"Katamari Forever is a genuinely funny experience that could basically please everybody (and most of all the newcomers to this amazing series!), yet it's hard to hide a little disappointment: at the fifth chapter the formula still works and rolling around is surely a blast, but the saga desperately needs significant innovations to find its uniqueness once again.

Strike Suit Zero is a well crafted and frenetic space shooter, but is spoiled by a certain repetitiveness of the missions and a predictable storyline.

The Brave and the Bold is a classic 2D beat 'em up that doesn't take itself too seriously. A graphical candy that will come to an end too soon and in the easiest way possible.

A Limbo-like game with good visuals and inspired puzzle design, ruined by frustrating controls, poor animations and some minor bugs.

Despite the interesting arcade twist, four hours of gameplay and the inevitable Horde Mode are not enough for 1200 Microsoft Points.

Cards of Destiny is a good point & click game, but it fails on its fundamentals: dialogues, puzzles and graphic are a step behind the last chapter, and only its good plot saves this game.

Hindsight tries to tell a very deep story full of thoughts on the past and the future. Unfortunately the gameplay is too minimalist and the short duration fails to enhance its merits.

A missed opportunity. Apex Construct is a first person adventure with an inspired design and some pretty good ideas, shadowed by some technical and design problems.

Considering the duration of its development, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers turns out to be quite disappointing. Beyond its great visuals and well told storyline, the game shows in fact various flaws, mostly gameplay-wise, proving unable to live up to its expectations.

In 2009 it is not possible to publish a game such this, especially with the hype built around the new Activision production. We could give you 100 reasons to not buy it.

Bub and Bob embark in a new adventure, this time in 3D... and VR! Puzzle Bobble 3D: Vacation Odyssey is a decent puzzle game despite some annoying technical problems, surprisingly better in virtual reality than standard mode.

The first morsel of Curse of Naxxramas is an all-important addition to a stellar game that cannot be missed. Unfortunately it's also very short in actual content.

Sonic Forces tries to offer the best elements of previous 2D and 3D Sonic games, but the end result is a confusing gameplay experience. Though the sense of speed is back and it’s great, the player gets interrupted after every stage by long and uninteresting cut-scenes. And the same old problems of 3D Sonic games are still present. Technically speaking, the game is at least solid and runs smooth at 60fps.

Forgive Me Father feels like a missed opportunity to bring an inspired lovecraftian horror style in a great retro FPS. The game offers a good art direction and some good moments, but its repetitive gameplay, linear design and light story elements prevent it from being a very good one.

Accel World VS Sword Art Online is a good title for fans of the virtual worlds created by Reki Kawahara. However, the game does not improve on the previous SAO games and the narrative fusion of the two universes feels sometimes forced.

Thanks to MotionPlus, Virtua Tennis 2009 is a good game, with its limits. Lack of innovation starts to be a problem as happened with the other versions but the good number of choices and a good multiplayer could be interesting for someone still loving this sport.

An interesting input and gorgeous musics aren’t enough to make Finding Paradise a pleasant and emotional experience like To The Moon was. Believable characters are shadowed by a linear and repetitive structure and by a story unable to stand up on its own.

With its remake of the original Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War, Omega Force delivers a lot of content, but saves on quality. The result is a technically crippled Musou, with mediocre gameplay and even worse AI, although with a passable brand new fantasy-themed campaign.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 rather than a "deluxe edition" appears as a porting created only to take advantage of Switch’s portability, without taking much care of the docked version. It remains a good title for lovers of the genre and the Oda’s manga, but if you don’t fall into these two categories we don’t recommend it.

Despite the fact the it's the classic more of the same, The Missing Link would have been a DLC to recommend to all Human Revolution. The choice of Eidos to price it 15 Euros proves to be a risky move, particularly in this period of the year.

Although the game has its merits, like an impressive environmental destruction, Volition's choice to turn the title into a pure third person shooter doesn't seem to have paid off the way it should have. A poor narrative and an excessive linearity are in fact two flaws that can hardly be ignored.

Ash of Gods: Redemption is a project full with passion and enthusiasm, but lacking the courage and experience to really dare and create something new. Built on a gameplay too much inspired by far more renowned titles and a narration between a uber-classic fantasy and an avoidable crypticity, the game of the small Russian studio surely deserves a pat on the shoulder of encouragement, but remains a product far from being able to leave you speechless.

The high tendency of the AI to crash makes it difficult to organize races and championships in singleplayer: the multiplayer could save the day, but the community seems to be too small to guarantee populated servers for Americans and Europeans at every hour of day and night.
