Elite Beat Agents is a ridiculously silly music-rhythm game with a wacky song list, a laughably bizarre story, and fantastic gameplay. In other words, it’s just about everything a music-rhythm game should be, really.

This is a truly excellent game whose only real flaws are caused by the platform it’s on. Still, as long as this is only on the PSP, it’s a must-have title for both Metal Gear series fans and PSP gamers looking for a great action game.

This is the kind of game we were promised when the Wii was in development, and it is nice to see someone other than Nintendo deliver on those promises. Capcom has a real gem here, but you have to play it to understand.

Puzzle Quest does an amazing job bringing together the puzzle and RPG genres together in a game that is easily one of the best XBLA titles this year. Don't miss it.

Forget your opinions about the original Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts II improves on its predecessor in just about every possible way, and is a must-have title for Disney fans and Square Enix fans alike.

While dark and moody and supernaturally-tainted, Persona 3’s obsession with the day-to-day school humdrum of its main characters’ lives delivers some unique game play ideas, but also transform it into a love-it-or-hate-it affair. Recommended only for SMT fans.

The Shivering Isles is far from a perfect expansion, but it still gives players some completely new ground to tread that’s unlike anything else in the game, which makes it a must-have for anyone who enjoyed the original game.

Overall a solid sports title that surpasses EA's FIFA franchise.

A nice offering. As a first person shooter it come up a little short. It is, however, the best original PlayStation 3 game of the launch line-up.

The original Animal Crossing was touted as a game about social interactivity, but Animal Crossing: Wild World is even moreso.

It's more of a straightforward shooter, but it's still gorgeous and the best squad-based shooter for your money on the PS3.

This is yet another solid Castlevania game, but the series is starting to tire out thanks to a lack of worthwhile change. What changes this game does make simply don’t cut it, and while Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin is still a decent title, it happens to be far too much like the last decent title in the series.

The best platformer on the PSP and almost the best title period on the console.

Frankly, this is, for better or for worse, exactly the kind of Pokemon game that we are all expecting. The storyline hasn’t evolved, the gameplay is unchanged but has had a few refinements, the DS’ touchscreen is liberally used, the game is playable online, the graphics are sharp but still evoke the GBA standard, and there’s plenty of new Pokemon to capture.

There is little fault to be found in this game as the fighting is balanced and there are lots of engaging aspects of the title that demand your time.

Once again, it’s apparent that Syphon Filter and the PSP were made for each other. While the game isn’t without its issues, it’s still a solid action title that actually feels at home on the handheld. Action fans with a PSP should consider this a must-have.

Own a 360? Like action? Like zombies? You need this game. Unelss you have a small standard television, because then you won't be able to read the text of what's being said.

Don't buy this game expecting an experience like the GameCube Metroid Prime titles. This is Quake with a thin layer of Metroid paint. But hey, that's okay if you like Quake.

While many were worried about this iteration changing the spirit of the title so much like with Warrior Within, it instead manages to take the best bits of both and create a wonderful hybrid.

Good fun, while it lasts. The short single player campaign will leave you wanting more; fortunately, the fully-featured multiplayer delivers it. Watch that battery, though, as Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters goes big with draining your power as much as it does with gameplay and graphics.

Not a bad first-effort at an oddball game for kids, Viva Pinata holds appeal to all ages, but not to all tastes, given the niche nature of the title and the too-frenetic pace in the early going.

This game should please fans of the series (especially those that disliked the changes made in the second game), but it won't thrill them.
