    Ultimate Tekken Bowl can be a blast with friends, but for its asking price, it's hard not to feel like there should be more meat on its bones. It's a fun Tekken 7 extra, but it's far from an essential purchase.

    Ultimate Tekken Bowl is exactly what the name suggests: Tekken 7 characters bowling with nothing more. It is the basic of basics that doesn’t offer anything new or exciting to set it apart from the likes of other bowling games. Even if you’re a fan of the Tekken 7 cast, you’ll be rather disappointed that all the animations, greetings, and ending animations are copy and pasted right into the Ultimate Tekken Bowl giving the feeling that it’s a cheap regurgitation of the main game, just in a bowling setting.

    Ultimate Tekken Bowl comes to Tekken 7 with a suite of new costumes that do not work inside of Ultimate Tekken Bowl. This transparent dissonance ironically harmonizes with Tekken 7's initial release. In the absence of content—Tekken Bowl, while dependable, has hardly changed in seventeen years—just stuff the box with costumes and get it out the door. Whether it's part of Tekken 7's $25 season pass or a standalone $14 product, Ultimate Tekken Bowl feels cheap and empty.

    Tekken 7’s Ultimate Tekken Bowl is only worth it for season pass holders or die-hard fans of the original Tekken Bowl. Other than some cool extra costumes (which are only usable in the main game), there really isn’t much here to get excited about.

    After a bare bones release for Tekken 7 the first dlc is er well bare bones too. Don't get me wrong the fun to be had playing Tekken Bowl isAfter a bare bones release for Tekken 7 the first dlc is er well bare bones too. Don't get me wrong the fun to be had playing Tekken Bowl is great but no online support is very dissapointing. Considering it was included for free before along with the barebones release of Tekken 7 its hard to justify the price. This dlc is not going to give you any badly missed fighters, endings in arcade or team battle but its got some new bikinis and school uniforms. I would have no problem with the new costumes mind but would gladly replace them with Lei or Baek or another mode.… Expand
