    As it stands right now, Momentum is a completely average example of the genre. The core of the game is solid and robust. The challenge and feeling of reward is there in full. Hampered by the terrible camera implementation however, and it becomes a chore to progress through.

    Its bright, innocent aesthetic gives it unmistakable charm, the uneventful game play in Bard’s Gold doesn’t let me justify a rating higher than “Average.”

    Those with fond memories of 80s arcade gaming will most likely get something from this unabashedly and overtly 80s wrestler, but for the majority of gamers, Mat Mania Exciting Hour will provide very little beyond a stark reminder of how far video games have come in the past thirty years.

    I found Back to Bed to be a fairly short, simplistic puzzle game that works competently but is just never quite challenging or interesting enough.

    I really wanted to like this game, the game mechanics, at least in theory, seem sound, the visual style is interesting, and running across walls is almost always fun in any game. However, Rising Islands is far too unpolished to be considered picking up. The movement is fluid as heck when it works, but far too often it is let down by unresponsive controls and a wayward camera.

    It has visually interesting tricks and stunts, but that’s about as close as it gets to being a good arcade racer. Only a select few of the maps were interesting and the gameplay was frustrating at the best of times.

    Nothing about Aritana and the Harpy’s Feather is particularly bad, but then, nothing is all that great either. It’s relatively short on content, the boss battles are extremely repetitive and the control scheme, despite showing signs of potential, has not been successfully married to the games’ level design or physics.

    Devoutly faithful to the Warhammer 40K board game that inspired it, Space Hulk seems to have floated passed a whole host of unique opportunities that would introduce a universe normally brimming with colour and vibrancy to a new audience.

    Sakura Dungeon is a game aimed at the crowd who enjoys fan-service games. It’s got gameplay, but that’s not the main focus at all. The real focus here is the girls that you can collect, interact with, and look at. If that’s not your thing (like me), then you probably shouldn’t play Sakura Dungeon. But if that is your thing, then there is a solid 20-30 hours worth here for you to enjoy, and plenty of extras.

    Fun for what it is, it has an interesting premise and I really want to recommend it as there very few games like it, the only game akin to it would be Papers Please in my mind. But the length of the game and the lackluster plot as whole makes it difficult for me to recommend.

    The mechanics are awkward, the art design is far too busy and the gameplay is, at times, borderline schizophrenic. It’s far from terrible, but Hamster’s latest really is one for video game historians only.

    Party Hard is not a bad game by any means, but it’s just not a particularly fun one. Without that addictive ‘one more go’ feeling that other games of its ilk employ so effectively, Party Hard becomes much more of a chore than a game about murdering a drunken party should.

    My rating is based on the major bugginess. The poor controls and sound. As well as the repetitiveness of the murders and ways to solve them. This is most likely one of those games they should have just stopped after the first. I really hope they don’t make another.

    It stands as a puzzle game that challenges you to K’Nex together your own brand of productivity while listening to wonderful audible treats. The aspects of fun and intrigue, unfortunately, don’t seem to come with this particular playset.

    The features you get with this version though are none that you would want to pay nine Euros for. It is overpriced and underimaginative (I know that’s not really a word, but it works so well here). If you buy this one, you might have fun, if you skip this one, you’re not missing out on anything.

    A basic but enjoyable top down shooter with fast paced game play that was a little ahead of its time. It’s a shame that this version on the Vita has not worked well at all. It looks and feels old, its tedious and repetitive.

    Arcade Archives Super Dodge Ball is an old game and it feels like an old game. It has its fun bits but not enough to justify playing it more than half an hour. If you can get someone else to play with you then you may get some enjoyment out of it but it will be a very limited experience.

    Human: Fall Flat just doesn’t have the humour of Octodad: Deadliest Catch or the challenge of Surgeon Simulator. Whilst it does have a few good ideas, especially with the incredibly fun swinging puzzles, and it’s obvious a lot of thought has gone into how the few mechanics can be used to their best effect, it just doesn’t make up for its many flaws.

    Despite its many, many issues, Island Flight Simulator’s gameplay does have some relaxing qualities and may very well appeal to those wanting a simple flying experience. Its arcade controls and handling belie its title, but the simplicity on offer highlights the potential for a sandbox experience, however limited its scope.

    Forced: Slightly Better Edition is a game that genuinely had potential. With a better camera and more variety in its puzzles – and its design – it could have been a unique experience, offering a challenging series of battles interspersed with intriguing puzzles. It could even have had a half-decent story or offered a greater breadth of character classes...But, quite simply, potential does not equal a good game.

    When the various elements come together, which does happen in certain sections and when fate allows, the game has the potential to be a clever, informative and historically accurate stealth game set among one of the most intriguing and fascinating in recent history, but too often this potential is over shadowed by clunky controls, questionable AI and dated graphics that make the game look like it is a port from a previous console generation.

    Ray Gigant is a massive let down. Its slow pace at the start doesn’t help its cause but its inability to ever really excite the player or give any enthusiasm what so ever about the games battles or its characters hurts it.

    Overall, the game is fairly average – it lacks game modes such a story mode to help understand the characters that the gamer is playing as and when jumping around there appears to be a delay from input to output, the game appears to be a bit limited to being so small and there is local multiplayer so if you want to play with a friend, then it is doable whereas some random person around the world is not going to happen – lastly, there are so few people that appear to play the game so it is difficult to find a match.
