Active Soccer 2019 brings back the good-old-fashioned Kick Off Amiga days. Not bad for a 10 bucks game.

Not your ordinary “Resi” experience, but RE4 is still one of the best action-horror ever made... and now you can play it anywhere with your Switch.

One of the most divisive chapters in the Resident Evil saga arrives on the Nintendo Switch, for the first time playable as a portable game. An enjoyable more of the same with some annoying issues.

Of course there's always room for improvement, but Milestone worked hard and every core element of the MotoGP series looks and feels better than ever, depicting the best installment to date.

Lapis X Labyrinth is a good action RPG, able to entertain thanks to a well packaged mix of video game subgenres, a frantic and immediate combat system and a convincing role structure. The biggest shadow is certainly represented by the extremely repetitive structure of the quests.

Beyond the mere narrative component, which will best capture only manga and anime (or Japanese) fans, The Princess Guide is an action-RPG with really a lot of meat on the fire. The problem is that this meat is so much that it ends up "burning". Translated: fast fights but too chaotic and dirty from a series of written on the screen to the limit of understandable, menu and submenu that will put in difficulty even the most experienced players.

Pathway is an aesthetically gorgeous tactical roguelike that feels oversimplified and never achieve the right level of engagement or strategic depth.

A bunch of old-school vampire-hunter adventures that made history, but Konami could have done more to satisfy our blood thirst.

This new (and supposedly last) edition of Final Fantasy XII perfects the already excellent one on PlayStation 4 in 2017 and the following year on PC. The portability of Nintendo Switch is an added value of that version, thanks to a flexible gameplay that adapts to gaming sessions of any duration.

Resident Evil remake is back… again. This time you’ll be granted with the first portable version of this immortal masterpiece, but the launch price should have been cheaper.

Blood and Truth is the spiritual sequel of The London Heist we have been waiting for, but it has some issues regarding the aiming system and can be quite difficult if you suffer from motion sickness.

Observation is an important confirmation for No Code. Despite a slight puzzle solving component, the sci-fi horror adventure captures and convinces thanks to a great atmosphere and a well written story, just as it fascinates the new perspective change and a good technical sector.

The survival of Fade to Silence is certainly good, credible and well structured. Severe for the most hurried players but at the same time will reward strategists. Unfortunately it lacks all that undergrowth of contents that give soul and "color" to a video game, like a real campaign, fiction, secondary activities, not to mention decidedly mediocre graphics and combat system.

Produced by SEGA and developed by Sumo Digital, Team Sonic Racing is the third installment in the kart racing series with Sonic and his friends as stars of the show. This time it is all about Sonic: characters and location are restricted to the series and there is a new vehicle customization system. Even if the graphics are improved, game contents and experience see a step forward and even if the game can be enjoyable at times, it will not match the greatness of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is a masterpiece wannabe, an exquisite adventure with puzzle and stealth elements which shines with several clever and great ideas. A wonderful tale about blood ties, family, friendship and a relentless disease depicted through hundreds of voracious and unstoppable rats.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered is a good remake of a very good sniper simulator. Too bad the graphics are still not up to par with the state of the art; the game though is still a lot of fun and a good choice for the series’ aficionados.

Giga Wrecker Alt. proves to be solid in the concept, less solid in its execution, with commands and hitbox that are not always accurate. A pleasant story is followed by a not always clean graphic style and a forgettable soundtrack. The final result satisfies, but risks not making its mark.

World War Z is a third-person shooter video game developed by Saber Interactive based on the 2006 book of the same name, and set in the same universe as the 2013 film adaptation. The game follows groups of survivors of a zombie apocalypse in the cities of Moscow, New York, Jerusalem, and Tokyo. The plot is not very appealing and the sixteen characters are poorly characterized. The gameplay inspired by Left 4 Dead is fun in the early hours of the game, but it doesn't have much longevity.

Based on the original Japanese coin-op game, Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission is a pure fan-service gem. With more than 350 characters covered and over 1000 collectible cards, there is a lot of stuff to have fun with. Even if it is a card-based game, you can still feel the signature action of regular Dragon Ball Games.
