A decent board game for the fans of The Witcher universe. Simple and not very atmospheric, but really enjoyable. [01/2015, p.66]- CD-Action

A great game both for those who like to polish their tactics for hours and those who just want some fun in a spare moment. [02/2015, p.66]- CD-Action

Alex Kidd, SEGA’s forgotten mascot that preceded Sonic, returns in a remastered version of the 1986 plartformer. Miracle World DX is faithful to the original game but some new features (e.g. the option to disable the lives limit) made it easier. Although pretty, enhanced graphics failed to convince me completely, as softened edges, noticeably lower contrast, and new foreground objects (that sometimes obscure the action) are a bit confusing. It’s also a shame that you need to complete the game to unlock the classic mode. [09/2021, p.46]- CD-Action

Most Wanted works best when you treat it like mobile games – switch it on for 15 minutes, do a random race with a random car and then turn it off. It's a good arcade racing title closely resembling Burnout: Paradise but it's not exceptional. [CD-Action 13/2012, p.52]- CD-Action

It has some issues (i.e. sluggish animations) but fortunately they are not too annoying to take away the joy of following a well-written story. [CD-Action 02/2013, p.48]- CD-Action

Telltale plucks the same emotional string it always does. The “humans are the real monsters” melody played for the 20th time sounds weak and distant, but Episode 2 does just enough to resonate with the audience, in no small part thanks to Melissa Hutchinson and other actors who managed to give this banal story a semblance of plausibility. Young skateboarding enthusiasts will be better off playing Skate 3, which is a better game in every aspect. THPS HD might be fun for those who remember the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. [10/2012, p.58]- CD-Action

Muv-Luv is full of clichés and the execution of the ideas can’t keep up with their potential, but those ideas are absolutely unique, so you keep playing. [10/2016, p.41]- CD-Action

Thatgamecompany stole our hearts with Journey, and Sky looks like a natural evolution of that concept, as it draws from the ideas, mechanics, setting, character movement and art direction of its predecessor. The problem is, you can only surprise people once with a specific trick. Even if it’s focused slightly different and puts greater emphasis on online features, this “new Journey” will never make the same impression as the original, fresh experience. The joy of exploring new worlds quickly gives way to monotony, especially that a lot of them are disappointingly empty, while trade, mining and piracy are as basic as they can get. [10/2016, p.44]- CD-Action

Delicious art style, excellent music, varied tactical combat – Snowhound’s tactical RPG got some things right, but there’s a strange dissonance between the game’s atmosphere of dark sci-fi and its absurd humor. Had the game offered a deeper strategic layer and something besides exploring wreck after wreck, I probably would have spent more time with it than those 14 hours after which it simply became boring. The End of the Sun could be the truly Slavic game that fans of Eastern European culture have been waiting for. Folk history, a realistic depiction of a bygone era, and objects scanned by photogrammetry - it may be a simple walking sim, but it is also a remarkable project of craftsmanship.- CD-Action

Far Cry 5 is exactly what you would expect from a Far Cry game and not much more. It does the open world really well, but the bland story drags it down. The game touches a sensitive subject, but doesn’t have guts to actually say something and couldn’t convince me even for a minute that what’s happening could be real. What the franchise obviously needs is a new beginning, a leap of faith Assassin’s Creed Origins was brave enough to take. [05/2018, p.56]- CD-Action

Showdown follows the utterly brilliant Unlimited, so the new studio faced a huge challenge. What they came up with is a party spin-off, a decent one but also short-lived, as it offers few minigames (some of which borrow from Asteroids, Elastomania or Flappy Bird). It also features a Sandbox mode, which resembles original Scribblenauts but trails behind it. [05/2018, p.60]- CD-Action

32 soldiers on vast battlefields and interesting tactical options introduced by the possibility to build structures make Starhawk shine in multiplayer – but only on occasion. And the single player campaign only pretends not to be an expanded tutorial. [July 2012, p.66]- CD-Action

Layers of Fear combines both games (properly remade with Unreal Engine 5) and DLCs in a slick, reasonably priced package that binds the two stories together. However, neither the new content nor the graphical upgrade justifies the expense if you’ve already played the originals.- CD-Action

The sequel does everything better than the original Q.U.B.E. and is an absolute joy to look at. It is a great game for younger or less experienced players, because the puzzles, while satisfying, are easy and have single solutions. [05/2018, p.64]- CD-Action

As a whole, Wartales might not be a masterpiece, as it suffers from repetitiveness and lack of polish, but it provides lots of fun. Built on a foundation established by classic RPGs, it offers a varied world that feels alive and is rewarding to explore. The combat is dynamic despite being turn-based and the multitude of available skills lets you develop thousands of builds for your band of mercenaries. Overall, Wartales has huge potential and is definitely worth coming back to.- CD-Action

Turn-based combat – especially later in the game – is enjoyable, but too easy on the normal difficulty level. Visuals resembling old Disney movies are wonderful and music is excellent. It’s a shame that the characters have no voices though, because it would make them easier to attach to. [03/2014, p.64]- CD-Action

In regards to the story and atmosphere, Call of Cthulhu stands tall against any other game in the genre. It’s the rest of the features that’s bringing it down to a level of a quite typical mid-budget game. [13/2018, p.52]- CD-Action
