A Civilization-branded carbon copy of other games in the city building genre, CivCity: Rome has a few too many flaws to justify purchase over its competition.

Cars: Mater-National is a decent racing game that will probably satisfy fans of the film, but it’s also flawed in numerous ways that make it difficult to recommend over the countless better racers out there.

True Swing Golf DS has a great control scheme... and nothing else to recommend it.

Shadowrun doesn’t just trample on the memories of the classic RPGs many people fondly remember. It’s a sham and a rip-off, especially on the Xbox 360. If you absolutely must buy this game, buy it on the PC. Better yet, don’t buy it at all, at least not until it hits the bargain bin.

Despite lacking any significant innovation, the game features solid gameplay that minimizes obtuse puzzle-solving in favor of object interactions.

Sidetracked is a perfect example of a great idea that didn’t get the proper work to make it shine. With a little more effort, the game could have gone from mediocre to must own.

This series holds some promise, as long as the issues with fielding are fixed by next years release (and we all know that if this sells more than four copies 2k will update the roster for next year) it'll be a great game. For now this is a quick game with friends only.

Fans of mech titles, and specifically the building simulation aspect of mech titles, should rejoice, as this is an amazing and full-featured game.

It's not without a few problems here and there, but if you liked the console MechAssault games, or are just looking for a solid mech action title on the DS, MechAssault: Phantom War won't disappoint you.

With EA Sports’ March Madness still only treading stale water, 2K Sports continues to innovate, staying ahead on game play appeal. College Hoops 2K8 for PS2 is the king of previous-gen college hoops titles, but it’s lacking the shine it once sported.

This is wasted potential for a surprise hit. Great graphics and classic fast-paced action would be absolutely awesome if it wasn’t so darn repetitive.

A game pretty blatantly for fans of the show, but non-fans might find plenty here to like. It’s little more than Grand Battle with a single-player mode attached, but it’s your best chance to fight superpowered pirates this year.

Look at it this way – at 400 points, this game is essentially 20 quarters worth of gameplay. If you ever played the game in the arcade, odds are good you used up at least that many.

Juka is just too tedious. It feels too much like work, and what good qualities the game does have don't seem like they're worth working for.

While there are not new concepts at work here they fit together to make a great game.

The quality of this game’s interface proves that RTS gameplay can be every bit as compelling on the DS as it is on the PC. Unfortunately, the severe lack of quality in the gameplay itself makes this completely broken RTS a waste of your time and money.

There's some great action in here, but everything surrounding it just fails to live up to the giants of this genre.

Even the ill-fated "X-Files" PC game of 1998 was more advanced and fun to play than this sorry specimen.

It takes something special for a game to stand out from the group, and sadly Legion Arena fails to do this.

If you've already played the Xbox version there is absolutely no reason to play this version other than to add gamerpoints to your pile.

A decent gmae that gives strategy gamers a nice twist and smoething new. Not knowing how long until the other games arrive to finish the story kind of sucks.

If you're a fan of the movie, it's worth at least a rental, and possibly a purchase. However, you might already own it on another system -- if so, you can ignore this version.

These licensed glut the GBA library and this title doesn't do much to rise above the pack.
