The story is unique but a little slow for a major portion of the game. And, though the game does last for around 20 hours, there is nothing more than the main game to keep you playing.

It's tough to put down when you start, and even when it's over you'll be back. The Challenge Missions, all the collectibles, and guaranteed DLC means this one will be spinning up in your console for months to come.

The combat system, once you get the hang of it, is surprisingly deep and engaging, and it does well to support each characters inherent strengths and weaknesses.

When you consider the sheer volume of gameplay and the quality and uniqueness of the experience, Metroid Prime Trilogy is one heck of a value.

The game's visuals are on par with other DS FPS titles out there and 1-4 player wireless download play is a nice addition for any DS game. However, this game really has nothing more to get excited about as the dark and unrefined level design, dull A.I., and flawed weapons make the game difficult to enjoy.

A run-of-the-mill action/adventure game—sort of a Zelda game for kids with some pretty serious mechanical issues under the hood.

The game is really that good and reminds me so much of the great games Black Isle used to produce.
