There's nothing new to see here and given the effort that Rockstar seems to have put into this title it seems that it knows it.

And there's very little to touch it in graphical terms on a console. So if you're a graphics whore and a fan of action go right ahead, most gamers will enjoy Far Cry 2, just don't expect something as cerebral as the hype has lead you to believe.

Midnight Club LA Remix is not perfect, the early races are two easy while the harder races can come with a sudden harsh spike in difficulty, the race markers I've already mentioned and draw distances can seems a bit short when traveling at full throttle, but i can forgive it all of this just for the smile it can put on your face when it all comes together and you get lost in the race.

I know that no game is perfect but I can honestly say I had no technical issues with Dead Space at all. It did what it said it would and scared the hell out of me on a regular basis. Dead Space is one of the best survival horror games I have played and I look forward with baited breath to the sequel.

If you like a game that rewards teamwork and strategy as well as hair-trigger reactions and steady nerves, then SOCOM becomes immensely rewarding. Take the game seriously, learn quickly and bring a headset. This package will keep you entertained for a long while.

Saints Row is an explosive mix of gameplay elements that will always provide you with something to do, something to see and something to destroy.

While you’ll be afraid for the majority of the time, the save game and checkpoint system is quite generous so that you’ll never be too frustrated at a death and having to replay large portions of the game, though this takes away none of the fear.

FIFA 09 is very much like Arsenal actually; great to look at, at times an absolute joy to play and has a fantastic future if they can build on what they have, but it’s just made too many silly and needless mistakes to stop it from being great this year.

It has nothing new to offer an already crowded genre. Practically everything it does has been seen before, and the parts which haven't are too limited and clumsy to save the rest. The story is difficult to care about; the characters are generic and combat is repetitive and flaccid.

I have to admit that I enjoyed Crash: Mind Over Mutant, and really wrestled with what overall score to give. However, take away the dialogue and the voice acting (they get an easy 11 out of 10) and I really would not have stuck with its frustrating inconsistency.

Indeed, If a more damning indictment were needed, it actually took me longer to write this review than to play through and get bored of all the activities in More Game Party. So that's it then. Game over. Or in this case, it never really began.

For such a beautiful, engrossing and challenging game, it almost feels wrong to pay just 11.99 for it, but the price tag is just the tip of a spectacular iceberg.

Sure, it’s probably not going to win any awards, but Geon remains a fun and replayable crazy action puzzle sport pacman hybrid. For a fiver, it’ll give you way more than just a weekend of entertainment, but probably in short blasts over the course of a long period of time.

The nagging doubt about Multiwinia is that it is possibly too simple and short term – fun to drop into in the odd quiet half-hour, but with no visible form of progression, nothing that you will stick with in the long term.

Front end presentation is pretty dreadful. The menu system, which you'll see plenty of as it is also used for levelling up, is a shoddy mess. It looks like something from ten years ago or placeholder graphics that the developer didn't have time to replace.

Line Rider is immense simple/complex (simplex? Comple?) fun if you’re the right kind of person, if you’re the target audience. If you’re not, you’ll be baffled as to what all the fuss is about, while the rest of us will justifiably mock you for the knuckle-trails you leave behind you as you walk.

Clear Sky has a lot of potential - as does the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise - and is a worthwhile game to add to your collection because of its fair price but until the insane amount of gremlins is addressed in a patch it will always be a failure in the eyes of the fans.
