Releasing an older, inferior version of Bomberman on the GBA when there are already plenty of great, newer version available surely must be an indication of madness.- Cheat Code Central

The first-person shooting genre is aching for some innovation, and Deep Silver’s foundation could have been that trailblazer. Unfortunately, the storyline, game mechanics, and the audio-visual quality issues just don’t cut it. Homefront: The Revolution is better suited for the bargain bin rather than the hefty price tag AAA games are known for.- Cheat Code Central

All in all, Resident Evil Zero doesn’t even come close to being called a remastered version because it offers nothing but minor visual upgrades.- Cheat Code Central

It’s just unremarkable, which is disappointing after all the remarks we all made about it. It’s just a game. It’s mediocre. It’s run of the mill. It’s another indie game that uses another established formula to give us a few hours of repetitive gameplay that may or may not be to your liking. It doesn’t do anything grand and innovative, but it also doesn’t do anything wrong or heinous outside of its own overhyped controversy.- Cheat Code Central

I’m going to be honest with you, I haven’t finished Escape Dead Island yet. I just can’t bring myself to. The game plods along at a snail’s pace and just never hooks you. It’s certainly not the worst game I have ever played, but it’s bland and generic and feels rushed and unfocused.- Cheat Code Central

If you're not a kid, I can say with certainty that this game is not one of those kid-friendly games that also appeals to adults. If you have or know a kid, she or he might be temporarily diverted by the cool Invizimals, but I suspect that most kids who are old enough to read the game's text will be quickly bored.- Cheat Code Central

It’s not a horrendous travesty that all action RPG players should avoid, and similarly it’s not a stellar blockbuster that all Dark Souls addicts should pick up. It just feels very mediocre and generic. Nothing stands out about the game and nothing really holds it down aside from its graphics at points.- Cheat Code Central

Lords of Shadow 1 suffered from feeling like a God of War clone with poor platforming. Lords of Shadow 2, on the other hand, no longer feels like a clone. It just feels like a generic action game. It has a story you don’t care about, a mashy combat system, and generic enemies and locales. The only good thing about this game is its voice acting, but even Robert Carlyle can’t save this one.- Cheat Code Central

It’s just a quickly thrown together mess of mechanics that feels like it’s trying and failing to be an open world American style RPG. Frankly, you aren’t missing anything if you totally pass this title up.- Cheat Code Central

Fun games can be simple, and simple games are often fun, but there's a tedium at the heart of Super Motherload that it just can't shake.- Cheat Code Central

Sonic Team, I’m just going to spell this out for you. This is not what we want from a Sonic game. Don’t go back to the drawing board. Don’t try to re-invent Sonic’s image again. Just give us the stuff that works from your last few successful titles and call it a day.- Cheat Code Central

I thought after the growing pains of the first few levels, the game and I would fall into our groove and things would improve...Try as I might, it just never happened.- Cheat Code Central

Maybe Imageepoch just wanted to experiment. I can’t fault them for that, and they certainly had guts in putting this game together. NIS America, too, for bringing it overseas. I’m only sorry that the concept and effort didn’t come together into a cohesive whole.- Cheat Code Central

The aesthetics of the game create an illusion of quality. God Mode, at its core, feels as cheap as the price tag might suggest. The one-note shooting can’t sustain the game through all five maps.- Cheat Code Central

Alien Spidy is so close to being an enjoyable, active puzzle experience, but it lacks the fluidity, both in gameplay and in progression, that would allow it to be a truly memorable and engaging experience.- Cheat Code Central

It isn’t that Akaneiro is terrible. It might have been released earlier than it perhaps should have been, lacking gameplay features that would have made its freemium faults less egregious.- Cheat Code Central

Black Ops Declassified isn't a Call of Duty game. It's like one of those grey-market cameras that has an almost-recognizable brand name on the front. And Activision, in all of their laziness, may have inadvertently kicked off the Vita's funeral procession.- Cheat Code Central
