Worth considering for young Avatar fans, and obsessed cinema-goers, but everyone else can safely leave this one for nature to envelop. Or the bargain bins, whichever works.

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is, despite its cutesy appearance, a surprisingly deep strategy-puzzle game.

Telltale Games is definitely on a roll, with Episode 4: The Trial & Execution of Guybrush Threepwood not matching, but actually surpassing the previous three chapters overall in order to help continue the great revival of the Monkey Island brand.

The game does have some potential to host a well rounded sandbox experience but fails through what seems like an experimental, first-stab-at-it approach with little in the way of refining and testing.

Junior Classic Games knows its target crowd, and yet does as much as it can to stuff things up for them. Youngsters will get a kick out of their first forays into popular paper games like Hangman and wordsearches, as well as the different animals on show, but there is nothing here to keep them playing beyond the initial try or two.

Overall, it's a bit lacking, but this is a nice original game that could feasibly keep the family entertained for part of a rainy day.

Q-Games only did the one title for the bit Generations line-up on GBA and it still proves to be as addictive nearly four years down the line on DSiWare.

It may not live up to Super Mario Galaxy in some people’s eyes, yet when it comes to good, old fashioned platform action, Shigeru Miyamoto & Co. have conjured up quite the treat.

Phantasy Star Zero is a great action RPG and uses the DS' online capabilities well in spite of Nintendo's limitations, but it is let down by its inconvenience for portable play.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Reflex Edition may be a mouthful to say, but it's one of the most well made and truly great games on the Wii.

The ABC Murders may lack the attention to detail and high levels of presentation found in the Layton titles, yet it should definitely appeal to the same market sector thirsty for more puzzle solving.

Style Boutique is enjoyable, though does not last long - although that may partially be because it is quite addictive. It can be repetitive but you are always able to create different styles for each customer. Recommended to any budding fashionistas out there!

Sticking close to a tried and tested formula, The Next Chapter refines what the first Drawn to Life brought to the DS, yet doesn’t solve the all-too basic platforming issue, only makes it more diverse.

2D games are enjoying a resurgence on Nintendo's home console this generation, and with its unique premise, Drawn to Life could have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with them. It's unfortunate, then, that the series' transition to disc has brought about new problems that have, if anything, made the basic platforming ever more apparent, and made it rely even more on the editing tools, which cannot hold the rest of the game up.

At the end of the day die-hard pet simulator fans will enjoy the game, young children might get a kick or two out of it for a little while but we can't see it sticking in the long haul.

Not a game you can fault really, as whilst the appeal is limited, Family Game Night does a superb job of replicating its real life equivalents for its target audience.

Irritatingly, this game does so little wrong apart from being average and run of the mill. The biggest irk is the lack of anything from the Spore franchise that made it stand out.
