Football Manager 2019 is a good step forward for the series, thanks to a system enriched and expanded in the capillarity of its structure. It is, therefore, the usual immense and encyclopaedic football managerial experience, which certainly will not disappoint enthusiasts. We would have expected, however, a clear improvement regarding some of the historical problems of the series.

Call of Cthulhu is a game with so many flaws but nevertheless it's a really different kind of RPG, a unique kind of game in which the player really feels like the main character of a compelling lovecraftian tale. If you are an avid fan of the author from Providence this is easily an 8/10 and a must have.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is not only a masterpiece of design philosophy and open-world expertise. Is a whole new world for the videogame industry: it does things that are unprecedented in entertainment media, and it does them perfectly.

The Bard’s Tale 4 is a splendid and fresh take on the RPG genre. Production values are very high and the experience never fails to entertain. Bugs and glitches abound but are being hunted down by the devs.

Again, a Remastered version comes for the Nintendo Switch, this time bringing the Miyazaki’s masterpiece on a new console. The Switch is powerful enough to render every texture in HD but the framerate is not so stable as the last Remastered on PlayStation 4. Maybe not the best version, but the only one that allows to bring Dark Souls with you outside.

Mark of the Ninja Remastered is a side-scrolling action stealth video game developed by Klei Entertainment. This remastered version has the contents of the Ninja Special Edition and supports 4K. Mark of the Ninja remastered is a must for all lovers of the stealth genre.

Graveyard Keeper adds an interesting theme to the successful Stardew Valley genre. Unfortunately it also adds some inconvenient UI and UX issues and an atmosphere that fails to really involve the player.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas is a promising new IP dedicated to younger players, allowing them to explore a vast and fascinating universe. Despite the bland story and a certain repetitiveness, we were conquered by the compelling gameplay. If Ubisoft is able to fix the weaker aspects of the game, the future of Starlink could be promising. Sadly the decision to sell separately every single element of the game could keep the players away.

Warriors Orochi 4 is a conventional and aseptic title, able to reveal perfectly the controversies of an eternally debated videogame subgenre. It is an action hack'n slash experience that will not dissatisfy those related to the carefree and shallow depth of products of this type, extremely and purposefully conveyed on a pure and immediate fun. It is, however, also a title that fails to renew itself too effectively, and which preserves a too repetitive gameplay and an obsolete technical compartment.

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 is starting to show its true potential. Few minor changes in the gameplay and more game modes could transform a good game in the true NBA Jam successor.

Frozen Synapse 2 is an average attempt at bettering a masterpiece. It actually makes few things worst introducing a bland open world and filling it with bugs and glitches a ton. Still good fun in multiplayer though.

Thronebreaker is different thing from the good old Gwent. It’s a puzzle adventure mixed with some RPG choice, introducing a spin off story with Meve the warrior queen and many recalls to the main storyline, lived in The Witcher series. As a spin off, it is worth the shot, and the budget price sounds right.

Lamplight City is a successful point-and-click graphic adventure in terms of storytelling and with a convincing and pleasant retro – pixel art style. The almost total absence of enigmas, together with the lack of interactivity, prevent him, however, to aspire to the top of the genre.

The first Disgaea game is back in a great HD remake. All assets are rebuilt from zero and the game now features all the additions of the Nintendo DS and PSP versions. If you never played the first chapter of this funny jRPG series, this is the perfect chance to remedy, and it comes in a retail version too.

Track Lab is an original and unique game. It is not the best puzzle game you will play, the editor is limited and rudimentary. Nevertheless, music lovers will find it fun and interesting.

Astro Bot is easily the best platformer of the VR era and one of the best ever made on a PlayStation platform.

Space Hulk Tactics is a splendid conversion of the tabletop game. New mechanics, high production values and a ton of content and modes make this version the must-have for all the ‘aficionados’ of the series.
