The Awakened Fate Ultimatum is a far cry from the delicious intricacies of Disgaea and other Nippon Ichi titles, and doesn’t offer anything to make up for its simpler mechanics.

A great fighting game with a good number of new mechanics. The addiction of the stamina system, along with the three fighting styles for each character, have improved the original gameplay.

Pike and Shot is a remarkable strategic title both for his historical depth and for his longevity. Mechanics-wise the game is fun and interesting and with a 30 scenarios-long campaign, a multiplayer mode and a very complete skirmish mode those 20 euros are a fair price.

Minor issues aside, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is a great package for any FPS fan. Last-gen saves support and all-in-one DLC compilation, make this one an unmissable piece of software.

With Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, From Software and Bandai Namco have done a good job crafting an interesting remastered for both the veteran Souls fans and the newcomers. The different locations of the most of the enemies, the new content linked with the original lore, the new final boss and a bunch of extra challenges make Scholar of the First Sin the true incarnation of Dark Souls II.

Jaw of Hakkon is a good expansion but isn’t able to reach the high standard of quality of Dragon Age Inquisition.

The Sims 4: Get to Work expands The Sims 4 gameplay, but is too expensive for only 3 jobs and an activity.

Sunless Sea is a little gem full of both powerful, lovely crafted narrative and fine tuned explorative gameplay. If you like your games to be immersed in an incredible atmosphere and you don't mind a narrative-heavy way of presenting things, Sunless Sea is a definitive must-have.

Pillars of Eternity is classic RPG (and Kickstarter) done right. Great writing, solid gameplay and excellent art direction make for a glorious homage to the masterpieces of yesteryear, and a love letter to all their fans.

More accessible than Monster Hunter, but also less enjoyable, Kiwami is the definitive edition of Toukiden. New content, new storyline: it worth the attention of the fans, despite a combat system that allow a little bit of button mashing.

Axiom Verge is an outstanding homage to the metroidvania genre and one of the best independent productions so far in 2015.
