Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is a slice of action gaming joy well worth a look for fans of the series and an absolute must-own for newbies. If you’ve never dabbled in Uncharted, get it immediately. You are about to have so much fun with a controller in your hands that it should probably be illegal.

I expected a lot more from this title and it definitely disappointed.

Pridefest probably seemed like a very good idea, and it certainly is a game that represents not only LGBT culture, but one of its most prominent events. Instead, what’s been delivered is a boring, stale, derivative free-to-play game that isn’t even free. It’s a game that fails to accurately depict the LGBT community outside of rainbow flags and outdated ideals, and fails harder at being fun.

The Superchargers aesthetic fits in perfectly to the continuing Skylanders franchise. Not much has been updated in the way of gameplay, other than the addition of the Superchargers, but if it ain’t broke...

Undertale is like Earthbound if it were a Hayao Miyazaki movie: strange, interesting, and profoundly unique. The ways in which each little choice can affect the game will constantly keep you guessing, and its multiple paths are each truly moving experiences capped off by a “true ending” that actually had me weeping by its sheer force of power.

There's some interesting stuff for arcade aficionados, but Circa Infinity isn't quite there for anyone else.

Afro Samurai 2 is so bad it actually made me physically disheartened to play it. If you’re a fan of the series, and let’s face it, the only reason you’re playing the sequel or reading this review is because you are a fan, do yourself a favor and just play the first Afro Samurai game. Aside from a solid soundtrack, there is nothing likeable about this game.

Serious basketball fans will no doubt enjoy it, but if you’re not a serious basketball fan, while it might make a decent game for when you have friends over, I think Mario Party would do the exact same thing; And at least no one needs to understand Mario Party to enjoy it.

It’s a difficult thing to put a score to. A normal free experience might be valued against the other things you could be spending your time on, but this isn’t something you’ll interact with very often. Give it a try and see if it resonates with you, but don’t expect to fall in love.

The game makes such a point to establish itself as a tangential side story to the franchise that I have trouble recommending it to even the most avid of Persona collectors.

At its best, Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance is charming. At its worst, it’s very tedious. Unfortunately, its lack of flow and terrible voice acting really hurt any momentum the game picks up from the fun and rewarding parts of the game.

Disney Infinity 3.0 definitely managed to improve on last year’s model. With the fluid combat, even more Toy Box Hub options, and gameplay to cater to every play style, there are endless hours of fun here and I could write pages and pages for this review, but no one wants to read a novel.

Skyshine’s Bedlam is definitely rough around the edges, and could certainly do with a few balance fixes (and a more rewarding ending), but as a package, I still found it to have a charm that its faults couldn’t quite spoil—if only just.
