Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is the best love letter to Castlevania addicted. Created by the programmer, director and producer from titles like Simon’s Quest, Vampire’s Kiss and Symphony of the Night, Koji Igarashi, the game finally arrives to home consoles and PC after a successful crowdfunding campaign, but also a troubled development. Thankfully, the wait was definitely worth and we finally have a huge game, with deep combat and craft systems and loads of game modes. This is without any doubts one of the best Metroidvania of the year and a great Castlevania spiritual successor.

A gate that is willing to keep 26 years of videogame history. A proper museum dedicated to the PlayStation universe. An excellent platform rich of “wow” moments and built with love. Sleeping on Astro's Playroom should be considered a crime by the videogamers court.

Lara Croft Go is a flawless adaptation of the famous franchise for tablets. The experience is fun, challenging and the production values through the roof. A must for gamers on tablet.

Persona 5 Strikers is an excellent title, both for musou and jRPG lovers. Compared to the original Persona 5, the game experience is certainly simplified, just as the narrative never points to a real evolution of the characters already known. The compromise between the two videogame genres is still a success and, before you know it, you may find yourself having grinded dozens of hours of gameplay in what, all in all, is a wonderful new experience with our beloved Phantom Thieves.

Back To Karkand is a great DLC. The four maps are true classics from a glorious past, now even more awesome than ever thanks to the Frostbyte 2 engine. The new objective system is really nice and grants a brand new experience to the original game.

It was very difficult to translate all of the systems of Crusader Kings 3 for console play and Paradox has done its best, but many UX choices are inexplicable and this port will not help newcomers to approach this great strategy game.

Brave but decidedly fascinating, I Was a Teenage Exocolonist is certainly not a title suitable for all palates, but which manages to transpose all the original elements of the classic role-playing games onto the screen in a truly convincing way. Featuring mature and by no means trivial themes, as well as an emotionally powerful soundtrack, I Was a Teenage Exocolonist can also count on a high replay value.

There are several reasons that make Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice a great game. It's a fascinating journey which bravely deals with a taboo topic like the psychosis on the basis of a meticolous research. Senua is an extraordinary multi-layered character, one of the best ever created for a videogame. And finally this is the proof of the quality of the “AAA indie” model created by Ninja Theory.

As for the the next-gen and PC versions, we expected better graphics. And some of the same old gameplay problems are still there. Nonetheless, Black Flag is one of the greatest entries in the Assassin's Creed brand.

Thinking about ODST as the must buy for the player who plays alone is totally wrong. And even if the scenario changes playing with your friends, thinking about GTA: Lost and Damned as a full game released at 1800 MP should let everyone think about buying it at full price.

Ghost Trick: Detective Fantasma is a great adventure game with a strong personality, an awsome look and pretty dialogs. The original gameplay is able to keep the interest constantly alive, but the lack of variety and the trial and error mechanics could be a problem for someone.

Orcs Must Die is a fine game, not just because of the hybrid concept between real time strategy and action, but also for its accessible gameplay that allows anyone to play without a tutorial. The 50 action packed levels full of smooth gameplay are a true bargain at 15 Euros on Live Marketplace and 10,99 Euros on Steam. OMD! misses the excellence just because of the absence of multiplayer: with a coop mode it would have been great.

Street Fighter X Tekken is a complex game with too many elements in its fighting system. The Gem System looks scary enough - it could ruin the entire experience in a blink of an eye. The funny gameplay and the good graphics, anyway, are just enough to turn this game into the perfect entry level for beginners and a deep fighting game for the arcade stick masters.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is simply awesome. The single player Campaign Mode is an incredible surprise and is worth a few play throughs. Treyarch did a great job balancing the multiplayer experience, playing simple and focused. The final result with the CODcasting is something great and the online streaming as a nice bonus. This is the best year to buy a CoD game.

Gameplay is very simple and addictive, and you will get busy for a long time with this game, hoping to survive till the end and to climb the online ladder. Even though a single run lasts few seconds.
