

It's a game that you've basically already played, by the name of Black Flag. That doesn't mean everything is to despise in this more of the same, namely a lot of gameplay content, some good action sequences and a couple of interesting assassinations.

It's a terrible police simulation, and it seems really focused on ignoring the few things that actually work, while stubbornly concentrating on the ones that don't.

Whoever wanted a revolution, not just in the plot but in gameplay terms, will be disappointed. Trying to make combat and parkour more complex and compelling, Ubisoft Montreal overlooked some complications, and that's a shame, since it will show in every aspect of the gameplay. On the other hand, the digital version of the revolutionary Paris is stunning, and there's a lot to play, so fans of the brand will have their fair share of entertainment.
