Despite its many promises, this game falls short, with redundant gameplay, unreliable controls, and lackluster storytelling.

Runic hasn't dumbed down the experience, they've removed the fluff and distilled it down to the truly fun parts. Add in a few innovations and what you've got is Torchlight; a game that raises the expectations for dungeon-crawling action RPGs by being not just fine-tuned but affordable as well.

Gamers should find that Tropico 3 is one of the better city-building RTS games to come out in a while, and although it may not be much different from its predecessors and its online "features" don't amount to more than social media "lite," what it does offer is simply solid and polished gameplay.

The original MotorStorm and the follow-up, Pacific Rift, are both better games than this, and those who are looking to replicate those experiences will come away disappointed. However, this is still a pretty good, late-life PS2 racing game, and if you're looking to squeeze a few extra drops of life out of your PS2, then this is a competent racer for a good price.

It's not incredibly long or unique, but Marvel Super Hero Squad will give you your money's worth if you're OK with an average brawler with no new ideas. The individual battles give it some longevity, and the ability to watch the cutscenes individually is a nice touch.

The main story mode is short, and there isn't enough depth to the battle system to keep tournament mode relevant for long. Still, Dragon Ball fans will still have a great time with this one.

If you are limited to just one console, or you plan on playing with youngsters, FIFA Soccer 10 for Wii is a quality game that does just enough to satisfy the majority of players' soccer lust.

FIFA 10 is still a great soccer game like its predecessors, but the problem is that it's just not different enough. There's a lot to do in the game, and tons of licensed teams and players, but series veterans will feel like they've been here before.

Lots of new recipes and activities are beefed up by the widest set of modes and features yet. A lot of re-hash material but it's a pretty big sampling of stuff to do.

Overall, CW for the PSP is a slightly better version of the game than the DS original. Although the mini-games do feel a little out of place without touch-screen controls, everything else is just as good if not better than it was on the DS.

Gameplay elements are fun but we'd have liked to see beefier musical features.
