Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a game on par with its predecessor in terms of quality, but that is hard to see when it is covered in garbage business decisions.- CGMagazine

A Hat in Time is a short but great spiritual successor to Super Mario 64 and the best 3D platformer released on PC this year.- CGMagazine

Don’t Stop Believin’ helps to undo a lot of damage of previous episodes, but this more level-headed characterization is five episodes too late.- CGMagazine

Unfortunately, like many of Nintendo’s attempts to capitalize on nostalgia, Mario Party: The Top 100 feels like a party Nintendo threw for themselves and blew the entire budget on banners, cake, and confetti. They forgot to spend on the one thing that makes a party worthwhile: the entertainment.- CGMagazine

Call of Duty: WWII is an excellent return to form for the franchise that unfortunately comes with a lot of hang-ups due to being a multiplayer shooter in 2017. However, the campaign is a blast, the shooting and combat mechanics feel tight, and it looks gorgeous on a 4K screen.- CGMagazine

Objectively, this is the worst version of Doom, but that doesn’t really matter because it is the best version of Doom on the Nintendo Switch. A great campaign with lots to find, a frantic multiplayer with plenty unlockables to work towards, and a few annoying bugs that will hopefully be patched sooner than later. Pending you have a Pro Controller, you’re in for one hell of a time.- CGMagazine

Despite my issues with sidescrolling Sonic games I mentioned earlier, what I appreciate about Mania is that it’s a concise and focused game, with clear goals and philosophies behind its design. Forces feels like the antithesis of that, in that it’s a bloated, self-important mismatch of ideas with some great moments packed in between a lot of nonsense. Forces is fun to play in short bursts, but as an extended experience it feels like it has no idea what it wants to be, or is just incapable of encapsulating it all in one game.- CGMagazine

Rush is a very middle-of-the-road title. Nothing spectacular, yet nothing weighing it down. If you have already played Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure, there is no need to revisit it. The new content of Finding Dory isn’t enough to justify recommending it for a second time. For young fans who have never experienced Rush, it is worth considering, just don’t expect hours of entertainment.- CGMagazine

It’s a fairly significant time investment and, while it doesn’t do anything new with the patented Horizon formula, The Frozen Wilds is jam-packed with side quests, ravenous machines to hunt, and an interesting story. The new enemies are interesting to fight and the new region is a joy to explore.- CGMagazine

Despite its age, Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection holds up well. The graphics are average and the combat can feel a bit basic at times but the game did such a good job of drawing me into its world that I was easily able to forgive its shortcomings.- CGMagazine
