Like Arthur and Excalibur, Felt and the Azoth are part of destiny... one that includes becoming part of any tactical-RPG loving gamer's library.

This is an addiction, not a game. As hard as you may fall for it, there are rewards for sticking with it, but the later levels will make it harder to do so.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire delivers the expected “you’ve seen the movie, now play it” goods, though tedious collection quests and a dearth of fresh material that goes beyond the movie storyline will limit the game’s appeal to the teen-and-up audience.

Sure, you see the box and you think, “if this is anything like Wii Sports tennis, it’ll be awesome!”, but trust me when I say this is nothing like Wii Sports Tennis. This is everything like every other crappy port the system has received – graphically inferior, feature-poor and suffering from controls that were originally meant for an analog stick but are now shoehorned uncomfortably into nonsensical hand gestures.

If your little girl wants a pet-raising game, Nintendogs is still the best bet. If she likes horses and ponies better than dogs, I’d point her to Pony Friends. However, Horse Life is still an excellent addition to this genre, and well worth checking out if the resident pony lover is looking for something with a bit less pony interaction and a bit more actual game.

Don't know where to start when getting a game for a girl? This is a good place. Nancy Drew has been around for years for a reason, and this mystery adventure does a good job of fitting in with the franchise.

It's worth playing. It's not hard, but it's still satisfying for a short while.

Justice League Heroes may offer teams of two instead of teams of four when you play, but its superior two-player dynamic and far superior story make Justice League Heroes more fun than "Marvel Ultimate Alliance," despite the eye-candy edge held by Activision’s title.

A solid gameplay mechanic in search of a home.

If you don't have Virtua Tennis, that's the tennis game to get. If you have Virtua Tenis and you absolutely must play Pac-Man Tenis, I guess this is the game for you.

There is a reason why this type of game has been around, and the twists on the gameplay for the DS version make it worth owning, even a must have, for puzzle fans.

Root of Evil tries to get at the root of the original game’s flaws, but comes up short. Essentially more of the same, the game does offer a bit of enjoyment in its wacky combat; however, problems with the camera and controls make it no more than an average action platform game.

The PSP is hot again and SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 for PSP is along for the ride; but it doesn't measure up to Silent Hill: Origins, Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness or Jeanne d'Arc.

The combination of an RPG and a side-scrolling shooter isn't a bad one, but constantly switching between them so constantly makes for too much of a jarring experience.

Strategy fans that have some experience under their belt will find sufficient challenge with Space Empires V. Just be sure to read the (thick) manual and go through the tutorial. All others should really think twice before picking this up.

Get a better game such as "Guitar Hero" or "Taiko Drum Master."

The structure outside the battlefield, like the country it portrays, is broken. Shattered, if you will.

If you have a little girl (or perhaps a somewhat effeminate little boy) that loves ponies, you really can’t go wrong with Pony Friends. While it’s not quite as polished and ambitious as Nintendogs was, it’s still surprisingly good, and head and shoulders above most other virtual pet games.

The sequel we’ve all been waiting for since the original Tomb Raider hit PSone. But not as lovely on PSP, so get the PS2 or 360 version!

The AI has no qualms with calling you on your bluffs and aggressively checking, creating a believable experience that is fresh and unique each play.

Technical issues mar what could be a great game. Even though it's not what it should be, I still recommend it for those of you that like your violence in large graphic doses.

Scratches would have been a runaway hit … 10 years ago. Today? It’s just fairly tedious. This one’s only for die-hard point-and-click fans; others will be bored stiff.

While PaRappa the Rapper isn't worth the initial asking price, its mix of clever songs, cute graphics, and downloadable content make it a great bargain bin purchase.

Either version of the game is equally mediocre. The story holds some promise, but the action is so frustrating it's too much work to get to the meat of it.

Despite the good attempt, WCP2 is nothing compared to real-life poker.

They should perhaps forget about the half-hearted measures and just stop putting out these cosmetically-enhanced, half-effort retreads and forge ahead with something new already. Like Parasite Eve 3!
