Black Ops 4 is one of the best Call of Duty games to date. The multiplayer and the Zombies experiences are excellent, but Blackout needs more personality and a different economic model to try to steal Fortnite and PUBG players.

A little bit better, rich and original than the last LEGO games but still far from the best outing of the series.

After 10 years, The World Ends With You is still an original game. OK, gameplay wise we’re not getting the full experience on Switch due to the lack of a second screen, but nonetheless the option of playing in local multiplayer all by ourselves manages to recreate some of the original feelings. The HD graphics are spot on, but the overall experience isn’t as good as we remembered, and the price point seems a bit off given the age of the game.

So, here’s the plan: invite your friends over, order some take out, crack open a cold one and have fun! Super Mario Party offers a wide variety of (generally) fun minigames, more than enough game modes and a couple of interesting ideas on how to use both the Joy-Cons and Switch’s features. It’s a great party game that will entertain the seasoned gamer and the newcomer as well.

Mega Man 11 arrives as part of 30th anniversary celebration of the series breaking up from the classic gameplay and 8-bit style and finally offering something new to the mix. Mega Man 11 is in many ways a crossover between the main series and the X one. The brand new double gear system opens the door to new gameplay styles and it feels very enjoyable. Even die-hard fans will have a tough time with this new chapter, and newcomers will be happy to find easier difficulty settings…maybe too much easy. Challenges and time-attack modes offer lots of repeatability, though soundtrack is not very memorable.

Lost Paradise fails to bring Hokuto No Ken's fans the masterpiece they were hoping for, but it's still an enjoyable game with a twirled story and lots of content for Yakuza lovers.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is one of the best chapters of the series, and will delight any fan. Too bad for a limping technical optimization, which spoils the performance of what could have been the best Assassin's Creed ever made.

Engaging, graphically impressive, enriched by an excellent level design. Firewall Zero Hour is one of the best games available for PlayStation VR. Recommended for lovers of online FPS.

A beefy stand-alone prequel DLC with the same lights and shadows of the main game and a fresh twist on the combat system side.

The 2nd Runner – M∀RS brings back the gorgeous arcade shooter gameplay of Zone of the Enders, with an adrenalinic VR twist. Welcome back Jeuthy.

My Brother Rabbit is a rather canonical point and click puzzle game, whose lack of originality in the structure of the enigmas and whose low level of challenge stain an artistic and narrative sector, on the contrary, full of good ideas, able to engage the player with an exciting fairy tale plot.

An entertaining Diablo-clone with some clever gameplay ideas and a solid combat system. The lack of any kind of multiplayer is quite disappointing.

Immortal: Unchained is a souls like third person shooter game developed and published by Toadman Interactive. The idea of a souls like with guns is amazing, but the way it is developed, it looks like a set of beautiful non-original ideas stuck together.

A smaller, dirtiest and less smart version of the good game available on the other platforms.

Playground Games has gone further, improving the already huge third chapter in every single component. The dynamic seasons, the shared world, the magnificent graphics and the fulfilling driving model are enough to wipe out the competition and make Forza Horizon 4 a must buy for all Xbox One and PC owners.

Super Seducer 2 is a sequel that's not required, considering that due to the limited development time, the gameplay is full of bugs and errors in foreign language versions. The quality of the scenes and acting do not improve the situation.

Death's Gambit is only a souls-like? At first glance the answer is definitely yes but it is also a lot more. White Rabbit manage to create a great but nevertheless fragile game which despite the flaws and the lapse of taste in some situations deserves your attention.

Star Traders: Frontiers is a fantastic open adventure in a space in which we can basically do whatever we want. The final product is much more than the (sometimes not perfect) single mechanics involved.

Seven of the best Capcom's beat 'em up in a single shot with local/online multiplayer, customizable options and a little good-old-days arcade museum. For less than 20 bucks it's a retro heaven.

This version is the best available for the God Wars series, but having no real improvements does not delete the fragile structure of the game. Tactical gameplay is safe, but not everything else, very poor for a genre like this.

YS VIII for Nintendo Switch a lazy port from Sony’s consoles. Despite the use of dynamic resolution scaling (DRS) and halving the frame-rate to 30fps, both of these aspects suffer and fail to deliver in the heat of the action. Besides these technical issues, the experience is the same of the original release and this game offer a lot to old school RPG lovers.

Aggressors: Ancient Rome is literally a diamond in the rough. It is an incredibly deep and interesting take on the 4X genre with subpar graphics and some rough edges in the UI.

Often simple and straightforward but also brilliant and profound, The Gardens Between is a visually wonderful adventure puzzle in which the clever time-bending mechanics are intertwined with a delicate story of an extremely strong friendship. A great little game.

The Serpent's Curse isn't the best entry in the beloved Broken Sword series, but it's still an enjoyable adventure, particularly on the Nintendo Switch.

An enjoyable Metroidvania with great platforming, gorgeous visuals and solid old-school gameplay... but also some balancing issues due to its procedurally generated dungeons.

Asphalt 9: Legends pushes once again the limits of smartphone hardware and mobile gaming, offering cutting edge graphics, a smart control system and a lot of contents to enjoy with. It’s free-to-play and albeit there are the hated in-game purchases, they are totally optional. If you like arcade racing on the go, this game is the way to go.
