Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster is a great way to experience one of the best JRPGs of the turn of the century. However, the remastering work leaves a lot to be desired.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles is a title made for fans full of fan service. The simple, but fun combat makes it one of the best anime games of recent years, but it still has a couple of problems.

A great return to the action mecha shooter sub genre. Daemon X Machina is not for everyone, nonetheless, a pretty good videogame.

If you are looking for an interactive movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat, it is logical that The Quarry is going to be that title that will quench your thirst for mystery or terror. However, if you are looking for a revolution in this genre both in narrative and in the playable part, unfortunately you are going to have to keep waiting for a later installment.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 offers tons of content that don't necessarily drive people intro micro-transactions. Lighthearted and colourful, it never punishes the player and it's only held back by its limited narrative and unfair progression system.

Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is a way to give this branch of the character, which perhaps wasn't as popular, a new lease on life. It features seven different gameplay options, each tailored to the user's play style thanks to quality-of-life improvements.

Life is Strange: Reunion stands out as a solid and coherent contribution to the saga, functioning both as an emotional conclusion to a stage and as a reaffirmation of the narrative values that have defined the franchise since its inception.

Miitopia is a very charismatic game that offers us the necessary tools to create all kinds of Mii. While this port may not be worth a second purchase for everyone who already owns the game on 3DS, this is a fun adventure from start to finish.

A great, light RTS experience. If you like campaigns in this genre, you should check it out, but if you are looking for a hardcore competitive experience, you won't find it here. Blitz is OK, but the microtransactions system does not work well.

For Persona 3: Reload fans, Episode Aigis is a pretty interesting piece of content that's worth paying for, but for those who couldn't quite connect with the base experience, this DLC won't be for them. This is an expansion that struggles to justify its existence, a task that seems impossible considering Persona 3: Reload's spectacular ending, but it's not a job without merit.

As a final word, even as a new person to the franchise, I have to say that Return To Monkey Island would be an experience that fans of the franchise are going to totally enjoy. I had a pretty gratifying time, even if I didn't understand all the references to past adventures of which I have no immediate recollection.

What I'm trying to say is that if you have the slightest interest in all the technical aspects of how a modern video game console works, you should have this software among your priorities. The same is true if you're especially enthusiastic about everything related to Nintendo itself.

The multiplayer is absolutely funny. Is plenty of characters. But the story mode and some of the heroes doesn't have the charisma that you could expect. Great ideas, but not so well developed.

A pretty good remastered version of a decent FPS that nobody played during the last console generation. If you want a crazy adventure full of bullets and gore, you should check it out.

Star Wars Rebes Pinball is not only a nice tribute to the popular franchise and its animated series; it offers one of the most accessible virtual pinball machines on the entire catalogue of Zen Pinball with fun missions and curious skill shots. It’s easy to start for beginners and challenging for veterans.

If you are a Pokémon fan, you will probably enjoy getting more out of the versions of Scarlet and Violet with this DLC, while we wait for the next big installment, which could be some kind of remaster. And yes, something to keep in mind is the fact that things are not going to improve graphically or in performance for this new content that is already available in the eShop.

The criteria for evaluating whether or not you should purchase it depends on your love for the saga, since, if you are looking for the latest news, it is a must-buy that will bring with it hundreds of hours of fun, but if your profile is not that Dude, could you wait a little longer.

The big questions are: was Donkey Kong Country Returns HD necessary? Who would we recommend it to and who wouldn’t we? Well, considering that its previous versions simply don’t fit today’s standards anymore, I think it’s a good thing to have such an outstanding game on the comfort of a Switch, that doesn’t mean that we’re already talking about its third version. It’s a very easy recommendation for those who have never played it. If that’s your case, it should be among your priorities, yes, it’s that good. Things get complicated if you were able to play it on Wii, 3DS or both, since you’ll be receiving practically the same product. I never like to bring up the subject of price in these reviews, but I think it does play an important role here. Probably if it weren’t selling for the $60 it will be at launch, it would be a lot easier to tell you to go for it.

Despite its uncomfortable format of sale and even thought many of its screen options don't adjust very well to most of its games, the Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 + 2 are a pair of great compendiums that let us relive one of the most memorable sagas in Capcom's history. Fans of the X series will love the opportunity to play all of the titles in the franchise again, even those last ones weren't as memorable as their first entries were.
