Nier is potential squandered. Napoleon: Total War shimmers with genius at times. The series is still the undisputed king of strategy games, but this latest expansion takes two steps forward and one step back. Sepulveda has so lovingly created? No, absolutely, unequivocally not. Darwinia+ deserves to be experienced by as many people as possible. It’s not going to be for everyone, that’s for certain. It doesn’t provide an experience – it merely provides the tools with which to make an experience. Therefore your enjoyment is really dependant on whether you’re the type of person who is likely to seek out and become a member of an existing clan, or have enough online friends to create your own. If you’re not, then you’re much better off sticking to the more user friendly Battlefield, or COD: MW2.- Boomtown

Sure, it's got a decent enough Ghostbusters style, but with a game that really lacks any polish at all, screams bugs at you, and has the most ridiculously long loading times, even from sleep mode, it's a terrible port of the PS2 and Wii versions of the game... and they were a poor man's version of the PS3/360 editions anyway.- Boomtown

As it is Tekken 6 comes highly recommended to those who can play it regularly with friends, or to those that are prepared to wait to see if the soon-to-be-released patch really does sort out all of the online issues. The only additional gripe is the awful frame-rate (there is no reason whatsoever for the constant dips in performance). Elite Forces is a bit of a strange game really, somewhere between a RTS game and an arcade shooter, it's certainly more accessible than most RTS games, so maybe could be an introduction to the genre for beginners. So to summarize, Blood on the Sand doesn't suck. That is perhaps what is largely wrong with FEAR 2: as quintessential a First-Person-Shooter as it is, it doesn't have the heart and soul of games like, for example, Half-Life 2; your character is merely existing in the world rather than living in it, and that's a departure from which even the new quick-time events cannot save it.- Boomtown

If your emphasis is purely on strategic and tactical gameplay, AoE is unlikely to disappointment. It may lack soul and charm, but AoE has that essential ‘just one more turn before bedtime’ appeal to it. If however you want a more rounded package, something that has charm in addition to gameplay, and one that is likely to live long in the memory afterwards, there are many better suited titles to choose from.- Boomtown
