A Hat in Time is a short but great spiritual successor to Super Mario 64 and the best 3D platformer released on PC this year.- CGMagazine

King of Fighters XV set out to “shatter all expectations” and met most of them instead. While a slightly hollow presentation sets its crown crooked, the game’s core is a solid engine and a diverse roster that will warrant longterm play.- CGMagazine

A fine entry to the popular F1 series, F1 22 brings some new things to the table, but suffers from control issues and a lack of things to do.- CGMagazine

Dying Light: The Beast is an incredible evolution in the series by bringing back the movement and weapon feel, and evolving them to feel more brutal, which feels incredible after the overturned nature of what Dying Light 2 gave us.- CGMagazine

At the end of its yarn, Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a fun romp through a craft-inspired world that feels as if it was cut from the same cloth as something like Yoshi’s Crafted World, rather than LittleBigPlanet, however, this is not a bad thing, especially for those looking for a traditional platforming experience. Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a content-rich platformer that can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of age and is a worthy addition to the PlayStation 5 launch line-up.- CGMagazine

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is an okay spin-off of the Yakuza series. The story is fine, but my biggest issue is that it doesn’t really feel inventive, which is usually what Yakuza and Like a Dragon games have in spades.- CGMagazine

Overall, Hot Wheels Unleased 2: Turbocharged builds on the solid foundation of the first game by adding new vehicles, tracks and more importantly new race modes. While the story is bland and forgettable, the gameplay is too much fun for it to hold it back too much.- CGMagazine

With a plethora of visual enhancements and quality of life improvements for GTA V and GTA Online leading the charge (60fps performance, ray-traced shadows and significantly faster loading times chief among them), there’s never been a better, easier or more affordable time to visit San Andreas on current-gen consoles, whether it’s your first trip or if you’ve been away for years.- CGMagazine

Objectively, this is the worst version of Doom, but that doesn’t really matter because it is the best version of Doom on the Nintendo Switch. A great campaign with lots to find, a frantic multiplayer with plenty unlockables to work towards, and a few annoying bugs that will hopefully be patched sooner than later. Pending you have a Pro Controller, you’re in for one hell of a time.- CGMagazine
