Elite Beat Agents is a ridiculously silly music-rhythm game with a wacky song list, a laughably bizarre story, and fantastic gameplay. In other words, it’s just about everything a music-rhythm game should be, really.

Tony Hawk games have evolved over time, and this title shows that it has an eye on the future, and keeping the franchise fresh. There is a distinct focus to make this game have a certain atmosphere, and it succeeds. This is my new favorite in the series.

Nintendo finally gets around to making up for Yoshi’s Touch and Go with this amazing follow up to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island. Easily one of the best in the genre, Yoshi’s Island DS is a fun, colorful, and energetic platform game that every Nintendo DS owner should play.

This game is so imaginative and fun, it can appeal to anyone, young or old, and regardless of whether or not you’ve ever played a Dragon Quest game or even an RPG.

If you're a fan of Silent Hill, you need to buy this. And if you're a publisher releasing titles on UMD, you need to get this so you can see how it should be done.

The only way this game could be any better is if it were WiFi compatible.

There are so few games that get air combat right, but Ace Combat hits the nail on the head. From the huge scale air support missions to the vicious online dogfights, everything about this game is perfect. Its limited appeal is offset by the fact it serves that audience so well.

This should be the template for translating fighting games to the Wii, while it is modeled around DBZ's strange combat with a few tweaks, there is a lot of potential.

Gunstar Super Heroes is a wonderful game and deserves, nay, needs, to be in anyone's GBA collection.

Puzzle Quest does an amazing job bringing together the puzzle and RPG genres together in a game that is easily one of the best XBLA titles this year. Don't miss it.

A supremely wonderful adventure game with some dark subject matter. Though it has some faults, they are very small and don't really detract from the great story. Get this if you love a good mystery adventure.

Adventure gamers should have bought into the season package, but those looking to test the waters might do well to go ahead and start here.

Undertow is a whole lot of fun, and it delivers a full size game in a small package. The classic arcade action makes it easy to pick up, but it manages to deliver enough depth to keep you engaged.
