Shadowgrounds is a pure top-down shooter that just doesn’t seem to come together to achieve the effects it was going for. Spooky games are spookier in first-person than they are top-down, so Shadowgrounds isn’t spooky.

This is a solid anime title, although this franchise is getting to be so repetitive that these games don't offer anything but fan service. The GC, and now Wii, line of the series was the strongest of the titles, but they need to bring more story into a title that relies so heavily on its characters.

As far as genre goes, this collection is weighed heavily towards shoot-‘em-ups and brawlers. Fans of those two genres, or of those specific games, will undoubtedly be delighted with what’s on offer here. However, those hoping for a healthy mix of this ‘n that like the first collection are bound to be disappointed.

You get to play a cartoon here, and it's a complete fighter. It's good for fans of the anime, as well as fighter fans.

So not worth it, pick up "Hearts of Iron II" and get a proper strategy/history game.

It's an astounding racer that offers a lot of depth and reward to dedicated players, but might scare away the novices.

The only thing that holds Evidence: The Last Ritual back is its excessive difficulty; otherwise, The Adventure Company has yet again crafted an amazingly vivid game that breaks expectations of what an adventure game can do.

Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony may not be the greatest RPG to appear on PSP ever, but it deserves to be on most gamers’ Top 5 list.

Kursk is fine, but not stellar. If you are looking for more tanks and huge... slow levels this is probably for you. But I would probably avoid it.

A decent reworking of the original, but those allergic to cartoons won't find much to enjoy.

It lacks replay value, but forms a good matched set with Brain Age.

If you haven't done so already, do yourself a favor and get a copy of "Dark Cloud 2," which plays a bit like this and is a lot better. Steambot Chronicles isn't a bad game - it's just not very good.

Tourist Trophy delivers to motorcycle fans the same sort of thrill that Gran Turismo delivers to auto aficionados. The only downside is that there’s far fewer bike makers involved in Tourist Trophy than there were auto makers involved in even the first Gran Turismo.

SmackDown vs. Raw 2008 may be the only major pro wrestling title in town, but it's a good one and, unlike Madden with the NFL license, doesn't let its exclusivity lead to a lack of innovation and improvement. A solid upgrade!

A solid, if silent, installment in the critically-acclaimed Shin Megami Tensei series, Devil Summoner delivers the goods but falls short of greatness.

This is a game that will only satisfy the most die-hard of adventure fanatics. This game lacks the essential spark of life to make an adventure game come to life.

Rome may not have been built in a day, but with Caesar IV it can be; ironically, a day is about all you’ll be able to take of this game. Economic micromanagement can be taxing for the casual player and the plain combat system is far from engaging.

Both more of the same and a little less. The challenges don’t hold their appeal for long and a lot of the problems from the first game have reappeared in this one, but anyone looking for a racing game that rewards you for knocking over fences and road signs will be hard pressed to find better.

Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 is just too little, too late, and released at the worst time imaginable. It is a game that was quite frankly doomed to be forgotten.

Just Cause had potential to be a GTA-style game on par with the GTA series itself. Unfortunately, a short story mode and a lack of much else to do robs this game of its staying power.

The parachuting mechanic just isn't well-realized enough to levitate this game (ha) beyond its problems, and there are much better titles on the market this year anyways. Skip it.

All-Pro is still playing at a collegiate level; while not bad in multiplayer online, there’s simply no depth for the single player who is looking to carry a franchise through to greatness over several seasons; that feature’s just completely MIA.

PS2 owners without a PSP or 360 should get this in a heartbeat, but know that you’re getting some really worn-out hand-me-downs. PS2 owners with a PSP or 360 should stick to the games on those platforms.
