Splinter Cell is back with new gameplay mechanics and a great title. If you were waiting for a stealth game with fast paced mechanics and a cool main character, buy this game immediately. Conviction has a great multiplayer experience, and a short but intense campaign. Our uncle Sam is back again, and we love him!

Beyond a faithful representation of the TV series for what concerns atmosphere and characters, Prison Break: The Conspiracy proves to be a mediocre game, whose numerous faults, like the excessive linearity and frustrating stealth situations, give birth to a boring and repetitive gaming experience that won’t satisfy neither the fans of the show nor casual gamers.

Samurai Showdown Sen is the perfect example of how a great 2d series can be destroyed by a clumsy attempt to fit it into a 3d gameplay. Samurai Showdown Sen has a poor graphic, a cheap gameplay and a general lack of personality. If you're looking for a 3d beat'em up, take this game out from your wishlist.

Is the Stimulus Pack worth 1200 Microsoft Points? It depends. The new maps are nice enough, and offer good gameplay solutions (in particular Storm), but the price is way too much for this DLC. The return of two Modern Warfare classics is nice, but after hours and hours of play with the original game, the idea of having fun with them again is not so nice. If you're a Modern Warfare 2 supporter, probably you'll buy this DLC anyway. Else, be careful: it's not such a big deal.

Warband is an exciting experience, that will really make you believe to be "inside" this game. At the beginning it can be disorienting, but its force is in its possibilities. Many hours of gameplay await you in this game, with an axe and an horse.

Just Cause 2 is pure fun. Panau Island is the perfect setting for a game like this, and it offers loads of places were to unleash the hell with big explosions and crazy fights. The graphic is sharp, and the global impression is always good. The game is just a little bit repetitive, but it's a quite small problem for this kind of experience.

After years of vain promises and long before Move, Natal and who knows whatever else, Red Steel 2 is finally ready. Swordfighting has never been so fun and intense: don't skip this amazing Wii exclusive, this is the game we've all been waiting for... Now get ready to fight!

The new episode of the Moto GP franchise has been programmed to be a funny arcade game. If you're looking for a simulation, don't consider this game, but if you want to race without too many problems, this could be a good purchase.

The Settlers 7 is a great RTS with classic elements and good new ideas. The graphic is sharp and clean, and the gameplay offers few interesting new features for the multiplayer. If you love this kind of game, you'll find what you're looking for in The Settler 7. And this time the DRM is not a big problem.

Metro 2033 is a classic FPS with some new features that distinguish it from its competitors, as the ammunition to be used as a currency and the importance given to the gas mask. Gameplay is generally funny, despite sometimes a little bit too scripted. Thumbs up for the AI of the enemies, quite realistic. Graphics on PC are simply astounding, while on Xbox 360 the final result is not as good as we would have expected.

God of War III is the perfect epilogue of a great trilogy. The game has no innovation, but it's gameplay is the perfect goal for the action games. Fast, epic, intense, God of War III is the perfect experience for the action gamer. Buy it, and love it!

Resonance of Fate is one of the best JRPG of these last months. Featuring a deep combat system and a huge load of interesting ideas, this game is a true gem for the RPG fans. The main story has a diesel acceleration, but after few hours everything looks great.

Sol Survivor is a nice surprise from the indie world; funny, well structured, with an exceptional longevity, is a game that can steal a lot of your free time. Maybe it won't be the best graphic ever, but it works very well.

The Eye of Judgment: Legends is an enjoyable TDC game: the plot is pretty boring but, if you like the genre, the multiplayer mode will entertain you for a long time. Fans of turn-based fighting will certainly appreciate it.

Considering the initial expectations, Final Fantasy XIII is definitely a disappointment. Although the adventure looks absolutely stunning (especially on PS3), the gameplay lacks in terms of depth in a way that no one could have expected, and if we add to the equation the extreme linearity of most of the adventure, the whole experience is far from perfect. Anyway, we can't blame Square Enix too much: this is where mass market is leading us.

The PC version of Assassin's Creed 2 enhances the already awesome elements of the console editions, and includes all the DLCs. On the other hand there are too many problems with the Ubisoft DRM system. You can play the game only if connected to internet, but the unstable quality of the Ubisoft service could be a huge problem to solve.

Yakuza 3 is a great game witch represents in a perfect way the ambiguity of the modern Japan. The contradiction between the awesome story, the great selection of characters and the high production value, and the old style gameplay give to the game a nice touch, and a strong demeanor.

Silent Hunter 5 is a broken, bug infested game, a potentially great experience ruined by the bad job of the programmers. The lack of a tutorial for beginners and the bad optimization under the technical side, are big problems for new players and for the veterans of Silent Hunter.

Supreme Commander 2 is a hybrid between Total Annihilation and the first Supreme Commander: it has the accessibility of the former and the immensity of the latter. Probably the best “classic” RTS until today, though it has nothing special to grant it a long future.

Beyond its unconventional and somewhat unconvincing gameplay, Heavy Rain is one of those few products able to assure a real videogame experience, taking gamers though a journey they’ll hardly forget. Quantic Dream has definitely pushed forth the standards of the whole adventure games genre.

Total War is a come back for the Total War series: after the uncertain step of Empire, we now are in front of a wonderful game, one with great gameplay. Walking in the shoes of Napoleon is a dream for every strategist and being able to do it in such a game is fantastic. Multiplayer is the icing on the cake.

Sonic & SEGA All-Star Racing is a great copy of Mario Kart. It's atmosphere is really nice, and you'll love to play this game with your friends. The level design is good enough, and the 60 missions grant a good longevity even in single player.

Risen is a mediocre products that doesn't succeed to make the name of Piranha Bytes shine again after the deluding Gothic 3. Despite some good ideas, the game is not much stimulating, proving fit just for hardcore gamers. Should you not be one of them, you'd better look for something else or you will be inevitably driven into boredom and frustration.
