Despite my initial reservations, Farming Simulator 15 is not boring or tedious, it’s a fantastic amount of fun and definitely worth adding to your collection.

A tough but rewarding game. Get past a steep learning curve and the game opens up like a finely oiled lock. Unlike many modern videogames you have to really investigate, learn and adapt to steal the games secrets.

As always, those with a sense of nostalgia attached to the game will be the primary market, but even if you’ve never played/heard of Exerion before, the classic arcade gameplay that drives this simplistic but effective shooter remains as addictive and enjoyable as ever.

Between the weak combat, poor visuals, awkward controls and the generally poor gameplay, Cube Life: Island Survival is every bit the awful clone that you might expect to see on iOS or the Xbox 360’s Indie Game library.

Everything about it is fair/good, but nothing about it is overwhelmingly noteworthy. It’s just a solid game from top to bottom in a genre that’s gotten pretty lazy overall with clones, which this is not.

They are only eight people so I have to give them some slack, but I can’t deny that I did get bored toward the end of the game.

Simply put, these are just great pinball tables with a ton of content that will keep bringing you back for more making the replayability of this pack very high.

If you’re looking for a funny, engaging, refreshing game that isn’t afraid to challenge you and reward you for rising to those challenges then this is absolutely the game for you.

Minor issues aside, Kings Quest: A Knight to Remember is an excellent adventure game that will please both seasoned gamers and anyone that’s new to the genre.

A predictably shallow experience that would probably please those who have exhausted the ever growing population of games of this ilk but if you want an engaging, fun puzzler with lots of variety look elsewhere.

Bike Rider DX2 is a hidden gem amongst a wealth of similar titles on the bloated Nintendo eShop. It’s short lived, but with plenty of replay value and bang for your buck it’s up there with some of the best casual games of recent years and easily competes with games developed by much bigger studios.

This game never pretends to be anything other than what it is. It’s a quaint yet challenging puzzle game that hit’s at the sadistic side of every gamer that gets a vicarious thrill out of torturing NPCs.

Aaru’s awakening is a gorgeous game with a great story. Due to the sheer difficulty of the game, replayability is very low. Once I got through each level, especially the boss level, I did not want to go back and play it again. As a matter fact it makes you lose interest in the game period.

While Ninja Battle Heroes plays better than it sounds, it’s still not as well rounded as other titles of this genre. It’s cheap, deeper than you’d expect and offers lots of replay value.

This is a mechanically basic video game at best, and if the simplistic story and unique visuals don’t work for you, there is very little left to keep you entertained.

It’s a game I’ll be keeping in my collection for the foreseeable future, my girlfriend is even thinking about getting a copy as she’s a major Mario kart fan. It really is great fun.

Trials fusion has always been punishing for its hard difficulty level and The Awesome MAX Edition DLC adds to that. I highly recommend this game. It’s creative, its unique and most of all, it’s absolutely hilarious.

Gryphon Knight Epic has potential. It was a good idea and the dialogue isn’t horrible. Overall though the game just isn’t that good.

Ultimately it fails upon execution when it comes to keeping game consistency by not sticking to it’s own rules. To quote an old adage, when it’s good, it’s very good but when it’s bad, it’s horrid.

The game incorporates many different mechanics and styles which in itself is impressive, but doesn’t really excel in any of them. It’s a ‘jack of all trades, master of none’ sort of a game.

The Bridge is a good example of an Xbox arcade title done well, and if you want something to whittle away the weekend with, The Bridge stands as a very good option.

It might not be the perfect reimagining of the series that fans have been hoping for, but Gauntlet: Slayer Edition is about as close as anyone has come to delivering the contemporary Gauntlet of our dreams.

While it’s over sooner than you’d like, Gunman Clive 2 is a gorgeous little indie game regardless of if you’ve played the first title or not. The gorgeous level design and constant variety make this a short burst of challenging fun that every 3DS owner should own.

If any game was crying out for a boss battle, it’s this one. There is simply no reason to spend more than a few hours on this title at most. Yet, what’s there is really challenging and addictive.

I hated this game. It’s probably the worst game I’ve played this year… and that’s coming from a girl that played Hatoful Boyfriend. Give me a love story with a pigeon any day over this garbage.
