    Nier is potential squandered. It has some great and not so great characters and enemies placed into an inconsistent world where large portions of your time are spent yawning as you travel through an RPG that has stagnated in a pit of ten year old Japanese RPGs and tries nothing new to make it a worthy purchase.

    I have never played anything so momentous or revolutionary as Heavy Rain. In the coming years I expect the game's influence to be felt throughout the industry in terms of gameplay, storytelling and interactivity. This is a game that deserves all the plaudits it can get. So please go out and buy Heavy Rain and reward those that have made such a groundbreaking videogame event.

    Napoleon: Total War shimmers with genius at times. The series is still the undisputed king of strategy games, but this latest expansion takes two steps forward and one step back. The numerous improvements are greatly welcomed, but the core element that is the AI still remains broken and until CA fix it the game remains a flawed diamond.

    Sepulveda has so lovingly created? No, absolutely, unequivocally not. Darwinia+ deserves to be experienced by as many people as possible. It’s not going to be for everyone, that’s for certain. Some won’t even give it longer than the first couple of levels (which are painstakingly slow and confusing to boot) or be able to forgive it its frailties.

Therefore your enjoyment is really dependant on whether you’re the type of person who is likely to seek out and become a member of an existing clan, or have enough online friends to create your own. Given the price gouging Activision has embarked on with this release the centrepiece of the game is insultingly short.     It is an oddity in the gaming world which is mercifully free of the shallow obsession over improved graphics. Instead the focus is on fulfilling your managerial fantasies and the gaps are filled in by your own knowledge and love of the game.     Sure, it's got a decent enough Ghostbusters style, but with a game that really lacks any polish at all, screams bugs at you, and has the most ridiculously long loading times, even from sleep mode, it's a terrible port of the PS2 and Wii versions of the game... and they were a poor man's version of the PS3/360 editions anyway.
