Tokyo Crash Mobs reinvents a classic like Zuma in a purely Japanese style.

It's rough around the edges, and gameplay is really thin, but the terrifying experience ultimately works.

Between the pros of a hybrid form ideal for local multiplayer and the cons of a network experience with the handbrake on, the Switch conversion of Gang Beasts defends itself enough to provide the Nintendo audience with the opportunity to recover one of the parties craziest brawler in recent years. Although we are not in the presence of the best edition among those seen on consoles, the immediacy and the lively disorder of the formula put together by Boneloaf return here without alterations, guaranteeing a few hours of genuine leisure to anyone who has the opportunity to recruit a few friends. well-disposed to give them -virtually- of good reason.

Shadow Labyrinth is undoubtedly an interesting experiment, starting from an idea we'd like to see explored more often: thoughtfully modernizing a past title, reviving the key ideas that led to its creation but incorporating them into a modern framework. It's a shame the execution isn't the best: beneath the pleasant nods to Bandai Namco's history lies a derivative Metroidvania, reminiscent of a bygone era. Navigating the labyrinths is simple, the combat lacks creative flair, the protagonist's power-ups lack impact, and even the original ideas haven't been perfectly implemented.

Is not even a Game, but a psycho-geography experiment. Despite its nature, Treasure World is an interesting software, suitable for collectibles maniacs.

Especially on the graphics side we expected something more, as the game still feels and looks practically the same. If you missed this one on console though, it's still one hell of a ride.

On one hand we have a team that has always sacrificed interactivity in the name of a cinematic experience, on the other hand there is an online video game that has never made an effort to tell a real story: the meeting between these two extreme visions of the medium has given life to a strange hybrid with a fully Supermassive gameplay structure, chock-full of references to Behaviour's work but narratively lean and devoid of the fun thrills that we would have expected from the team of Until Dawn and The Quarry. Completely devoted to exploring the lore of Dead by Daylight, The Casting of Frank Stone forgets to lay out a plot that can intrigue its audience, bringing on stage a narration castrated by serious problems of pacing and a horror factor that is slow to arrive, despite the short duration of the experience.

Legends Labyrinth suffers of several problems. Despite that, this unusual hack'n slash-based puzzle will not fail to enthrall thanks to the extraordinary work of level design.

Aliens Vs Predator is a standard First Person Shooter, but thanks to the Predator's and Xenomorph's campaigns, it entertains old and new players. Even the multiplayer mode is funny and well structured, but the graphics engine is not that good.

Impossible, then, not to feel a bit of a bitter taste in your mouth in the face of a dated and limp technical sector, which shows the signs of still incomplete optimization work. In short, Serious Sam 4 has put a half-smile on our faces, even if we do not make any effort to recommend the purchase to all the historical fans of the series.

It's same old Fable, and this is a good chance to try it if you've missed the original (and the expansion). Sadly, this remaster shows a lot of graphical hiccups, and a less than good frame rate, despite its high pricing.

Boom Street is surely peculiar, with its strict but entertaining gameplay. It has some faults, the major being quite anonymous, but still it can be enjoyable, assuming you have three friends hanging at your pad.

Because of an imprecise control system and a level design absolutely anonymous, Bloodrayne: Betrayal is a videogame only recommended to fans of the franchise or gamers in withdrawal symptoms from action in 2D.

It's an interesting fourth chapter: although the gameplay is once again too simple, the narrative side is indeed more mature and filled with plot twists. Makes one hope the the finale can still raise the overall bar.

It wasn't clear before release what Jett: The Far Shore wanted to be, which was as alien as its setting. Unfortunately it is not even now. It is a not at all veiled reference to the intuitions of No Man's Sky, but having adapted that playful structure to a narrative that exists and also has not indifferent apexes. The problem is almost entirely in the gameplay, which together with unresponsive controls transforms even the simplest of activities into a grueling struggle with the game system. A real shame, unfortunately, since the game was intended as a placid and relaxing experience.

Battlefield 2042 immediately shows enormous potential, fueled by a playful structure that hosts very thick modes and truly promising innovations. Unfortunately, DICE's latest work is also one of the most disorganized chapters of the series, as spectacular as it is strewn with imbalances and lightness, which affect the choral rendering of an offer that still fails to give the best of itself.
