Playing as a Werewolf should be fun and exciting, simple as that. Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood doesn’t come close to offering that. Between the dull and laborious Human and Wolf gameplay and the lackluster Werewolf gameplay, it’s difficult to recommend Earthblood to anyone. Above story and visuals, gameplay for this type of game should be king. Instead, Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood ends up being too sheepish.- Digital Chumps

Overall, Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia is well put together and does what it sets out to do which is provide low-stress, family-friendly entertainment for as long as you want it to. The added depth in the world and its characters as well as the thoroughness of the brawling system and the checks and balances between abilities and Bakugan allow players to dive in and optimize their team and curb their competitive appetite. As long as you look at it for what it is, Champions of Vestroia is worth the look for anyone that’s a fan of the game, the toys, or is looking for a game to enjoy while killing time.- Digital Chumps

NASCAR 21: Ignition is a new start for the brand. We need to remember that. That being said, this is a very disappointing launch for a game. The overall gameplay lacks in many ways, the AI is incompetent at times and struggles to understand, there are some larger glitches that can easily take you out of the game and ruin the experience as well. The paint booth and career mode are very good and fun to go through. That is about it. I want to add that other users and players are reporting that playing on PC is bringing a bit better of an experience so if you are looking for the game, that might be your best bet as of now. I still think there is a lot of hope for the franchise. There are some things here that are positive foundations. However, NASCAR 21: Ignition has just missed the racing line and slammed the outside wall.- Digital Chumps

I have played a few local battles, but have not put much time or had much luck finding any games online. There is also a My Room area where you can review your stats for the game as far as number of times having played each mode, number of panels flipped (gets into the thousands fairly quickly), and how often you have visited the three arenas. Flip Wars is very basic title no matter how you slice it. From the ho-hum presentation to the lack of any real depth in any of the modes, this is a borderline textbook casual mobile game. It doesn’t do much for me, but if you’re into this kind of game, you could spend $10 in less enjoyable ways.- Digital Chumps

Dreamcast Sampler would have been a more apt title. After putting together the wonderful Ultimate Genesis Collection and the stellar Sega Ages line, it's hard not to feel like Sega dropped the ball with Dreamcast Collection.- Digital Chumps

There is something inherently relaxing about hearing cows moo in the distance while I drive a tractor to my cornfield at sunrise. And, when I feel lazy I can hire someone to drive my tractor for me. Back and forth. Up and down. Back and forth. It’s mesmerizing and boring all at the same time; and so is Farming Simulator 2015.- Digital Chumps

Bubsy In: The Purrfect Collection from Limited Run Games and Atari is a solid trip down memory lane that features good add-ons and a worthy refurbished 3D version of Bubsy 3D. Now, that said, the collection might be tough for modern gamers to get into because of its difficulty and stiff controls, as the titles certainly belong in the ‘90s from whence they came. Ultimately, it’s a good collection for Bubsy fans and video game history enthusiasts.- Digital Chumps

It's not perfect, it's not from a big budget studio, isn't 100+ hours, and it doesn't say Scrolls, Age, or Souls on the box, but any fan of the genre should give it a legit shot -- I think they'll be pleasantly surprised as I was.- Digital Chumps

Despite some very annoying bugs that absolutely need to be addressed, the game is both a wonderful online experience and an underrated solo adventure if you enjoy the exploration aspect of games such as No Man’s Sky.- Digital Chumps

It's got its fair share of flaws, some of which could be patched-up, but I found the sum of Deadfall Adventures' parts good enough, and more importantly fun enough, to keep playing. Anyone that enjoys FPS games and who aren't too spoiled by AAA quality titles is likely to find at least several fun hours with Deadfall.- Digital Chumps

Lord of Arcana is one of those games that you probably either love or hate. If you like this specific JRPG genre, you should definitely give it a look. But if you don't, there isn't anything about Lord of Arcana that will change your mind.- Digital Chumps

Bodycount has its place, but for the full price and at this time of year, it's hard to recommend for purchase for any gamer who needs to pick and choose his way through this upcoming holiday gaming season. Ultimately, it manages to be fun enough to play in spite of a variety of key issues in the design and execution.- Digital Chumps

Ultimate Tekken Bowl comes to Tekken 7 with a suite of new costumes that do not work inside of Ultimate Tekken Bowl. This transparent dissonance ironically harmonizes with Tekken 7's initial release. In the absence of content—Tekken Bowl, while dependable, has hardly changed in seventeen years—just stuff the box with costumes and get it out the door. Whether it's part of Tekken 7's $25 season pass or a standalone $14 product, Ultimate Tekken Bowl feels cheap and empty.- Digital Chumps

Overall, between the microtransactions and graphics balanced with the gameplay and storyline – I would argue that the game is pretty decent. I don’t get to have my own Pegasus or be trained by Phil the Centaur, but being a Paladin God who saves people is a pretty decent experience, even without the Muses to sing about my experiences.- Digital Chumps

Uncanny Valley thrives in the unknown and dies in the familiar. Playing is a push and pull between two opposing conditions, and in time perseveration shoves mystery over the edge and becomes a dominating force. Consequence, the commanding authority of Uncanny Valley, is resistible when it's ultimately undermined by routine.- Digital Chumps

Distorted textures and hulking polygons may not feel as chic or romantic as pixel art, but Back in 1995's paean to the 32-bit era extends beyond aesthetic cognizance. It's a vehicle for the sentiment and devotion of its author, and approach may be limited to a shared fondness of that time and place.- Digital Chumps

While I don’t believe that this game is groundbreaking for the genre, I think that it brought unique additions to it. The level design and art style work well with the subject matter of the game. The weapon component system and environmental hazards are a great feature that I have not seen implemented like this in the past.- Digital Chumps

Right now, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City could have used a few more months to work some issues out in beta testing. I know time is money in business, but Resident Evil fans need a more put together title than what REORC offers. I love the arcade feeling to it, but the execution could have used a bit more work.- Digital Chumps

The core idea sounds fun and with a bit more polish and deepening of the Campaign Extinction could’ve been a pretty decent action-adventure hack-and-slash. As it is, it’s a poorly executed homage of far better games which, in all honesty, are far more worthy of your time.- Digital Chumps

The game controls like a first-person shooter should, which facilitates the combat process, of which, there is a lot. Unfortunately, there isn’t much in the way of exploration or gameplay variety. Players advance to the next blue dot and kill whatever enemies spawn.- Digital Chumps

Pixel Gear seeks enrichment from the path of least resistance. Its virtual shooting gallery is adequate enough to qualify as a game, but its vacant ambition prohibits sustained engagement or durability. The bare minimum is a discouraging target. Pixel Gear's gunplay is not capable of aiming any higher.- Digital Chumps

I was hoping for a lot more from Puzzler Mind Gym 3D, but the lackluster presentation and game layout, coupled with the poor use of 3D, made this another one of those inferior brain games that only serious puzzle and brain game fans should consider for purchase.- Digital Chumps

The sum of the parts makes for a game that’s very much aimed at GI Joe fans, and that’s great. There are a lot of fan service games out there, most of which have no interest from me, but this one did. Between that nostalgia and innate interest, and recognizing very early on that this game is by far best played with a couch co-op buddy, GI Joe Operation Blackout is fun in spurts. I enjoyed the different feel to the characters and the story was entertaining as well. There’s a lot of pretty good elements to the game, but repetitive level design and gameplay, blah AI, and aiming woes taint the experience considerably — not necessarily to deal-breaker territory, but just proceed with caution.- Digital Chumps
