Oblivion is good, but it's a flawed good. It's a different experience in many ways to previous Elder Scrolls games, but, at the same time, it's still the familiar world Elder Scrolls fans know and love. It has the usual kickass story, but the difficulty curve is a bit wobbly, to say the least, and, in general, it's a story of give and take.- Da Gameboyz

Overall, Disney Universe is one of the more charming games to arrive on the PS3 this holiday season. The game never takes itself too seriously and manages to effective accomplish what it set out to do and that is please Disney fans. Call of Duty manages to raise the bar with each game that arrives year after year and Modern Warfare 3 is no exception, except this time the franchise has made a much bigger leap than it has in years past. For starters, the online game is the deepest and richest CoD multiplayer experience to date and the Spec Ops co-operative mode is worth the price of admission alone.- Da Gameboyz

GoldenEye 007: Reloaded brings the classic game into the modern world. I can't help but think if Rocksmith had come out years ago before any of the other music/rhythm games that use a virtual guitar it would probably be the premier guitar based video game. That being said, Rocksmith is quite a different game and can stand alone in its own genre, as there is nothing available on the market that competes with it. Ubisoft has hit the nail on the head with this innovative title.- Da Gameboyz

If you are glutton for punishment and are looking for a hardcore gaming experience that will test your patience and mental toughness, then Dark Souls for the Xbox 360 is for you. Whether you're a casual player or someone who is hardcore and looking to top the leaderboards, Forza 4's great controls, ton of game modes, and endless options make it a racing game that is very playable for all who take to the virtual road. Sure, it isn't perfect as I take exception to some of the AI tactics and how the force feedback through the Xbox 360 Wheel feels excessive and artificial. Despite the shortcomings though Forza 4 is the ultimate playground for car and driving aficionados.- Da Gameboyz

Another year, comes another Madden game. While this years version once again delivers, and certainly does the NFL proud, it is still however a Madden game. The core game remains the same and despite all the enhancements, Madden NFL 12 looks and feels very similar to last year's iteration. Hardcore fans will inevitably purchase the game, but for those fringe fans who already own Madden NFL 11 it is hard to recommend dropping another 60 bucks on a game that plays almost identical to last years. Unfortunately, Dragon Age II feels like a filler title to get from Dragon Age: Origins to Dragon Age III and to somewhat satisfy fans in the meantime.- Da Gameboyz

Tactics Ogre Let Us Cling Together meaningfully expands on the original game's deep interactive story and dynamic battle system, showing as much respect to prospective players as it does to its source material.- Da Gameboyz

The fast paced action, smooth gameplay and variety of units provide a much needed boost to the single player game play of the series. Even with some minor annoyances with the menus and on some loading screens the overall game makes up for it in spades, especially at a reasonable price tag on Steam.- Da Gameboyz

Overall, Rango for the Xbox 360 is one of the better, if not the best, movie based titles released this year. Whether it be platforming sequences, frantic third person shooter chaos, simple puzzle solving elements or stealth sequences where you are avoiding detection, Rango is an entertaining game for young and older fans of the tiny chameleon. While the lack of a cooperative mode and some wonky camera controls are disappointments, the overall Rango package is still very good and is a must buy for those who enjoyed the movie.- Da Gameboyz

Ys Chronicles is an excellent gaming history lesson that will grow on you, should you allow it. However, this game simply isn't made of the same stuff that Felghana and SEVEN are. It feels antiquated and old-hat, but give it a chance, and you're likely to enjoy it.- Da Gameboyz

Fifteen years has gone by and Pokemon has evolved much like many of its Pokemon counterparts, into the best Pokemon version to date. With a whole new region to explore and 150 new Pokemon to discover between the two versions and the ability to play with any other trainer in the whole world, this will be hard to beat in the future. This is by far the best Pokemon ever released.- Da Gameboyz

This is a title that should have done a lot better in sales, but unfortunately because of the circumstances it didn't become as popular as it should have. Critical acclaim sometimes doesn't cut it, but I sure hope with an HD upgrade and being available to download will bring this great title to some more gamers to thoroughly enjoy, if not for the first time but for nostalgia's sake.- Da Gameboyz

Bulletstorm is the equivalent of a summer time big-screen Hollywood blockbuster. Sure it is fun and features plenty of eye candy that pushes the limits of the Xbox 360's hardware, but it lacks in depth and substance.- Da Gameboyz

Killzone 3 is a definite must have for the discerning PS3 owners. With great sound, great visuals, and some very solid gameplay, only the story hurts this whole experience, but all other areas manage to carry the game, including the well implemented multiplayer modes.- Da Gameboyz
