In case Bandai Namco is thinking of revitalizing the series with a sequel, I hope this remaster is a test of what works and what needs to be updated further. Freedom Wars Remastered is a fine remaster that allows a new audience to experience one of the most beloved games on the PlayStation Vita.

Madden NFL 22 is a solid entry in the sports franchise, however, it lacks innovation and doesn't feel like a truly next-gen experience like many would hope it does.

A relatively simple yet somewhat deep game. Albeit it doesn’t harbor a really challenging difficulty nor a complex story, it offers an easygoing narrative in which its gameplay rewards aspects like exploration and collections of items for alchemy recipes over other more common in the genre like action, narrative and complex controls.

If you have already experienced the previous games, you definitely have to continue with this compilation full of moments of uncertainty, seriousness and comedy that cannot be missing from the series. On the other hand, if you want to start here, there is really nothing that prevents it, but the ideal is that you already know how everything works in these courts.

A pretty good sequel for one of the most fun indie games out there. Fantastic 1 v 1 action.

If you want to play a title reminiscent of the N64 era, this is definitely the place to lose yourself for hours. If you missed it at the time, now's the time to give it a try; that goes for those who left it unfinished, too.

Toukiden 2 works very well as a sequel with the new open world that offer us a better approximation to the missions and the demon hand that gives us more options on its combat system. Although the game is not perfect, could be a good choice for the hunting action RPG lovers.

A great and awesome tribute for all the classic arcade racing games like Out Run and Top Gear.

In the end, it is a game that is worth trying because despite the small details against it, it must also be said that it meets the goal of all products of its kind, that is to entertain. So, if you're a fan of Soulslike, you can't miss this adventure. On the other hand, if you are new to the genre, you should know that the game must be learned little by little in order to enjoy it to its fullest.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is a decent fighting game that's sure to stir the nostalgia of many, since, as mentioned at the beginning of the review, it's been 25 years since we've had a new installment. But thinking it can compete with its rivals might be difficult, despite having KOF people involved in its development.

Code Vein II is a title that can be considered a continuation of the original, but it also adds elements that make the gameplay more enjoyable, including revamped blood codes, a greater presence of companions, and added weapons. As a result, the combat is improved, feeling more fluid and precise.

Firaxis Games manages to pull out a nearly flawless balance between complexity and simplicity. It adds more levels of gameplay and a greater variety of paths to choose from, but at the same time it becomes more intuitive and easy to understand.

Definitely not the perfect job was done in terms of gameplay, but at least it is a good tribute to the original work and therefore, to the author, who unfortunately was not able to see the finished project. So, if you were looking for something different and with a concept that is not just about fighting, it is very possible that you will find this game fun with the good customization options on vehicles.

MLB The Show 21 is another solid entry in the franchise, but some technical problems and little to no innovations make it one of the weakest installments in the whole series.

Leikir Studio's work offers us a good combination of the classic elements of Metal Slug and the strategic approach of a tactical RPG. The roguelike system allows for experimentation to be essential, and the progression makes this adventure as long or short as you want it to be. Two contrasting ideas merge in a way that seemed impossible, and the end result is fun. However, the game's performance is terrible. It's a bad joke to have to wait after doing something as simple as moving a unit. While it is true that Metal Slug Tactics is a good game, it is likely that many will not see it that way after witnessing its terrible performance, and will pass up one of the most fun games of the year.

It is a game that remains decent, it is not at all the fifth wonder of the world, but neither can it be interpreted as a disaster that will leave users indifferent, especially the most fanatical. The next installment must commit to delivering a product worthy of the new generation of consoles, since it seems that PS4 and Xbox One are limiting in some way.

If you've never tried this alternate franchise in your life, you definitely need to get Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, especially since the individual games are already hard to find. For its part, if you already have all of them in your GBA collection, you are not going to find something from another world.

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is not a game, but it can be appreciated for other elements like its fragmented and mysterious story, impressive landscapes, detailed environments, excellent soundtrack and ambiental audio. Maybe this project is not for those who are waiting for a videogame but it's an interesting way to offer us a story and a world in that we are only tourist and observers in a slow and contemplative experience.

A Hat in Time is an interesting platform game in which you take control of an amazing, cute little girl fighting to get the fuel she needs to come back home. Despite looking and taking a lot of elements from great platform games like Banjo-Kazooie and Super Mario 64, it's a challenging game that's gonna take you by surprise, even tough it's not an amazingly crafted 3D world.

Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers is a game to enter the genre of srpg, because the learning curve is very smooth and allows new players to understand the most basic concepts. The latter is its greatest strength, since it simplifies the experience and makes it friendly to everyone so that is the best way to know this type of games. It is also brilliant to let us see the franchise from a fresh point of view and make us understand it in more ways, so we can enjoy more of the series and its history. However, we can not say that it is excellent because it is technically mediocre, even though this is not entirely relevant, they could have made a greater effort to make the game feel more alive.
