Dancing in Starlight pays a loving tribute to Persona 5, but without a stronger setlist it doesn’t stand alongside its fellow rhythm game spin-offs.

    Hob
Hob is a beautiful but unoriginal Zelda-like that lacks an interesting story and has mind-numbingly dull combat and exploration.

Predator: Hunting Grounds is a game that feels like a good idea that failed to materialize. I can only recommend the game for serious fans of the long-running franchise; or those who can wait around for the game to develop post-launch, which shouldn’t be acceptable in a property as large as the Predator.

By today’s standards, The Silver Case is not a great game. It’s a chore to navigate, the pacing is dreadfully slow at times, and the visual presentation, while unique, begins to grate on the eyes after a while. However, when this came out in 1999, it was unlike anything else available at the time, and allowed Suda51 to begin his career as one of the most original developers in the industry. The story is bizarre but cool, the setting is fun, and the style bounces all over the place (in a good way). Not the best game when looked at in a 2017 context, but for an HD re-release of a genre-bending convention breaker, it does its job.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition falls short in its single player department and even more so when it comes to multiplayer. It’ll be a nostalgic trip for some, but not one that I can promise is worth taking.

BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW is a genuinely obnoxious game that barely understands the things it's trying to be about, let alone how to be scary.

There’s a lot I want to like about My Time at Sandrock, but outdated design and lacklustre visuals hold the game back—especially on the Switch.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song has plenty of great ideas, but it definitely doesn’t do enough to make them work in a 20-hour game. A better effort is needed next time.

Evolve isn’t a bad game, per se, but the rage-inducing technical issues and design oversights, paired with a complete lack of heart-pumping “fight or flight” gameplay that the hype train and the Left 4 Dead series led me to expect have left me feeling unimaginably disappointed, cheated even, and I’m not even one of the countless people who had to pay more than $70 to find this out the hard way.

This isn’t a bad game, if modest in budget, but its console-based—and occasionally sexist—comedy is pretty niche, and it now finds itself going up against that most dreaded of all competition, the entire PC library of RPGs.
