Surviving Mars is a challenging yet engaging city builder that makes me want to colonize Mars again and again.

Yakuza 6 has so much to offer and every moment of it is a joy, even if you can’t always read what they’re saying.

Kirby Star Allies is by far the easiest and shallowest game in the series, but is still an enjoyable experience, especially when played with friends.

The game won’t win any prizes for originality and the final game can be potentially unfair, but it’s still worth checking out.

If you’re bored of the fireball throwing, dragonbone sword wielding classic Fantasy RPG heroes, and want a game that’s both difficult and rewarding, with some tedious but realistic survival mechanics, in a setting that doesn’t take place in an ancient land on a faraway world, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is pretty damn refreshing.

The Royal Pack is a well-realized bundle of miscellany that refines the core Final Fantasy XV experience while reminding us that it's still an incomplete game sixteen months after launch.

Alto’s Odyssey not only serves up a fantastic succession to the original Alto’s Adventure but also delivers a gaming experience for the ages.

My Lovely Daughter is a game that shouldn't be missed by fans of point-and-click games and especially those who are into horror or macabre themes.

In some regards, Layers of Fears is special despite its sometimes clear faults. However it’s somewhat clear lack of polish in its performance can, and most certainly does take away from the otherwise spooky immersion.

Mercenaries Saga Chronicles is about as straightforward as a strategy RPG can be, its greatest asset being an impressive volume of content that eclipses its meager asking price.

Pac-man Championship Edition 2 Plus keeps all the fun and frenetic gameplay that made the original so appealing, a inconsistent frame rate holds back the otherwise great package that shouldn't be missed.

Even without the bugs, Past Cure is a bad game that you should pass on. The story is barely there and nonsensical, the voice acting and writing are atrocious, and the gameplay just isn't enjoyable. If anything, Past Cure gave me more respect for the games it tries to imitate, instead of doing any favors for itself.

Metal Gear Survive is neither a good Metal Gear Solid game nor a good survival game. It feels more like a cynical cash grab due to being not only the most expensive survival game on the market, but also how flagrantly it peppers in the microtransactions.

While Immortal Redneck doesn't necessarily bring anything new to the table, it does successfully combine the speed of old-school FPS like Unreal Tournament and Quake with roguelike elements to make a pretty fun little game worth your time if you don't mind a little grind.

Despite bringing all the content for its plethora of releases, Payday 2 simply needed a touch more polish to truly feel at home on the Switch. If OVERKILL continuously supports this version of Payday 2 like it supports its PC counterpart, I see a vivid future where rare random framerate issues, unresponsive AI, and blurry textures can truly be a long forgotten memory.
