It still boasts some great artwork and dramatic story beats while serving up a few interesting surprises, even if lacking in the action department.- COGconnected

If you’re looking for a simple, yet challenging rhythm style game, then Senran Kagura: Bon Appetit! – Full Course might fit the bill. The game has some genuinely funny moments if you can appreciate sexual humour and there are an extensive amount of almost-nude, busty girls with a ton of over-the-top bounce.- COGconnected

The game isn’t terrible, though, it looks great and it still manages to be fun in short bursts and with other people locally. There’s something inherently satisfying about seeing your friends visibly devastated when their dreams of an architecture career come crashing down in front of their eyes. But that only lasts for a short time because Tricky Towers doesn’t have enough content to warrant the $16.99 (!!!) price tag.- COGconnected

Yesterday Origins is yet another game to add to the point & click genre that serves up a fairly unique story. It may not be the “must play” point & click adventure game of the year, but it’s one that you can escape in fairly enjoyably.- COGconnected

The story, especially at first, is a bit sparse, and does not necessarily hook you in right away, but the game’s fun action keep you playing long enough for the more interesting narrative aspects to kick in.- COGconnected

Ultimately, Lithium undoes the good it tries to bring to the table with how aggravating it actually is. If you miss you the old Resident Evil games, then just buy the remastered versions of them. This game will try your patience far more than it will give you feelings of nostalgia.- COGconnected

Beholder does an excellent job of making you feel hopeless. I was immediately infected by the game’s clouded atmosphere. I felt ready to do whatever it took to keep my household afloat. And while certain gameplay elements broke this spell, the game is worth playing. Even the most saintly players can find a little awful in themselves with Beholder.- COGconnected

My gripe in this case is that there’s just so much lost potential with Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers that between it’s brief 6 hour run time, it’s boring gameplay, and it’s seemingly soulless presentation that it’s hard to lend praise to this game.- COGconnected

Going into Weeping Doll I was hoping to experience a horror game in the glory that is VR. Sadly, Weeping Doll didn’t deliver much of anything, except a simple puzzle solving game that feels undercooked.- COGconnected

I have noticed considerable framerate inconsistencies when trying to get around a level quickly or when using the spyglass to zoom. I feel as though I should mention these issues, but they didn’t detract from my experience of the game. I’m still in love with the level design and I still think the ability system favors the use of one or two abilities.- COGconnected

Hollow Realization does a splendid job in providing solid gameplay and producing an original story. As a player who does not like replaying the same story told in other mediums, Hollow Realization was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise repetitive series. The amount of character customization, party options, and side quests will be sure to keep players satisfied.- COGconnected

That’s the most disappointing part about The Journey: it lifts you up to take you back down. Great graphics are overshadowed by weak gameplay which is then bolstered by a great cast of characters.- COGconnected

Tyranny is an important entry in RPGs as it exchanges good vs. evil for order vs. chaos and demands the player to consider what they believe is just in a cruel world. A powerful achievement in its own right, Tyranny is an absolute must for players who loved Pillars of Eternity and seek a rich, engaging tale of how people act in difficult circumstances.- COGconnected

I can’t imagine that anyone would be blown away by any one part of Wuppo. The art is wonky, the combat is simple, and the lore is kind of silly. But it’s when these aspects combine that Wuppo’s charm begins to appear, and it’s a charm that can’t be stifled by any flaws.- COGconnected

Overall Watch Dogs 2 is an improvement over the original. A fresh new protagonist and setting drastically overhaul the sombre nature of the original and create an enjoyable sandbox in the process. While Watch Dogs 2 doesn’t reinvent the wheel when it comes to open world gameplay, it does provide enough creative ideas to keep even the most seasoned gamer amused.- COGconnected

If you are an avid reader of Visual Novels, I would certainly suggest picking up Enigma:. While it doesn’t have the most outstanding storyline, the execution of it is very well done. Along with multiple endings, a beautiful soundtrack and a memorable cast of characters, I fully believe this game will make a great addition to your virtual library.- COGconnected

Overall, Small Radios Big Televisions is a memorable journey. Devoured in a single setting, the game provides an experience more akin to exploration and introspection than challenge. Make no mistake, this is art. A beautiful trip packed in moulded off-white plastic and labeled with a sharpie from the junk drawer. Put on your headphones and enjoy the ride.- COGconnected

Featuring upgradeable weapons, unlockable combat companions, and hidden collectibles to find, Blue Rider’s biggest problem is overzealous movement controls that make fine-tuned bullet dodging trickier than it needs to be. While it does not feature a story or basic plot, it makes up for it with fast action, explosions, and replayability as you try to reach the top of the leaderboard.- COGconnected

Like two ki blasts meeting and struggling to destroy one another, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is a mixed bag of things. It captures the spirit of the anime with its frenetic combat and ridiculous overacting but stumbles mightily with an impenetrable tutorial and convoluted structure.- COGconnected

Xenoraid brings some interesting ideas to the genre. Unfortunately, the changes take away from what really defines the genre, leaving it in a sort of limbo between genres. Despite this, Xenoraid remains a fun co-op title with an enticing survival mode.- COGconnected

Pixel Gear gave me a little glimpse of what first person shooters can feel like in VR. While the shooting mechanics are solid, the overall game just feels bland and repetitive. In addition to that, the short length makes this a game you won’t be experiencing for very long.- COGconnected
