Call of Duty: Ghosts is everything that Call of Duty titles have been in the past: fast-paced action and the usual competitive multiplayer with a few twists thrown in.

This new 3D version offers the same experience, only improved upon by modern additions and made to look even more incredible thanks to the excellent implementation of stereoscopic 3D, which breathes new life into a great classic. SEGA fans should certainly appreciate the effort put into this one, although a true full screen option would have been most welcome.

Fans of frantic action and beat 'em up style fighting will be overawed by how intense Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is.

Whilst not the superb Professor Layton competitor that people were expecting, Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights is a pleasant surprise, proving to be an intriguing prospect on its own merits.

Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove 3D is not a bad game, but it falls short of being a great game due to its long dialogue sequences that can be easily identified as unnecessary padding.

Bravely Default is classic Final Fantasy in everything but name only.

Coaster Crazy Deluxe is a nice addition to the rollercoaster simulation genre and has enough content included that even the most avid designers will be satisfied with what they can create.

Code of Princess plays like an old school game, but as a package manages to feel fresh due to its witty script, complete with sharp voice acting.

Summing up, Brunch Panic does what it sets out to do very well. It offers a few hours of fun tap and swipe gameplay that's easy to pick up, albeit one that should be enjoyed in short bursts due to the repetitive nature of the gameplay.

Whereas in 3D Super Hang-On, on one hand there was great controls that made the 3D effect useless and on the other there was an excellent 3D effect that couldn't be used in conjunction with the gyro-sensor controls, here all of its great additions can be used combined together without any restrictions.

Totally unexpectedly, SEGA trumps Nintendo's own line of 3D Classics on its own system with a more feature-rich experience coming literally at the price of a regular NES game sold with no graphical or gameplay improvements whatsoever.

Toki Tori is still the challenging mix of platforming and puzzles that we knew and loved, even more so in this new Wii U version with the few little improvements bringing the experience to a whole new level of enjoyment.

The Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Paths is a good game that stays faithful to the source material. It's hard to recommend this to anyone other than fans of the show and younger players who may find some challenge in the puzzles contained within the game.

This is the return to form that long-time fans have been wishing for in the classic 2D format for the Zelda franchise for many years; it is the greatest entry in a very long time.

A pure platformer if ever there was one, Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai continues its predecessor's line of top precision platforming and striking visuals, yet is not quite at the level of carving out a non-generic look of its own.

All in all, Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy shows there is still plenty of mileage in the series, but as time has been called on this particular line of Hershel Layton adventures, it proves to be a fitting closure with some great twists at the story's conclusion, along with clever plot elements that tie this precursor trilogy back into the first ever game, The Curious Village.

EDGE is a great example of value for money. With over a hundred levels to conquer, plus a familiar ranking system, there is plenty to do to keep players busy.

People can say what they will about the game's sexual content; Senran Kagura Burst's real failings are in its gameplay and its level design. Were those deficiencies addressed, it would be a solid title.

It's more than just a simple Mario title with multiplayer bolted on. The game weaves together a plethora of unique, compelling and occasionally downright bizarre ideas that simply work.

While some infrequent instances of poor game design prevent the game from being an absolute success, it's still a very worthy entry in the Sonic franchise that can keep up with and, in some areas, even surpass its home console counterpart.

Even as a simple update with 150 brand new puzzles, Picross e3 is always going to be a guaranteed great purchase at under £5 for both those who are already addicted to this simple but testing series, and to people that have never tried a Picross game before.

Undead Bowling on Nintendo 3DS eShop has a lot of small problems that add into larger issues, but this game still has a lot of fun to offer. There is a nice original game at work here, but it definitely needed a little more care and attention, and sadly proves to be one of the weaker releases on the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

Only some poor touch screen implementation and a lack of motivation for constantly coming back to replay to better scores mar what is otherwise a faithful accompaniment to The Cube on TV.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked is quite a good game, but in the end still somewhat disappointing as a remake.

On 3DS eShop, while doing away with the motion controls, it manages to remain the cool one-on-one first-person brawler that it already was on WiiWare and uses the 3D effect marvellously

It isn't without its flaws in some of the duff games, but is a well-rounded package to consider for Wii U.

A great addition to a growing library of top eShop platform puzzle titles.

Not a good start for Mordecai and Rigby's first video game.
