Someone could call it a “Diablo clone”, but truth is that it's the real Diablo's son we've been waiting for a long time. Respectful of its parents, Torchlight creates a lovely experience through sparkling landscapes, giving new life to the “mouse smashing gameplay”. Its simplicity is worth its weight in gold.- Eurogamer Italy

A good union between FPS and RPG, Borderlands is both deep and entertaining, with a perfect multiplayer option. The RPG elements are well implemented in a classic FPS action, and everything works in a very good way. The huge world could be boring after 30 hours, and the character design is not the most balanced in the world, anyway Borderlands will be the game of the year for a huge number of gamers.- Eurogamer Italy

Field of Glory is nothing more than an electronic board game. All is pretty tasteless but also very functional. Some flaws in the AI make the game more enjoyable in multiplayer rather than in single player.- Eurogamer Italy

EyePet is a product that, despite the undoubted potentialities of the concept and the technology used, is not as entertaining as it could have been, due to the lack of real challenges that, on the long run, make the game tedious and not so stimulating. If only Sony would have dared more, widening the concept of the game, the final score would have been much different.- Eurogamer Italy

Panzer General: Allied Assault is a card-based board game set in the WWII, with simple mechanics and deep, enjoyable gameplay. A good choice if you like little, tactical games.- Eurogamer Italy

The new episode of Smackdown vs. Raw is rich, entertaining and more polished than ever. The community element is well implemented and represents a nice touch for a game based on that huge live TV show known as wrestling.- Eurogamer Italy

FIFA 10 is all the best a football fan could imagine, you simply have to have it. The score is the right prize for a nearly perfect game that deserves the right prize for the work done in the last years that brought the average arcade game of the past, to the nearest thing to real football actually available. You'll stop playing FIFA 10 only when FIFA 11 will be on shelves. Great job EA, great job Moore, great job Rutter. You have to play it!- Eurogamer Italy

Although Rockstar Leeds could have probably pushed the quality of this porting a bit further, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars proves to be an excellent game, capable of entertaining throughout the adventure. A real must buy for any PSP owner.- Eurogamer Italy

Although we surely can’t deny its fascinating concept, Way of the Samurai 3 proves to be a disappointing next-gen debut for Aquire, which fails to improve the franchise’s previous titles in any significant way. In other words it’s surely a welcome sequel for any fans of the series, but a game that won’t appeal to a broader audience.- Eurogamer Italy

Astro Boy: The Video Game is definitely a disappointing product that proves to be in perfect harmony with many of the worst tie-ins released in the recent years. Its several faults, along with a repetitive gameplay, will in fact be impossible to ignore for both newcomers and fans of the brand.- Eurogamer Italy

Frontier Development has once again managed to demonstrate WiiWare's incredible potential. LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias is in fact an excellent game, capable of building on its predecessor strengths while solving many of its issues. A must buy for any Wii owner out there.- Eurogamer Italy

Those playing for a long time have developed the 'eye of the old-gamer', a sort of skill that allows them to lead back the majority of games to a minimum of seeds that give life to the 99% of videogames. We then salute with joy Machinarium, a modern title that goes back to the past, rediscovering what we could call a casual adventure for hardcore gamers.- Eurogamer Italy

Let's get it straight: 99% of the the people who will buy this product won't play it more than twice in the whole PS3 life cycle. To play your favorite mp3s you'll keep on using every other traditional player, and because of the Trophies you'll probably get to see everything .detuned has to offer during your first non-gaming session. This doesn't mean that .detuned is not worthy: some people will surely be deeply fascinated by .theprodukkt's creation to the point of never forgetting it. If you fancy strange and obscure stuff a la David Lynch, don't hesitate: buy this is a weird experiment (along with the more impressive and artsy Linger in Shadows).- Eurogamer Italy

A charming and surreal trip into the world of imagination. Axel & Pixel lacks in longevity, but still remains an intriguing "point and click" adventure, with wonderful settings, cute characters and a proven gameplay. Give it a chance, you wont' regret it!- Eurogamer Italy

Double Fine manages to create an enthralling and entertaining product, whose unbelievable originality clouds every imperfection related to a gameplay less complex than expected. Brutal Legend holds the real essence of metal, depicting it in its purest form, in the way that each of us has dreamed of at least once in his own life. Whether you love heavy metal or not, this title will offer you an experience you will not forget… and, who knows, you could discover a hidden passion!- Eurogamer Italy

Uncharted 2 is not innovative. But everything in it is better than in the first chapter. And everything seems nearly perfect. It is simply the new standard for the action adventure genre. A perfect mix between single player and multiplayer and something that will pave a new way for videogames. Any other production in the future will have to look at it. As we said at the beginning: the perfect game doesn't exist...but Naughty Dog seems really interested in finding a way to bring it to us.- Eurogamer Italy

This gorgeous remake of the old NES classic is the perfect example of how to remaster a glory from the past. The original formula is still there, with a consistent number of abilities to play with. Some minor problems in the control system and in the Blob's A.I. don't ruin the experience.- Eurogamer Italy

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games proves to be an exceptional party game, capable of exceeding its predecessor under any point of view. Despite some small flaws (mostly related to a gameplay that can still be improved), its minigames quality and attention to detail will be able to grant an entertaining experience both to adults and children.- Eurogamer Italy

With a solid length, an intriguing atmosphere and an engaging combat system, Magna Carta II is an RPG that should not be overlooked. Of course it is neither a revolution within the genre nor an epochal masterpiece, yet it's somehow fascinating: while waiting for Final Fantasy XIII, Juto and Zephie could surprise you with a game that's imperfect but enjoyable.- Eurogamer Italy

Codemasters has succeeded in the difficult task to bring back to life a famous IP, looking forward to a multiplatform future, which has just started. If you are among those people from the 'old school', feel free to add half point to the final mark. If you aren't, and are looking for an easy game, just do the opposite and look for another game.- Eurogamer Italy

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Heroes of the Republic is clearly a product targeting children and the hardcore fans of the brand, but unfortunately, because of his many faults, it's not good for either of these categories. Its excessive simplicity together with the total lack of spurs, make the game experience a real torture that barely no one will be able to stand… children most of all.- Eurogamer Italy
